  1. How much do you think Auba will cost?
  2. "He's going to be the worst striker to ever cost over 40m." Thats your personal opinion, which i don't rate highly. "finishing 90 minutes is an achievement to him" accruing a team-leading 3267 minutes on the pitch and appearing in all but one league match for everton during 2016-17. "Wasted his body's potential so far" he is a dominating physical presence who has raised his goal scoring tally year after year Do you have any actual proof to back up the ridiculous statements you make?
  3. I thought the main thing to you was his IQ? or was it his mentality? or is it his physique? or how he seemingly scored 25 useless goals against the worst teams ever? This guy must be the worst player alive in your mind.
  4. Concerning that Bayern Munich are in for Tolisso now, they dont fuck around.
  5. I was just quoting what someone who is more invested in the football world than I mentioned. That was the role he was asked to play, I think he has the ability to do an all around job here for us. He is an exciting prospect in my eyes
  6. I think from everything ive read and seen is he is in the middle of the two types which is why I mentioned his all around ability. He can sort of be molded to whatever you see fit, his versatility is important (as quoted in the link) That scouting report shows how he has grown going forward but also mentions he can be a doberman in a 3 man midfield or excel in his current role as a double pivot. I think he is an extremely talented young player who would be a really good signing. Ideally we would be able to sign Bakayoko AND Tolisso but we will see what the clubs does. Either way i am encouraged to be linked with either prospect, they are talented, young, physical, and have some skills we currently do not posses
  7. I agree but having someone who can do both is obviously a dream scenario. I think this guy has the potential to be a workhorse with some nice skill, i asked David Amoyal a Dimarzio writer about him and he said he was a "Mini Vidal" admittedly he is a very big fan of Tolisso but I think he has the work rate and physicality to hold up in our center mid next to Kante while providing positive passes forward and a dash of creativity
  8. I think he is a more appropriate partner for kante than Bakayoko, he has more vision going forward and is a threat from outside the box shooting. He can pick a pass and control our midfield all while being a bigger physical presence. Has the perfect person to learn from with Fabregas. He is just a really well rounded skillful player with a good physical profile. Conte will be able to work with him and help improve. I love bakayoko but if i had a choice of who to pair next to Kante I would take this guy. I believe they could work in a midfield 3 if we went to a 352 but if i could have only one it would be Tolisso A good link to read/watch what he brings: http://statsbomb.com/2017/01/identifying-ligue-1s-next-big-breakout-talents-1-tolisso/
  9. http://royalbluemersey.sbnation.com/2017/5/24/15678240/2016-17-everton-player-reviews-romelu-lukaku-grades-premier-league-transfer-latest An interesting read about his season in review. They touch on "big games" and how important he was for Everton. "This season was a fitting send off: plenty of goals and an improved league position. He never went more than 4 matches without scoring and never missed a start after being injured for the first match of the season"
  10. This was obviously before the season ended but still interesting.
  11. 87 Goals in 156 Games. 24 Years old with 25 goals this past season Physical Monster with room to improve his skills. Scoring goals in a big league with a mid table team Love for our team. What exactly are people so upset over if we sign him? This reminds me of the Luiz signing all over again, people are complaining and bashing him then he was one of our most important and best performing players. Clearly Conte wants him so IF we do end up signing him instead of hoping he plays bad and thinking you were right get on board and hope he is an overwhelming success!
  12. my concern isnt going forward, it is the defending bit that troubles me.
  13. Oh I agree, I was always assuming Diego was moving on this summer but the Atleti Ban and China tax put a big kink in our plans. I do not think that they can play together it would be an infuriating sight aha but if we do sign him that has to be the end for Diego, they will move him now or in January or else Conte will have to man manage the HELL out of that situation. (His signing could be music to Batmans ears since I think they could play together like they do in Belgium) Yes, ManU certainly need him more than us with the current rosters but I think Lukaku still has a sour taste in his mouth from Mourinho talking shit and he wants to be the next Drogba in Chelsea blue rather than just another Striker in the United history books. Just feels like he loves Chelsea and wants to prove everyone wrong, with that sort of motivation I could get excited about him quickly.
  14. As much as I want Bonucci (and its ALOT) he has always played the Center of the 3, Luiz has shown he is a liability anywhere besides the center. I don't think Bonucci will come here to be playing as LCB (where his partner Chiellini is a maestro) he could be the link to get us back to 4 at the back but with our current system of 3 CB's id be hard pressed to play Bonucci out of position and even more concerned about Luiz kicking out to one of the sides. I have the same concerns with Christensen but he hasn't played in the same position for as long as Bonucci so he could be trained for it easier perhaps. @the wes:was writing when you posted, you would trust Luiz on the outside? Didn't we try that with Terry in the middle and it didn't go so well (genuine question, i am not sure)?
  15. I disagree, I think Lukaku has only Chelsea in mind. It seems destined that we will buy him the only negotiation being had is the fee between us and Everton. I would be shocked if he went to ManU. Frankly I was lukewarm on the Idea of Lukaku coming home but I think he will prove the doubters on here wrong and be a star for us. But if he does go to ManU or Bayern then hopefully we can buy Belotti since he is my favourite (for silly biased reasons haha)
  16. I like him as a player, but the costs being reported are out of control. Hopefully this leads to us looking at Christensen and giving him a real chance.
  17. If we pair him with Kante/Tolisso with Hazard/Costa(or lukaku) up front we would score a ton of goals. Have you seen Keita play!? Tolisso would be more help from an attacking perspective than Bakayoko obviously but Keita is a killer going forward
  18. thank you, that is what i initially thought but was trying to be hopeful
  19. I disagree in that I think it is an area we urgently need competition. It is physically grueling. Baba coming off an ACL tear as backup for a team trying to challenge for PL and CL titles? I don't think so. Also I had high hopes for Kenedy but he doesnt have the necessary defensive skills and I also don't think Conte trusts him. I agree we should use our youth as squad players and eventually important players when they are ready but in my opinion we don't have any available to fill such an integral role. I really want Lew Baker to come back and challenge fabregas and Christensen to come back and earn a place.
  20. I agree, I think he did a very good job also i was always one of his defenders. But every spot needs competition in my mind. also what youngster did you have in mind that could fill that particular role?
  21. Can someone more educated in transfer bans enlighten me. Does it only ban them from signing players or registering? For example could we not swap Diego + cash for Griezz? or does the problem lay in then registering Diego as a member of Atletico? forgive my ignorance just trying to think outside the box
  22. Not dropped but certainly rotated, huge slate of games next year (hopefully) can't have only one option for one of the most grueling positions on the field.
  23. my thoughts exactly, that is why i just assumed it was never possible and solely available in my dreams. We shall see how this progresses, would be a world class signing.
  24. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/3696446/chelsea-alex-sandro-juventus/ This fell under the Alaba rumour in my head, i always figured he wasnt available. he would be scary scary scary good in our system with conte. Let us pray this happens, id forget all about Mendy aha Off in dreamland with this rumour
