It would be typical for Sanchez to pick up form today of all days. I guess we're in for another season of Ivanovic starting all 38 games. Oh well, Ivanovic should be no excuse for Chelsea's right side to exposed yet again. If it happens again, only Mourinho is to blame. Why bother when we have Action Man Ramires representing Chelsea blue. Zouma on the right, Azpi on the right with either Baba, Djilo on the left. President Kenedy even. Anyone but Ivanovic. I'm sure he'll improve with time but the man is playing with a Pass Me sign on his back at the moment. The need to eventually replace him has been evident for years. It's not one manager though. It's three. Even at youth level, Oscar was favoured (remember the Olympics and that youth tournament that made Oscar known on a wider scale, scoring a hattrick in the final). Guardiola values functional and team players as well.

That would be fantastic. Arsenal knocked out in the last 16 in the Europa League in 17/18. I think Claude would go to Arsene's office and shoot him with a shotgun if that happened.

It's definitely not this year. We'd know beforehand if the PL lost a ticket. I read it could happen in 17/18 if I'm not mistaken. Race for top 3 would be fun.

Who cares if England loses a spot? I only care about Chelsea. Wouldn't mind the PL losing a spot at all. The meltdowns if it happens, and the drama for a top three finish would make for great entertainment.

If not Baba, I'd rather play Djilo on the left in a defensive role instead of playing Ivanovic. Ivanovic is a target, and he's extremely hard to miss.

He's been at Chelsea for over a year but he's played so little we've barely seen him utilise his very impressive speed. I basically forgot he's a bit of a speedster. I don't understand why that weapon isn't used more.
