comparing is still totally irrelevant. We do our own deals and to say sounds about right is pointless. Man City being the prime example....Utd much bigger but City getting bigger deals. If we get more than Utd on certain deals are you going to turn around and say....nah, thats not right. I doubt it
-
wonder if city and utd will have to reduce theirs to conform......Everton, Palace, Liverpool all to small then. Will it become mandatory?
-
too narrow...only the pitch at West Ham is as narrow as that. Maybe they meant 68-69 metres or 75 yards
-
Rubbish. The pitch isnt exactly the smallest in the prem anyway...think that honour belongs to West Ham or Tottenham
-
Benches, benches gis us a song
-
Revenue versus a metre here and there.
-
We were never seriously in contention for Battersea.

The Gazprom Cathedral at Stamford Bridge ;-)

the detailing inside has yet to be discussed at length and finalised

its a matter of taste, but I like the fact we are going for London brick and not a bowl made out of concrete, metal and glass http://www.cityam.com/229988/chelseas-new-stadium-in-pictures-500m-stamford-development-to-boast-60000-capacity

yup.....hopefully it will go through with no objections in January. Ongoing process with minor changes and finer details. Hopefully start work with the stuff over the railtracks next summer and we move out season 2017.
-
thats the spirit !! look forward to you trying to put a positive spin on things from now on then ;-)

havent tasted either....but beans of both arriving soon to be freshly ground on Christmas day.Was hoping a connoisseur might tell me which is the more mild or correct choice after a 'turkey' dinner and spicy rich pudding
-
it will get so far, then another reason to restart it again will crop up ;-)
-
Jamaican Blue Mountain or Hawaiian Kona after Christmas dinner. Cannot make up my mind which one to put on the family menu
-
he had some bad moments in the match yesterday but also had some very good ones and worked very hard ....seemed to cover a lot of ground. Wish he could be more consistant with the better moments

hmmm...see the 'bib' malarkey has been blown all out of proportion. From him laughing with Mikel dropping it over his shoulder, it has turned into he threw the thing at the manager. And as for the 'warm ups'...the manager did say that him and his staff controlled that and Costa did what was asked of him. Some other subs were also missing from pre match warm up. Lots of mountains being made out of molehills here and even though Costa ain't no angel.....there seems to be a lot of buying into the media BS by jump on the bandwagon merchants on here. No one except Chelsea staff knows what intentionally happened ref bib and missing warm up.....so until known facts come out, am afraid I will have to go by what the manager has said about Costa about the incidents...because at the moment, there is nothing else to go on
-
They should be worried about Christmas first
-
Just love it when fans have an opinion just based on stats without seeing the whole picture. We were far from being very negative and looked better in possession than we did earlier in the season
-
Like I said......and just to repeat so you get it......The points about the match I agree with. Not bothered about other stuff in there

Taken from another Chelsea forum by regular match going supporter with a view that many match going supporters had today. "Time to shut the tvvats who moan. I was in the away end today without the need of a commentator to tell me what to think. Chelsea were the superior side even without a recognised striker up front. The attacking midfield worked their balls off and our defence was solid. Spuds could only stop us by fouling the granny out of us when in promising attacking positions. That is the most dangerous we have looked against alleged title contenders (sic) after players two sides I wouldn't wipe my behind with. One of whom drew against the flawless Arse today. Two elbows in quick succession agst our players in the second half... And then a Spuds player moans cos one of his shoes fell off. We were happy to take a point with 10 minutes to go. Pedro, Willian, Hazard and Oscar look a great combo up front. Fabregas did more shoite than good, but his good stuff was defence-splitting. Now go and watch a match live... Go to Kiev... Go to Tel Aviv... And stop regurgitating the usual stuff that so many schadenfreude-loving "neutrals" love to hear." Points made about the match I agree with
-
waiting for endless tv loops on Kane crimes and the retrospective ban ;-)
-
decent player but should have been red carded today
-
might have actually suited Remy today....shame he wasnt available.Failing that, there is a striker breaking PL records who thrives on counter attacking that could have his head turned
-
great tactics and the lads played well for Mourinho today. Different formation at times ........seemed to keep reverting to a 442 when we had the ball. Spurs were at a loss today and didnt seem ready with our changes considering they were hot favourites and most of their attempts ended up being long shots. In the end we were very comfortable and a couple more efforts on goal would have capped a fine effort from the lads. No bus parking from us today..
