The same attitude that beat Porto would be handy as well mucker FB ;-)
-
think i left mine in the Pensioner beforehand
-
Thats the spirit...nice to see you enjoyed the win
-
Shoot me...he played well bar finishing ( we know thats his bread and butter)... but it was a whole lot better overall with workrate and positioning and was well appreciated by the home support
-
You over analyse and look for mistakes/errors ....they all played quite well...no stand out performance whether good or bad. As close to a complete team performance as we have seen for a few months
-
One of the best players actually.....took their centre backs all over the place
-
Just coming out of ground. Great team performance. Never in danger. Costa played well taking the centre backs all over the place opening up space for others...might have not seen so evident on tv. Outsung Porto all night...didnt hear them. Happy days
-
Yes mate...changed at the same time as EL winner rules. Not sure what happens if EL and CL winner both come from same league but outside top 4...think 4th loses out ...now, that would be bad luck. If anyone can clarify please
-
Thats the spirit
-
then prem league will have 5 teams in champs league
-
Of course....you know how to support the club better at the ground. Most match days there is always a decent level of noise but if you think you can do better, I will personally buy you a match ticket stood next to me and watch you in action. Infact, I would go one better and break a personal rule of using a camera and recording you...to show the rest on talkchelsea what a great fan you are

Welcome to the world of being the underdog ;-)Sooner or later we could have a situation of a "nothing to lose" attitude and actually play more freely #livesinhope

The Chelsea Pensioner from 1700 for those who want a party before the game. Get on their website and register your name. Good music, decent beer prices and pwoppa Chelsea. Looking forward to tonight and the unpredictability of it all.....its what being a supporter is all about
-
Beyond belief...hoping your team loses. Get a grip
-
Perhaps if the club hadn't resorted to bringing in "has beens" such as Eto'o and DD over the seasons, he might have stayed and try to become number 1 rather than being pushed down the pecking order. The irony being is that with injury and suspension problems upfront, he would have got plenty of game time. Not his fault, as he or the club wouldn't have known that....but at the end of the day Lukaku did what was best for Lukaku and chose to leave

very good ;-)Can I apply for the press officer role..... guess you need someone whose glass is half full and takes no nonsense from the negative bunch?
-
if you are referring to me..........ridiculous analogy and where am I defending him?
-
heart on your sleeve mate and glass always half full.....decent qualities to have as a Chelsea supporter.Defending what others have in their "mindsets" as indefensible is always going to be a chore, long winded and difficult. Personally I just prefer to say 'phuck em'. With regards to Mourinho, there are so many media stories out every day with a different take and it is ripe for cherry picking for suiting different agendas. Saying that though, a lot of 'footballing' people rather than your average media hack or online blogger are going along the lines that Mourinho should stay at the club at least till the end of the season. I think this is the most common sense way going forward unless there is a complete breakdown between the board and him in the meantime. As I have said on several ocassions "he ain't my favourite cup of tea" either but as with every manager we have had (bar one who just didnt fit and it felt wrong), I along with the vast majority of supporters will always give our backing and sometimes vocally at matches as well. Don't get get sucked in by the over analytical posts and threads where stats, names, quotes, figures etc etc are bought up over and over again to suit one's debate. And lastly, the only ones worth their salt to debate with are the ones that can display some positivity along with constructive criticism rather than just a tirade of negativity post after post. You support Mourinho the way you want to, but the club, our club Chelsea comes first and foremost

urm head says no. But, you know me...the eternal optimist ;-)
-
yeah...if we gained the same amount of points after 15 games from now till end of season as last season..we will be sitting quite pretty...i.e. with an outside chance of 4th spot = 66 points. Just shows that last years results didnt really tail off that much
-
At the moment, the Willian song is sung more than any one regarding individuals...followed by JT double. Even Fabregas has had his one sang in an attempt to lift his performance like we used to with Torres.
-
wish we had drawn the winners of the tie away...but good luck to the "O's"
-
just got to keep on believing that something will go our way soon keep supporting and keeping the faith. Cmon Chelsea....lets smash Porto and then do leicester for good measure
-
Well that's one way of getting kicked out of the competition. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Papy left out of the CL squad?
-
With a lot of indifferent results ( others as well as us ), I was wondering on others posters views on points required for 1st, 4th and 17th for this season. My opinion is that 1st and 4th could be quite low, possibly even below the PL average unless one or two teams make a big breakaway at the top. Therefore the bubble (17th) could theoretically be slightly higher than the average
