  1. Chelsea doubling Barcelona’s contract offer for key player https://www.Chelsea-news.co/2022/02/Chelsea-doubling-barcelonas-contract-offer-for-key-player/ Barcelona are growing increasingly concerned about Chelsea’s interest in their central defender Ronald Araujo, according to well placed sources at Catalan paper Sport. They claim that the Uruguayan loves Barcelona, and is happy to stay – but that as it stands, Chelsea are offering twice what the Blaugrana are to sign up the defender long term. It still seems likely he stays put, but the pressure Chelsea are applying from their end will create plenty of doubt about his future. Araujo has grown from a good prospect to a really solid player over the last 12 months of being thrown in at the deep end in a difficult time at Barcelona, and he probably sees his development best served by staying put at the club where he has risen through the ranks. But money talks, and if the rumours are true, there’s no way he will be able to turn down sign a massive wage hike.
  2. wtf, prosecute him! wow, as some said, you can never tell 😿
  3. acceptable CB's experienced WC Marquinhos (hard as fuck pull) Matthijs de Ligt Milan Skriniar Jules Koundé Alessandro Bastoni (will not leave) Kalidou Koulibaly (only for a fair fee, as I think he still has 3, 4 top years left) youth/younger Jurrien Timber (very interesting player, only 1.79m, but is insanely good on the ball) Sven Botman Josko Gvardiol Maxence Lacroix Odilon Kossounou Nico Schlotterbeck
  4. Unless we are going to roll with Broja, (Soonsup-Bell is not ready yet. he just turned 18 four weeks ago) there are just not that may acceptable strikers out there forget fantasyland Håland and Mbappe. zero chance either comes here, and we fucked off and lost Dušan Vlahović soooo that leaves these 10 (I am not at all sold on Youssef En-Nesyri, Patrik Schick, or André Silva as being EPL level CF's) listed by T-Markt valuation Lautaro Martínez so wish we had grabbed him and not Lu-kaka, but Inter will not sell him for less than some insane price Victor Osimhen proto-type EPL CF IMHO Gabriel Jesus NO Richarlison NO Jonathan David Amine Gouiri (need to see another big season out of him before I am sold) Dominic Calvert-Lewin too expensive for what he presents as atm Alexander Isak his release clause is too high though Karim Adeyemi best under 21yo CF out there atm IMHO Darwin Núñez not sure if he fits our style

  6. Sponsors Nike DUMP Mason Greenwood for good following the Manchester United star's arrest over allegations he raped, assaulted and threatened to kill an 18-year-old student Nike will no longer sponsor footballer Mason Greenwood, according to reports Greenwood, 20, was last week arrested on suspicion of rape and assault He was further arrested on suspicion of threatening to kill an 18-year-old student Sportswear giants now confirm their relationship with the player is entirely over https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-10485435/Nike-END-relationship-Manchester-United-star-Mason-Greenwood.html
  7. their big weakness is GKer and their back 4 if those were on par with the best of the rest of the starting XI, they would be a team that perhaps could stay up in the EPL, but the drop off is large their defence the starters were Abdullah Al-Muaiouf Goalkeeper (35yo and shit) Hyun-soo Jang Centre-Back (was oki, 30yo 1.87m, long time SoKo national team starter, easy their best CB, came off with a knock, so hopefully doesn't play) Ali Al-Boleahi Centre-Back (32, short, 1.78m. and really. really shit) Yasser Al-Shahrani Left-Back (almost 30yo, short, 1.71m, and was also true shit) Saud Abdulhamid Right-Back (was oki, 22yo, 1.78m, pacey)
  8. they have 6 players they have purchased or loaned from big boy leagues and teams Matheus Pereira Attacking Midfield from West Brom via West Ham (£20m transfer) he destroyed us for West Brom in April 2021 (that 5 2 hiding we took) Moussa Marega Second Striker from Porto Michael Left Winger from Flamengo André Carrillo Right Winger from Benfica Gustavo Cuéllar Defensive Midfield from Flamengo Odion Ighalo Centre-Forward from Manchester United and they have a decent Saudi CMF in Mohamed Kanno, big (1.92m, and has a real motor, he dominated MF all game long yesterday, plus scored)
  9. Felix would get bullied at CF in the EPL, he is not good at hold-up play the only players on AM who interest me are Jan Oblak (is having an off year so far, and is so not the worth £107m release claise) Marcos Llorente (we do not need him, and he is also having an off year) José María Giménez (injuries have always worried me, and his play was never the same after Godin left) Rodrigo de Paul (see Llorente, minus the off year) Renan Lodi (as a backup LB)
  10. ‘He wants to go’: BBC pundit thinks 28-year-old Chelsea player will push for a transfer in the summer https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/pundit-view/he-wants-to-go-bbc-pundit-thinks-28-year-old-Chelsea-player-will-push-for-a-transfer-in-the-summer/ Nigel Reo-Coker foresaw a change of scenery away from Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku once the campaign concludes. Speaking on the BBC Football Daily podcast, the former Aston Villa midfielder suggested that Lukaku will potentially look to leave in the summer. Up until just over a month ago, this prediction would’ve seemed ridiculous. Although the striker had struggled in front of goal, coupled with a lengthy absence through injury, the idea of him calling time early on his club-record return to Stamford Bridge simply didn’t enter anyone’s thinking. However, this all immediately changed after the 28-year-old’s interview with Sky Italia came to the surface. In the conversation, which was recorded and published in December, Lukaku seemed to hit out at Thomas Tuchel’s tactics and hinted and wanting to re-join Inter Milan. Obviously, the Belgian was struck down by a wave of criticism from all corners of the profession. Tuchel dropped the centre-forward for Chelsea’s crucial Premier League against Liverpool. Lukaku then issued a public video apology to supporters of the Champions League holders, yet the damage had already been done. Lukaku looks like a different man Since these damming statements came to light, he has only scored once across all competitions, at home to Chesterfield in the FA Cup. Something is still not right in the player who was dubbed the missing piece in Tuchel’s league title-challenging puzzle. “It’s never going to be the same. We are never going to know what’s happened, unless you are in that room with Tuchel and Lukaku at the training ground,” said Reo-Coker. “That relationship can’t be mended. I think, for me, he wants to go and it’s difficult because it’s going to reflect on his football. “He already believes the team don’t play to his strengths. So, it’s a difficult one. You can already see that he hasn’t really been the same. “We are not seeing the same Lukaku who was literally destroying, manhandling Serie A players for Inter Milan. “For me, that’s more of a mental thing and that’s going to be a tough thing where Chelsea are going to have to revaluate everything at the end of the season.” Who fires first? Now the drama has unfolded and sort of settled, seeing Lukaku walk away from the project at the end of the season wouldn’t be that much of a surprise. Especially if he did move back to Inter, the team that helped him fall in love with football again. Selling the expensive recruit for anything less than the original £97.5m (Sky Sports) fee will not be in Roman Abramovich’s remit. However, reimbursing Lukaku’s transfer cost is highly unlikely, therefore one of the parties must budge on their standpoints. Chelsea as an organisation usually win this in-house battle.
  11. I agree he will score a tonne (same league, better team) but there is no way to say he would not score here, and score more than Lukaku I see no reason why he would not succeed here (maybe not the same number of goals as in Serie a, but still a shedload IMHO) we have had CF's score a good amount here in the past 2016/17 Diego Costa 22 2014/15 Diego Costa 20 2012/13 Fernando Torres 22 2009/10 Didier Drogba 37 2006/07 Didier Drogba 33 2008/09 Nicolas Anelka 25 2001/02 Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink 29 2000/01 Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink 26 Olivier Giroud scored a lot given the lighter amount of minutes he played (39 goals in only around 5700 minutes for us) Plus in his time here: FA Cup: 2017–18; runner-up: 2019–20, 2020–21 (robbed in both games by PGMOL, especially v Arsenal) UEFA Champions League: 2020–21 UEFA Europa League: 2018–19 (destroyed Arsenal 4-1, and he scored) EFL Cup runner-up: 2018–19 (the Kepa 'no go' game v Citeh) FIFA World Cup: 2018 and in the 2017 FA Community Shield (the Pedro red card late that allowed them to draw even) he scored the winning shootout pen for Arse versus us (still have NO CLUE why Cuntois took a pen, which he missed, of course) (Chelsea part post January transfer)
  12. most earned gross most spent gross
  13. Net transfer spending over last ten seasons https://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/b5wp/2021/wp367/en/ Issue number 367 of the CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post ranks current big-5 league clubs according to their net spending on transfer operations concluded over the last ten seasons. Manchester United tops the table with a negative balance of more than one billion euro, ahead of Manchester City and Paris St-Germain. Fourteen English clubs are in the top 20 of clubs with the most negative net transfer spending. LOSC Lille clubs stands out at the opposite end with a positive transfer balance of €349 million over the last decade. The French side outranks league rivals Olympique Lyonnais and three Italian Serie A teams: Genoa, Udinese and Atalanta. The top three of current big-5 league clubs having generated the most incomes from transfers since 2012/13 are Chelsea, Monaco and Atlético Madrid. In total, 52 out 98 clubs have a positive net spending. This ratio is one (Brentford) out of 20 for Premier League teams. Gathered with the greatest care through the cross-checking of all possible sources, whether official or unofficial, the data includes eventual add-on fees included in the deals, regardless of their actual payment. Within the limits of available information, incomes deriving from sell-on fees are also taken into account.

  15. Boost for Chelsea as injured defensive star is surprisingly included in Club World Cup squad https://astamfordbridgetoofar.com/2022/02/reece-james-Chelsea-squad-fifa-club-world-cup-injury-news-mason-mount/ Chelsea duo Reece James and Mason Mount were included in the squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup fixture According to Evening Standard, Chelsea star Reece James is included in the 23-man squad that will travel to Abu Dhabi for the semi-final of the FIFA Club World Cup. The Blues received a major setback as manager Thomas Tuchel tested positive for Covid-19 in the build-up to the FA Cup fixture against Plymouth Argyle. This means that the German would be absent from the sidelines for his team’s upcoming Club World Cup encounter. James, meanwhile, hasn’t featured in a match for the Blues since December 29 but his inclusion in the squad could be a positive sign. Mason Mount also picked up a knock and had to be substituted in the 96th minute of their match against Plymouth. While there was a lot of uncertainty regarding their availability, their inclusion in the squad could be a welcome boost for the west London club.
  16. Gabaski only started the last 3 games, their main keeper got injured
  17. Mendy won GKer of the tournament just now
  18. Senegal tonight is going to be a fucking madhouse their first ever continual championship after so many heart-breaking losses
  19. Mendy's linear runs blows that away, as he won continental championship trophies for Club (CL) and Country (AFCON), was in the FA Cup final, plus he was UEFA GKer of the year and FIFA GKer of the year, and then add in (hopefully) winning the FWCC (so a world championship) and the League Cup and we still are in the CL and the FA Cup as well
  20. Egypt are a horrid side except for Salah (and their GK had a worldie game) and Salah did fuckall this game
  21. and hopefully in a week the world linear trifecta
  22. now he needs to get his ass to the UAE and win the world club championship
