  1. Wants the team to be defensive as well as offensive, but Baba isn't cutting it defensively. I reckon some of what was actually said was lost in translation.
  2. i think twitter rumours are all nonsense at the moment. we are quiet and it's a good sign. we have gone about our current signings in this window with relative quietness. we shall see, but i doubt very much that the board and conte have not planned on bringing in one defender or more.
  3. He was probably one of the best centre mids last season performance wise. He could well be a useful squad member.
  4. don't know much about him, but from what i read he is a talented player. seems like there is a new wave of brazilian talent finally coming through again?
  5. The guy wasn't exactly keen to come here in the first place, so it's no surprise he hasn't settled and there's been constant talk of him being unsettled. He is one of those primadonna south american players like tevez, veron who refuses to learn the language, settle into the culture because of their stubborn attitude etc. It is very unprofessional if you ask me, and every player at this level should man up and say no if they don't want the move like Nainggolan did.
  6. Honestly would have kept this lad back and used him in the squad or first team sporadically. A loan spell is great n all, but he is by far one of the best technical players we have at the club.
  7. Dude is a fucking baby and doesn't act his age. He should be grateful for the life he lives as a footballer instead of whining he can't go back to Madrid. Really winds me up how some of these players go on. You know what us mere mortals do when we don't particularly like our place of work? Stick it out until the opportunity arises to go somewhere else, not bitch and moan about how we want to leave all the time to anyone who is willing to listen. In the mean time, he should put his damn head down, get fit again and try helping us as a team in the league if he's still "stuck" here. Tosser.
  8. They ain't got nothing to play for as they are 3 up
  9. We've created more chances this half with 5 at the back lol
  10. It's times like these I wish we never got rid of De Bruyne. Could have done with that creativity.
  11. ref blows up at slightest touch, very annoying.
  12. Heard and not seen, and not a headless chicken.
  13. Where's their yellow ref?! Taking out Traore constantly and nothing!
  14. Jennifer Aniston? You can do better than that
  15. Come on bit of positivity on here for a change. It's negative on here right now.
  16. We lost to fecking NY Bulls last pre-season, we've certainly performed much better this pre-season. One result doesn't constitute having hissy bits and stressing. I was getting riled up earlier watching it, but now if we think logically it's unnecessary to worry ourselves about this result. We are experimenting a lot at the moment, so just give it time.
  17. We've had 3 seasons of playing a particular style, so it's obviously going to take some time to fully adapt to Conte's ideas. Also, we are playing a mix of players who've never played with each other, so there's a lot of gelling needs to be done. Madrid have a stable management at the moment with Zidane, and their players are familiar with one another. We do have to look at ourselves for the performance, but we were playing well until they got a jammy goal and then the tide turned. It happens, so no point worrying obsessively over one meaningless match against Real Madrid.
  18. Well thinking about it, pre-season means nothing. The results need to come in the league. No point stressing over this match.
  19. God this is depressing. I know it's pre-season, but still painful to watch considering we expect some kind of result.
