Yo, Bakayoko is Torres in midfield. Matic upgrade... I knew partnering him with Kante was a bad idea. Chelsea just buy players at random and it pisses me off.
-
Hmm, I'll need to actually see that to believe it.
-
It's always extremes. Last season he was this god, exhalted above all other managers and capable of turning crap into gold. People actually wanted the club to buy average/decent players and all kinds of 'experiments' because Conte would do his abracadabra ting and take them to higher levels. And you're a fool if you think otherwise. Now he's a fraud, unmotivated, needs to go bla, bla, bla. The same thing over and over again. It's the damnedest thing.
-
This would hurt my soul.
-
I have no opinion. It's all about pro game exploits for me. I just hope Chelsea fans aren't going down that dark road again when it comes to a youngster. I've heard about a lot of young superstars the past ten years. And it took ten years for one youngman (Christensen) to finally fulfill the prophecy that was projected onto him.

The answer to Chelsea's trials and tribulations.
-
Oh dear...
-
I'm not excusing that at all. But I guess I've become desensitised to all this. We've gone through these bizarre seasons under other managers. It was the same with Ancelotti and Mourinho. Basically anyone who lasts more than a season. It seems to be the Chelsea way.
-
They're second in the league though (and have only lost once, drawing against Real, Barca and Valencia). They're not as good as they once were but I wouldn't call them shit. They're still tough to beat.
-
I'd be more worried if wasn't for Chelsea's strange tendency to bounce back from negative displays. What bothers me the most is the tedious football we've been exposed to for much of the season.
-
Freak game then. Same goes for the Atleti game.
-
I'm referring to the grand scheme of things. This freak result hurts but Chelsea's points total does not decrease after a spanking by the hands of the almighty Bournemouthe. A top four challenging squad is currently in the top four.
-
You're right but these freak results do happen. Both positive and negative. Completely outplaying Atletico was an example of a positive freak result.
-
Why sack Conte? Two seasons he's been given a squad that should challenge for a top four spot. In his first season he performed miracles and bossed the league. In the current season he's challenging for a top 4 spot. If you want better results, assemble a better squad.
-
Cahill, Rudiger, Bakayoko, Zappacosta, Barkley... Goodness gracious. Alonso and Cesc are heavily flawed as well. Such poor squad management.
-
Yup
-
So sad. Chels don't rate technique and creativity enough.
-
I'm not denying that. But that could've happened to prime Terry. That's the downside of slow players. I don't rate Cahill. Never have. If it was up to me he would've been a sub from day one. I just don't rate Rudiger above him. It's not hard to understand.
-
Gary's not my guy. Bakayoko is definitely your guy, haha. You've got some defending ahead of you on this forum.
-
That's what you get for unadventurous football. Pfff
-
I guess I am, Babs
-
I honestly don't see what you see in Rudiger. In the biggest games Cahill gets picked above Rudiger and I get it. It's not like he's a class above him but I trust his positonal sense, concentration and communication skills over Rudiger's. Luiz has never been an option on the side.
-
Cahill's the better defender and I've been a Cahill critic from day one. I see why Conte picks Cahill over Rudiger.
-
It's been an exhibition match defensively. All the time in the world on the ball as well. Don't have anything to say about the defenders because of it.
-
Cahill is better than Rudiger.
