The Atletico results are making people think this is a tougher game than it should be. A 'second string' team should still get the job done comfortably Tibo; Dave, Luiz, Rudiger ; Zappa, Kante, Drinkwater, Alonso ; Pedro, Morata, Willian Hazard and Cesc on the bench if needed

Morazpi is back!! Morata is a beast in the air but needs to be more clinical with the ball at his feet. 3-5-2 with hazard and kante fit is the way to go playing the better teams.. i still think 3-4-3 is the one playing lesser teams who just try to defend and counter. much needed win + confidence boost before internationals

Not Willians biggest fan by a long stretch but make a difference when he came on.. Needs to keep picking up goals/assists for him to be a starter in my eyes

Couple of point from last night... Defence looks shot, zero confidence with Dave uncharacteristically getting beat too often. Christensen and Rudiger should be playing more. Bakayoko has been good, but way too many pity fouls around the box (some harsh but still) Cesc.. I love what he brings to the team but the man has no legs, should be used sparingly such as in the midfield 2 only when we'll dominate a game and can cope with only one defensive mid. Cesc pretty much needs a free role Pedro(and musonda) over Willian. Willian is comfortable slow on the ball, one trick pony with no end product. Pedro is the opposite, never looks under control but will always have an end product. I know he's been poor but is like to see Bats up top with Morata see what he can do we are Hazard and Kante fc!

Like a few have said, strange timing around all this. I can image conte taking some time off over the internationals. Plus, unless something has been said this week would have thought Musonda would be on the bench this weekend with a good shout of some minutes. Morata and Kante seemingly out injured, luiz suspended still and Willian 1) out of form and 2) playing for Brazil tomorrow morning- which means he wont get back to London until Thursday at the earliest. does make me wonder what goes on, however we really cant perfect the transition from the best crop of under18's to the first team regardless of the Musonda drama
