  1. In that case he could have tried the same with Kakuta instead of putting him on the wing when he's neither fast nor strong enough to play there.
  2. When browsing with my phone the usual skin comes up and it takes an eternity to load full avatars, all icons etc. I've seen similar skins to the one in this thread on other IPB forums and it worked much better.
  3. Of course they accepted our offer, 3m with just 6months on his contract? Who wouldn't?
  4. Of course not. Apart from the 3 -vital for the CL spot- points and the winning mentality that BlueLion mentioned our performance wasn't any better than our previous our home* performances during our "bad moment". *Anyone comparing the Blackburn game to Wolves, Arse or Newcastle is wasting his time, under Ancelotti Chelsea are a mostly a completely different team away from home.
  5. We've already got one advanced Playmaker roting on the bench, can't complain with McEachran not being in his position.
  6. Any chance of adapting it for Opera Mobile?
  7. Chelsea boss insists 'bad moment' is over Anyone with half a brain has already stopped believing what he says. He isn't even reliable for injuries !
  8. :goodpost:The fact that he claims that our "bad moment" is over doesn't exactly fill me with confidence either. We're not farking AC Milan. We need a new Kaka and maybe a new Inzaghi but not a new Pirlo. Doubt it, but it's good that we don't have delusion about CA trying to avoid putting pressure on the young lad.
  9. I thought this was worth highlighting.Ancelotti has a pecking order in his head which probably goes like this: DrogbaMaloudaAnelkaKalouFerreiraFerreiraFerreiraSturridgeFerreiraKakuta Zhirkov? So unless a player is physically incapable of playing (form, fitness don't matter) he'll keep his position.
  10. 15/1/11 No doubt about it. However let's unite our voices
  11. If you wanted to be smart about it you'd know that I haven't posted a single thing on Ramires' ability or performances. I didn't slate him like a spaz and I'm not going to crown him every single time he outperforms our other proven midfielders. Some of the criticism he received when he was adapting was fair and the fact that he has improved tremendously doesn't invalidate it.
  12. Pardon my French but.. ABOUT FUCKING TIME It looked like we finally trained taking them and it won us a game. Can't resist adding that our barren run was ended by Kakuta's corner
  13. Same old same old Just when we were getting naive.
  14. In no particular order. Can't pick just one.
  15. The thing is..even the "he tries" argument is flawed as I've had the same discussion on a couple of boards about the Greek team that I support. To cut a long story short, the least you expect from a player who plays for the club you love is determination and commitment. However when a player tries and IMO consistently fails you shouldn't and won't blame him, all the blame should be laid on the people who brought him to the club and in our case also those who extended his contract. Notice how I didn't bring other players' (current) commitment or ability into the discussion as : It is irrelevant to our opinion of a player who has been here for 4-5 yearsI personally don't agree with your view (surprise surprise ) that our players aren't trying at the moment. That's the simplistic way of looking at things and I think I've tried numerous times to break his so-called good statistics down. That's like saying that we won the league only due to scoring 103 goals (disregarding that 29 of them came in just 4 games) and ignoring our tremendous home record and our double against the traditional top 4
  16. Good points and I would have considered them when we signed Benayoun.Now.. just no. While I still believe that our bench is weak buying Pienaar would be step back especially after our transfers during the summer. Hell we might as well have kept Cole + Benayoun if we're so desperate for mediocre midfield choices. After the summer clear-out I firmly believe that we should emphasize on finding suitable replacements for our starters and not our benchwarmers. Didier Drogba - 32Frank Lampard - 32Nicolas Anelka - 31Florent Malouda - 30
  17. Apologies for the double post This is a problem which came to surface only in the last 3-4 months and will go away once we stop underperforming. In the past most pro-Kalou fans only mentioned the fact that he tries or that he's still young and has time on his side (like ChelseaChick did, although the Drogba comparison is laughable) which I think even a moderate Kalou supporter like yourself have given up on.
