  1. Doesn't that look a bit better . *Arjen Robben out since WC
  2. The Reserves and England national team players are his team mates too .
  3. Happy B-Day John. I bet not a single man will visit him with their girlfriend/wive.
  4. Samuel Eto'o 2010/2011: 10 goals in 13 league games 7 goals in 4 CL matches
  5. Before you react, remember this award is based on 2010. So only the second half of the 2009/2010 season + the first half of the 2010/2011 counts. If Diego Forlan wasn't in such poor form this season, i would have said he deserves to be in the final three. And if it wasn't for Real Madrid not winning a thing, Ronaldo could've made the cut too. But i can't say one of those three players (absolutely) doesn't deserve to be in the final three. Pep Guardiola doesn't deserve to up there. Louis van Gaal should've been in the final three since his team won the double and made Champions League Final.
  6. Uhm i think it's CAF that rules over this award.
  7. It still remains to be seen if he will do better than he did in that incredible 08/09 season. He was without a doubt the best striker around then.
  8. Ibrahimovic + Italian football = Greatness.
  9. The fact that nobody off the ball moves (intelligently) is a bigger problem and doesn't help those, like you mentioned, need time to pick a good pass at all. If our attacking players move the same way they did today against Tottenham, Frank won't be able to do a thing (when it comes to passing). That area really needs to be sorted out together with the slow starts, which didn't happen today and absolutely can't at White Hart Lane.
  10. Expecting all our problems will just disappear when Lampard returns is unrealistic and unfair. Your expecting too much from him and overrating his quality and influence. Frank is good, very good but he can't perform miracles. And i'm not even talking about the fact that he's been out for months and that he wasn't in great form before the injury. If we beat them with Frank in the side, it's not just because he's back. (Unless he scores a hattrick )
  11. Stat of the year: Lionel Messi has scored 69 goals in 69 matches in the year 2010. That's just unfair.
  12. Even if that was true, it's unacceptable for a topside to rely so much on one player.
  13. Yeah i remember him saying that. Our coaches are under immense pressure. More and more am i starting to believe Carlo never wanted to go into the season with this squad but it was Roman who wanted to cut back. Carlo hardly uses the young players but he was the one who stated he trusts them and that they were ready.
  14. Very poor second half. It almost looked as if the players settled for a one goal lead. Everton dominated the second half and made us look like a midtable-side playing a away game. I don't like to single out people but this draw really is CA's fault. It all started at taking off Anelka for Ramires. Why would you take of a attacker for a midfielder when you're defending a one goal lead against a side that always gives troubles your side and with the defensive problems the team's had? Horrible decision. And than he took off Bosingwa for Paulo. Also a horrible decision. Every Everton attack came down that left side (our right side). And even though Paulo really tries, everybody knows it's very easy to get past him. Everton dangerous left wing + Paulo Fereirra = Chelsea headaches. Baines went past him as if he wasn't even there and Everton scored. I've already stated many times CA ''subbing'' pretty much sucks and cost us 2 points.
  15. Mixed feelings about our first half for me. Good possession and good pressure when Everton had the ball but we weren't creating enough (real) chances. Our only real chances came from set-pieces, Terry attempt and Kalou header. Everton was defending well. Lucky to get the penalty (Anelka tapped the ball too far and just ran into him) but i'm not complaining. It's been ages since we haven't started a game too slow or crappy so huge improvement. The off the ball movement needs to improve though. The options for a player on the ball to pass too is incredibly low. So we need more movement and need to keep on the pressure. If we do that, we'll win. Good to have Terry back. Am I the only one thinks Ivan and JT are football-twins? They're so much a like. That triple tackle by Ivan was amazing and funny at the same time. So much determination, it's driving the Everton players crazy
  16. Has it come so far that we consider 26 as very young
  17. Correction, José Bosingwa is our fastest player and Sturridge might also be faster than him .
  18. Exactamundo. Anelka should get it through his thick and shiny head that he's a striker and a pretty good one too. But like Kostas said somewhere, he has become allergic to the box. Real shame since he's a great poacher and cool finisher.
  19. Even Adidas would say that's impossible.
  20. Well at least some good news but the Frank thing is killing me.
