If I had to compare some players to Drogba (to his style and not quality because he is the best in the business) I would say Romelu Lukaku, Bafetimbi Gomis, Seydou Doumbia, Brandao. Bu7t I think only one guy "deserves" the name New Drogba ana that is Romelu Lukaku

I don't agree with you at all ... we have Cech and very promising Delač and Šebek in GK postion so I think we don't need new goalkeepers. In attack we have the starting trio Malouda, Drogba and Anelka, good subs like Zhirkov, Kalou, Benayoun and very promising youngster like Kakuta, Stturidge and Borini. In midfield we have Lamps, Essien and Mikel for starters and Matič, Mancienne for back up ... we can also play Zhirkov and Malouda here but if Malouda gets injured we can't use Zhirkov who is a replacement for left wing. Our midfield is way the short, especially now that we released Ballack, Belletti, J.Cole and probably Deco ... I am sorry but I don't trust Matič and Mancienne (if he stays) in a CL semi final game against Barcelona if Lamps or Essien get injured. We need at least 1 if not 2 midfielders, one ofensive and one defensive. Ramires could replace Ballack and a guy like Ozil could replace Deco and we would be a lot better than last year, then we buy a guy like Aguero or Neymar and you have IMO the best team in Europe

Every year we are linked to 3 top right backs ... I just don't get it, we have Ivanovič and we have Bosingwa and that is more the enough.

I can't get that information about how Real Madrid got around 90mil € for just selling Ronaldo kits out of my head. If this information is true I think Chelsea fans will buy so many Aguero kits that the club can recoup all of the transfer money, even if it is 50mil €. Real Madrid only sold those kits in Madrid, imagine how much have they gotten in the whole world. With Aguero being so popular and wanted by Chelsea fans in the last 2 years I believe we could make something BIG happen ... I mean we can't just stand and do nothing. We should organise a huge action that will connect Chelsea fans all over the world and we can send one clear message - WE WANT AGUERO !!! If we buy him I will definately get his name on back of my Chelsea shirt ... what about you guys ??

He made m big mistake but when you are a goalkeeper every mistake is big and will get you in trouble. I feel bad for him beause people won't forgive him for this mistake ... but guys this is freaking PRE SEASON !!!

I think he would be a perfect replacement for ageing Anelka ... both are strikers but both can play wide. I think they are both quite fast, Balotelli is a little more skillful but Anelka has better passing ability. In 2,3 years I can see Anelka leaving and I don't think Kalou can replace him on the right wing so our option can be Balotelli or Neymar. If Kakuta would play on the left with Neymar on the right we would have fast but quite small attack which isn't always good (Barca - Messi, Pedro) so I think Balotelli would fit in better then Neymar. The only problem is ofcourse his attitude and he also reseblance Anelka in this way when Anelka was younger , but if we can get him to behave I think we could hit a jackpot with this kid ...

Ithink both full backs played quite well, Matič was also pretty good in midfield and I love Sturridge who is very fast, skilfull and just need to finish something to get his confidence up. I am a little dissapointed of Mceachran who was bright at the beggining but faded away in the game, he is still very young so I don't put much pressure on him or any other young player ... If they do well it's great but even if they don't they have time on their side and just need some support from trainers and fans.

If he will leave and we won't be regularly in CL and fighting for top spots we will at least see who is a true fan. I am definately going to cheer and support Chelsea for long time and even if Roman goes. But even if he does go I think we have a bright future with many young talnts, fantastic academy and training ground, great stadium, world class players and world class staff and amazing fans ...

Mutu, Forsell, Smertin, Nuno Morais, Jarošik, Kežman ... just to name few in the last 5 years. I have a feeling Benayoun will be mentioned in this thread in 2 years

I know there is very little chance but I would sign both ... I mean they are very different players and would complement each other perfectly. Lukaku is strong, good in the air, tall, great finisher while Neymar is more skillful, fast and can make goals for himself. The trainers always say you need one big guy who can hold the ball and one little guy who is fast and can dribble (Rooney-Heskey, Fabiano-Robinho, Villa-Torres, Novakovič-Dedič in Slovenia national team ). Can you Imagine the line ... Kakuta ------- Lukaku -------- Neymar

Rather have David Luiz, who is younger, quicker and better. He would be more expensive but I think he is worth it. But first of all I would try Mancienne, Rajkovič and Bruma in pre season friendlies and see if tehy can compete with Alex, Terry, Ivke and maybe Carvalho (if he stays). I would keep Carvalho for one more year but apparently he is going to Inter so I think we will need one replacement.

You can't say they are more talented than Özil beacuse he has impressed in Bundesliga and WC. They only play for reserves and have a lot of potential but our youngsters are very overrated. People were saying Sinclair is a huge talent, Di Santo is a huge talent and we now see this isn't true. I will wait a few more years to say if Kakuta and McEachran are good and right for Chelsea but until then Özil is a much better option, beacuse he is ready for big games in CL and against BIG 4.

I am sorry but I've got to reply to what you said. Neuer only got 1 goal and it wasn't his fault and he made some fantastic saves vs Ghana that kept Germany in game. He was also very good and reliant in catching crosses and intercepting passes. Pastore did a great job when he was in the game and showed more than Veron in 2 games. I have to admit I only watched Kjaer in teh games vs Cameron and he was pretty good then, I don't know how he played in other 2 games though. I made this list on my own opinion and I didn't want to start arguing here ... if you don't like it I'm fine with that. People judge players differently for instance some sites give a player rating 6 and other give him like 7.5 or even 8.

I think he is too old for Argentina starting eleven because he can't run much and is slowing things down. Pastore played much less but he was excellent and I think Maradona should give him the place in staring 11.

Have you seen hsi goal today ?? It was a real beauty and his overall performance was also good. He has impressed me in Werder Bremen shirt this year and he is fantastic in this WC so i really hope we buy him because we need a playmaker. His finishing isn't so perfect (like the 1on1 chance he had in 1st half) but he is only 21 years old and can learn alot and I think he could really develope in one of the best midfielders in the world in a few years.

The way this transfer market is going we will probably buy Martin Palermo or someone like that I really hope Aguero comes to Chelsea, Pastore played quite well tonight and we need a replacement for Ballack so if we buy them both I won't mind at all

I watched hm quite a lot in Bundesliga and in friendly matches with Germany. He was fantastic and has an amazing vison, passing ability and can really dictate the tempo. He needs to work on his consistency, finishing and a little more body muscle. I really think he can become one of the best midfielders in the world and I think he is exactly the player we need in our midfield to replace Deco and Ballack. I am just afraid Werder will set a big price on him maybe even more than 30mil €.

Who will play in our midfield next year ?? I thought we released Ballack, J.Cole nad Belletti for a reason. We are running out of creative midfielders and I am not happy at all. We need a player with a spark who can't make something happend out of nowhere. Sergio Aguero, Alexandro Pato, Alexis Sanchez, David Silva, Angel Di Maria, Ashley Young anyone ?? I would rather sign Ozil, who is younger, better and probably even cheaper. He is German too so we won't lose our German fanbase now that ballack is leaving.
