Jim, is there any feature other than search that could be sacrificed during games when the forum switches to a light mode?

I seriously don't see why criticizing one country's wrongdoings is perceived as taking sides or being blind to your own country's methods. I didn't follow this thread mostly due to its name (either naive or blatantly false IMHO) but since I picked up today from page 2 I've almost run out of rep points due to how surprisingly decent and levelminded a political discussion on a football forum is.

As a matter of fact, I finally noticed after the Newcastle and Valencia games how/why he can be of more use than Mikel when it comes to defending. The amount of tackles he makes and 50-50s he wins due to his speed and his persistence win us the ball more often and more importantly much quicker than Mikel's interceptions.

Indeed. One-footedness and being greedy are still his main problems but he has improved in both since first playing for us.

Sturridge has the ability to use his pace in tight areas but I'd say it's Ramires' speed that contributes the most to our play. I'm actually worried about other midfielders finding him out as for the moment both he and Luiz often glide past opposition players without much trouble and unlike Luiz Rami doesn't have the technique to dribble players who mark him tight.
