  1. 1. United 2. City 3. Chelsea 4. Arsenal 18. Reading 19. Wigan 20. Norwich
  2. I find this a bit arbitrary to be honest. Can't we just let people say what they want and be as annoying as they please? It's not like they pose any threat to the forum or anything.
  3. So excited to start my pension plan though I've had people tell me I look like 14 or 15 still.
  4. I took a bus to come home today, and there was a little plate on the wall that had a list of rules on the bus. Apparently, swearing is prohibited. What the hell?
  5. You're not thinking about the tactical aspects of the game. We'll get screwed if we line Hazard, Mata and Hulk together because we'll get a hugely polarized formation: the front four will attack only and the back six will struggle to support them because there will be a big gap between them. That's why we need Ramires to play on the right and make sure there isn't too much gap. And Ramires has made some very important contribution as a winger this season. If I'm not mistaken, he played both matches against Barcelona as a winger and against Liverpool in FA Cup final as well. I'm sure he can make that position his if he keeps on playing there and gets used to it. And, I think we'd be better off if we'd invested on Mikel's new partner than on another winger.
  6. We've got Ramires, who's probably a better option than Hulk.
  7. If all this is because Torres can't score, why don't we just sign an actual striker? Assuming that we'll have Mata, Hazard and Marin next season, it seems pretty silly that we should sign Hulk instead of Falcao or Cavani because he is a winger who can play as a striker.
  8. We lack quality, though. The only player in that list who deserves to start regularly as a defensive midfielder is Mikel. We need to find a formidable partner for Mikel, and that's certainly more urgent than bringing in a new winger or a forward.
  9. I think he actually has a better chance of making it now that we're using a 4-2-3-1. He's the sort of player we need playing alongside Mikel. It's a bit of a weak spot for us at the moment since we only have Lampard and Meireles who can pair up with him, and Meireles can't pass at all. I don't think he's good enough to fill that spot yet, but if he goes on loan and makes some decent progress, he might be able to do that in a couple years.
  10. He wouldn't make a bad fullback, but we need him to play on the wing to maintain the balance. I mean this here is extremely unstable: ---------------Torres---------- Hazard-------Mata--------Hulk --------------------------------- --------------------------------- --------------------------------- ---------Mikel----Ramires--- Whereas, this: ------------------Torres-------------- Hazard----------Mata--------------- ---------------------------------------- ------------------------------Ramires ---------------------------------------- ---------Mikel-----Lampard-------- ...looks much better to me.
  11. My thoughts exactly. If we're to employ a 4-2-3-1 with three attacking minded midfielders, we'll have a huge gap between our defense and our attack. It may not be such a big problem against smaller sides, but certainly against bigger sides we'll need Ramires to cover that gap as a wide midfielder. And there's the issue of team chemistry.
  12. What's there to be ashamed of?
  13. No, you wouldn't. I bet you can't honestly tell anyone you had more fun seeing us lose 5-3 to Arsenal than you did seeing us grind out a win at Munich. And I'm pretty sure our win per game ratio under Di Matteo with his frustrating tactic was much higher than that under AVB with his sexy football. Besides, anything to piss off that prick Johann Cruyff.
  14. Fuuuuuuuuuuuckkkkk I was hoping I could go to the Seattle game, but I just checked my schedule and I'm coming back to Vancouver from Korea the day before the game.
  15. I'm getting goosebumps rewatching penalties from yesterday. Just how on earth did Cech save Schweinsteiger's penalty, I wonder? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCjXgL2W634&feature=related
  16. Lol, why is this topic rated so low. By the way, I remember there was a topic before this, I think it was around when the season started, and someone else was saying we'd win the CL because Liverpool won it when they were shit or something like that.
  17. Drogba penalty! Actually, that made me cry. I smiled when I saw Roman lift the cup and smiled even more when I realized we managed to push Tottenham out of CL.
  18. He is an outstanding actor, though. The main character in the greatest drama ever.
  19. I burst into tears as soon as Drogba tucked it home. Didn't even scream or anything. Unbelievable. Hope it's not a dream. As for Munich, heartbreaking stuff. I hope Robben and Schweinsteiger will win one day, too.
