no competition should hold more value than your own country's league. Of course some European, American, Asian leagues are not as competitive or prestigious and I can understand Chelsea fans or indeed any European clubs fans from those shores thinking that the CL is the one....but in the main most match going or tv watching supporter in England...the PL is the one to win.....maybe after a hattrick of titles you might turn round and say I want us to win the CL or possibly both. Mourinho and other club managers and boards know this and obviously SKY tv as well

sometimes( more so now than in the past) its just not possible to substain an attack on all fronts. Mourinho would like some sort of winter break and help with fixtures before CL matches like other Euro leagues.

prem league is the bread and butter.....Mourinho and co plus a lot of paying customers would rather that delivered over any Euro trophy most years. By Mourinho and co...I mean Wenger, Liverpool managers, Utd managers etc etc

I dont why they couldnt do what he was asking...but it did look as if each time they took the lead they just tried to cruise to the end and both times nearly made it. Like I said, the league was priority and perhaps this was in players mentality and Mourinho could see the danger signs and tried to snap them out of it. Urm.....in that PSG tie they did score away

how can it be luck?? the matches were won on certain gameplans. Or can we now say that if teams defend deep and with numbers against us and get a draw that it was all down to them being lucky as well

what I can remember is Mourinho on the touchline trying to get the team to press more and the team seemingly just trying to play out a 1-0 and then a 2-1 only to be undone at the end both times.Got the impression that the league was priority and the team were trying to see through the match with minimal effort.......is that Mourinho's fault when he was actively trying to get them to play with more energy?

if it ever went to court , the thing between her and the club is just 'constructive'.....the club didnt sack her and I am sure it will not be about money and more about keeping her name intact.If its true about a separate issue with Mourinho, then it could get messy if her lawyers can prove any discrimination towards her from him. We dont know whats been said to her by Mourinho before this incident and indeed vice versa especially regarding incidents rumoured to have happened. A woman scorned........

I would rather the 'stuff' about the doctor didnt come out in the court rooms. We have all heard the whispers and already know the Swansea match was just the final straw to what had gone on before, but don't you think we have had enough bad publicity already because as sure as eggs are eggs, the media will paint her as the good samaritan in all of this and Jose like some sort of devil dog, even if the rumours have legs and she wasnt as professional as made out upfront.

So now that the press and media realise that the player revolt and the fact he was getting the sack after this or that match was a dead fish in the water.........they have changed their tune slightly to Mourinho is going to get rid of this or that player and will resign etc (hmmm..remarkably like some posters on here actually [emoji12] ) Seems like ..ok, so there is not a player revolt but lets create one ! Then they wonder why he has a pop at them

outside of the club he is managing, why should he rate other opinions ??? But you are speculating if you reckon he doesnt take notice of what anyone says within the club whether its from his daily group meetings/talks with the players through to talking with staff members such as Dr. Paco Biosca or Eddie Newton. Mourinho has never been my favourite person or manager and sometimes he irks me but what is so galling on here is the anti-brigade (and there is a little regular group ) who find great delight in using every little stick to beat him with and repeating the same points over and over again without even bothering to try and find any positives. ( i know at the moment they are few and far between). Then one or two have the audacity to criticise those who physically support the club and/or those who want to see light at the end of the tunnel and the tinted specs might be a bit blue. Constructive criticism is great for debate but a good constructive point which starts on a postive is even better rather than the vile, obnoxious, offensive tirade Mourinho has been subject to on here by cowardly keyboard cowboys. But looking back, I can see no reference to where I have said you shouldnt laugh at Mourinho. Some stuff can be amusing and some really funny.

Replace "play more youth players" with recall loan players deemed better than current youth and give them a shot. Then send out next crop of youth to gain more experience than a higher level of U21

yes.Being so close to the Christmas/New year schedule plus FA Cup 3rd round where a lot of matches played in a short time, there will be tickets available . We have a big support that fly down from Scotland each week and also do our 'northern' aways ( another idea for you to get to a match) Not sure if you have any links with Rangers where you are but it might be worth asking on their forums as well.

None of us mere mortals on the outside know for sure but "reports" are that Mourinho put in his request for certain players and/or certain positions to be filled.It looks as if the board let him down in that respect.....i.e. Stones should have been a straight in 35m bid instead of all the mucking about and posturing which gave Everton time to counter and the media plenty of stories to stick their nose in. Not a fan of the January window but if we do manage to get one or two high profile signings, then the old cliche of 'hitting the ground running' will never be so true as then
