I've noticed it's usually a few Belgium posters that slag off players to prop up their compatriots.
-
There are tons of good posters on this forum but there are a few clueless/spoilt ones that clearly only started watching football recently. Constantly talk down our own players and lick the arses of ones elsewhere.
-
No he didn't. Someone 6'4 and as technically gifted as Matic never should have been sold so soon. Wasnt given anywhere enough time to prove himself here. And people want Hummels here? LOOOOOOOLLLL He's just as error prone as Luiz is and he lacks the athleticism Luiz has. What would be the point? We're simply not a selling club under Roman. What's the point of selling your best players regardless of the offer when you have almost unlimited money? We're not paying above £30m for Rooney simply because he's not worth that much not because we can't afford him.
-
Are you a cretin? Since when has money been a factor for us? We're not a selling club.
-
If he were on less than £150k p/w and went for £25m-£30m then yes, it would be a decent transfer but that won't be the case. If we're not high on our current options at CF we should have just went for Falcao/Cavani while we still had the chance because if you add wages they would be worth way less while still in their prime and being much better fits.
-
Mou also wanted Quaresma, Boulahrouz, Adebayor and a broken down Essien. He's fallible just like any other human being.Let Emenalo deal with transfer dealings he's done a remarkable job these past couple of years.
-
Fuck this cunt, if he wanted to leave he would submit a transfer request. Just looking for another pay day. £40m+ for someone who is earning £250k p/w, has been on a downward spiral these past couple of years, apparently wants out according to hacks and has only 2/3 years left at a high level. We would be a disgrace to pay that amount, there's a reason no other club is the least bit interested in him. Lukaku has the potential to become a beast with patience. I'd rather stick with him.
-
He's a one trick pony, Good player but the way people talk about him you'd think he was Iniesta or Zidane MK2 or something. He couldn't even get into Arsenal's team, he was dropped for their best run of the season but he'd 'walk' into ours? Bore off lad. It may seem like I'm hating but I'm just wondering out loud why an attacking midfielder who can't score nor create gets as much hype as he does to the point where its almost blasphemous to mention a similar type player with him. Like Pep said a couple of years ago, there are dozens of players like Wilshere in Spanish academies. Eriksen, De Bruyne, Oscar, Thiago, Gotze, Kroos, Muller, Gundogan, Illaramendi, Isco, Verratti etc so many talented young midfielders out there that are better than Jack.
-
Wilshere is massively overrated and has been living off an overhyped performance nearly 3 seasons ago. What exactly has he done in his career so far? His vision is average, he can't dictate play like Gundogan or Thiago, his passing technique is painfully mediocre, he lacks trickery and he doesn't score goals at all. Not sure what the fuss is about. I'd take Ramsey over him, he does everything Wilshere better apart from the burst of pace past players.
-
A very limited player. Do not want.
-
What does all of that have to do with talent? In terms of development Wilshere is clearly ahead of Josh but they're still a wash when it comes to overall ability.Wilshere fanboys lol. His team played BETTER without him last year. Oscar, De Bruyne, Mata > Wilshere. So overrated.
-
In terms of vision, creativity and overall passing he's a level above Wilshere but he doesn't have the ability to go past players and pure aggression that Jack does. I'd say they're pretty even in terms of talent with a few glaring flaws.
-
If he's guaranteed at least 15-20 games this year I'd rather he'd stay here. Last two loan spells have been complete disasters. He'd only fit in a specific position and the majority of clubs here don't play that type of player, they'd prefer a more athletic B2B type. He's been used as a LW or AM. Never once in the pivot. Should have loaned him to Wigan when we had the chance a couple of seasons ago.
-
He's simply not a goalscorer IMO. He's more of a Ribery type player.
-
I've been hard on him and I know its only against a team of scrubs but he probably played the pivot today better than any other player we've tried there in a long time. Great performance. His defending isn't even his biggest flaw it's his consistency and passiveness. Thiago, Scholes, Verratti, Pirlo, Modric, Pizarro etc none of these players are even average defenders but are the cream of the crop in that particular position.

Bundesliga is a joke outside 3/4 teams. Compared to the quality of the PL anyway.
-
Oscar won the most tackles at the Confederations Cup and still had the stamina to press Xavi/Iniesta/Busquts going into his 80+ game of the season only just last month. Think that shows how much of athlete he is. Rival fans have this common misconception of him being a poor defender but I'm shocked one of our own fans would spew that nonsense to prop out KDB. His stamina, workrate and defending in general is light years ahead of any player at the club even Ramires. As great as KDB is has he ever been given a task of pressing/harassing the likes of Xavi, Pirlo, Arteta and Busquets and doing so with admirable effciency?
-
For the idiots using Oscar's stats against him did you take into account the fact that he's the third wheel at the club and was forced to play out of position for 3/4th's of it? His 5 CL goals 5 starts and him outplaying every other player aside from Neymar on the Brazil NT shows how devestating he can be when the team is built around him.
-
Loooooolooolllllllllllll Who's going to be the one to destroy this post? So much wrong with it.
-
Oscar just dominated Xavi and Iniesta in an international final. Yeah KDB is more direct and creative but Oscar is still the better overall talent. He's definitely a better option than Oscar out wide though.
-
Injuries derailed Marin's start here.
-
I can say with 100% certainty Traore won't make it here. Poor football IQ and workrate.
-
Class ball by KDB rubbish finish.
-
Wallace might challenge Azpi for a place this season. Looks quality.
