  1. Agree with this, we have 4 up and coming potentially world class CBs, don't need another. Get that already very very good CB and a FB and we'll be fine.
  2. I believe you, I know how it was. Fact is, back then, I didn't, I still don't, believe they didn't give a shit about the club. I still wouldn't label them prima donnas. Was it right what they did? No, it wasn't, the manager is the manager, fact is few months later they were proven right and the proved themselves to be, once again, winners. This current bunch has a lot more to prove than our 2012 team had at the time of AVB's sacking. Before joining this forum I registered there. I quickly regretted that decision I mean sometimes it's shocking the stuff I read on here, over there it's even worse. Although I think posters do respect each other more on the other platform and there is less "popular folk tales" being told around, couldn't accurately say as I haven't been enough there. Once I made the mistake to read waghn comment section. That gave me brain fungi.
  3. http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2016/7/21/12247296/bertrand-traore-preseason-diego-costa-chelsea-fc-interview
  4. I can see a trend with the prima donnas, self entitled players tbh.
  5. Tomo, I mean no offence, truly. But sometimes you wind me up when you compare this current bunch with the 2012 bunch. It's day and night. Those players had given their all for the club up to that moment, and when all was said and done they practically self-managed themselves to a CL win. A CL win. Up to now this current crop did win 2 titles exclusively because of José's much hated tactics, then they shamelessly gave up and didn't even try when things weren't going their way. It's day and night.
  6. I can agree with this, it wasn't such a nice gesture towards the fan.
  7. Weird how no one ever mentioned how he has Chelsea's pictures in his office. But then "1 generation of success." OMG! A dig at Chelsea. Pretty damn pathetic. I mean the guy has had a hand, direct and indirect, in every trophy Chelsea won in the last decade and yet this is the treatment he gets for 6 bad months with a team of (mostly) spoiled brats.
  8. People overreacting as usual The funny thing is, I wouldn't even know what he says or does of "outrageous" until people post it here. That's pretty weird. We'll get to the point where he'll say "cheese", and on the "news" sites, "José Mourinho purposefully mispronounce Chelsea in dig at ex-club"
  9. Lol, I hinted at this yesterday No one seems to listen to me about those defenders though, come on Chelsea stop trolling me
  10. Courtois Azpi-Varane-Rodriguez Matic Pogba-Kanté Reus Bale-Costa-Hazard All happening this window. Welcome to the future b*tches.
  11. That corner yesterday was shocking. The Austrian dude alone in the midst of our box, I wanted to cry.
  12. Not being a prima donna? Not disappearing against any half decent opponent? His world class movements? Leads the line expertly? You might not see it but his "antics" often reinvigorate the whole team. Not being a pampered child who won't fight for his place? Wouldn't want him in my team for 20 mil, let alone 60.
  13. Apparently Juventus is hours/days away from signing Pjaca. Watch him become the next great Croatian footballer.
  14. "Before the game I asked my players that after a week of strong work, physically and tactically, I wanted to see the improvement in our idea of football. I received a good answer. I know we can improve, I know we must improve, but we are at the beginning of the season. We are working very hard. Every day we have two very hard training sessions." "I saw a lot of good things today and also situations we can improve. That's normal. It was nice to win, it's important to have this habit for everyone's mentality despite many players being very tired after the training sessions. I'm also happy because I saw a good attitude."
  15. Two of my favourite managers going at it Happy days.
  16. And so he should be. He has everything to prove yet, if he wants to break into the team he has to do this and more.
  17. Would be pretty ironic if he ended up a striker after people, including me, argued about his best position in midfield. b2b, #10, cdm; nope! Striker.
  18. What I'd like the most is to focus our efforts for now to get at least a CB and LB, strikers can wait. I'm implying this, of course, basing myself on the latest rumours; It could very well be that the club is minutes away from signing a defender.
  19. Are you didierforever in disguise? Calm down dude, there is no need to be so exasperated, you don't have to prove yourself to anyone. Leaving the psychopath aside, I also think Diego could be on his way out if we bid this kind of money for Lukaku (?!!!) Which would make me pretty damn sad; I'd take Diego 10 times out of 10 over a pampered child who wants to be given his starting spot instead of earning it, not to mention his shocking lack of basics. Who would I take instead of this spoiled brat? Depends on what we're looking for. If it's to replace Diego, then we could go for Cavani, try, albeit unlikely to come off, Aubamenyag, Lacazzette. If it's to partner up with Diego, any of those three and Embolo, maybe Fekir. For this amount of money I'd take Morata over this donkey 10 times out of 10.
  20. Hopefully you and me will be proved terribly wrong in being a little reluctant about him.
  21. Vintage Chelsea, bringing my mood down after a good match. Hope the Dimarzio guy got drunk or something or got one of his days off.
  22. The highlight of the match for me was Ivanovic subbed. Like releasing a few years of suppressed anger and misery.
  23. That's more like it. Like seeing an old friend one might say.
  24. First goal of the Conte era scored by Traoré. That suits me just fine That's frigging awesome.
