At this point i guess i am placing my hope on RLC, i believe Cesc, Kante, and Jorginho will start as the trio of midfielders. Barkely is the better goal scorer than RLC and better instinct, but RLC is hands down the better midfielder.

Come on Tomo you are better than that. Leicester system was more based on bypassing midfield, passing to the attackers as quick as possible. Sarri system is more deliberate and keeping the ball in midfield attempting to find breakthroughs. Check this sequence, i will look to see more on twitter.

It is really amazing how much Barkley stock went up based on a game against freaking Perth Glory in a friendly game. Barkley and Kante are both runners, Jorginho by himself cannot make that midfield work against decent teams. Even against Perth Glory Barkley really benefited by the fact Cesc help Jorginho in the build up, given Barkley a free role near the box.

Meh i think Monaco development is overrated, they scout and sign a lot of great young players. Keita Balde and Youri Tielemans were hot prospects a year ago, and they didn't really do anything to advance.

My hunch is that he will sign for Chelsea, just seems so typical for our transfers to get stretched out. If he was signing for Monaco this would have been wrapped up already.

Seeing some posts that we don't need him. Yes we do need him, we really need someone with his dribbling ability, close control, and vision in midfield. You know what really doesn't change is that we unjustifiably paid enormous price and risk for a player that has the same question mark as he did before we purchased him. Confidence and mental issue is the same question mark Juventus and Real Madrid had. If somehow Sarri makes him a serviceable striker, we would be quite lucky. Even though Conte was supposed to be the guy who would get the best out of him. One season? This season is preciously what Morata career has been like, some flashes of brilliance and long stretches of inconsistencies. This is who he is unless Sarri works his best work ever. At a reasonable and discount price i would take a punt on him. But for the price being quoted i would clearly pass on him. I feel i am seeing the same argument people made for Morata before we bought him, given proper opportunity that he can be an elite strike. People praised Morata for all of his abilities and attributes. What good did that do when he never put it all together? A year later i am wondering why did we pay a club record fee for a player that best season came as a bench player. I was against Morata signing because i thought it was unjustifiable. And unfortunately I think Morata will get another year, people are going to be disappointed if they think he is going to be binned after one season. I feel i can make the same argument against Martial, despite his abilities i question if he has the mentality to reach elite level. It is unjust to pay a club record fee for a player that has never put it all together and it is struggling for playing time at his current club.

Theo Hernandez will leave Real Madrid, really wanted him last summer. Thought it was a poor move by him to move to Real, and one year he is looking to move on. Immense potential, would love to move for him.
