  1. Not sure if you found it, but here it is. https://www.fullmatchesandshows.com/2018/07/23/perth-glory-vs-chelsea-highlights-full-match/
  2. You know what really doesn't change is that we unjustifiably paid enormous price and risk for a player that has the same question mark as he did before we purchased him. Confidence and mental issue is the same question mark Juventus and Real Madrid had. If somehow Sarri makes him a serviceable striker, we would be quite lucky. Even though Conte was supposed to be the guy who would get the best out of him. One season? This season is preciously what Morata career has been like, some flashes of brilliance and long stretches of inconsistencies. This is who he is unless Sarri works his best work ever. At this point it is extremely wishful to think he comes good, i am rooting for him though. Whether you look to admit it or not Martial career has stagnated. I just watched him today, he looked like a complete scrub against MLS reserves.imo he ruined his body gained a lot of bad muscles, he is a lot slower than he was at Monaco and his PL debut season. Luckily i don't think the club is stupid enough to pay anywhere near United asking price, especially since his best position is where our best player plays at. If it wasn't for Conte we would have never paid the enormous price for Morata either.
  3. At a reasonable and discount price i would take a punt on him. But for the price being quoted i would clearly pass on him. I feel i am seeing the same argument people made for Morata before we bought him, given proper opportunity that he can be an elite strike. People praised Morata for all of his abilities and attributes. What good did that do when he never put it all together? A year later i am wondering why did we pay a club record fee for a player that best season came as a bench player. I was against Morata signing because i thought it was unjustifiable. And unfortunately I think Morata will get another year, people are going to be disappointed if they think he is going to be binned after one season. I feel i can make the same argument against Martial, despite his abilities i question if he has the mentality to reach elite level. It is unjust to pay a club record fee for a player that has never put it all together and it is struggling for playing time at his current club.
  4. Still too much for a guy who has underperformed and bench player.
  5. Way too much for a player with one year left on his contract. I would take the Barcelona money. so basically 70m+ for Martial.
  6. Sell before Barca realize their stupidity. Soon to be 30 and easily replaceable. The two years we won the PL he played a minimal role, and his best football came in two of the most disappointing seasons in Chelsea history.
  7. Just hoping it is a tactic, knowing the other club are willing to up their price.
  8. i am confident we will land Golovin. Both RLC and Cesc fit Sarri system, what makes you say they don't? Willian must be sold, it is incredible money for a soon 30 year old and quite frankly easily replaceable.
  9. Theo Hernandez will leave Real Madrid, really wanted him last summer. Thought it was a poor move by him to move to Real, and one year he is looking to move on. Immense potential, would love to move for him.
  10. Feel the same, he is a great keeper and should be thanked for his contributions to Chelsea, especially the 2 PL titles. Yeah at the end of the day i am glad he is gone, i guess good luck to him at Madrid.
  11. I don't think CL is a big deal, as long as believes Chelsea project. If he believes Chelsea will have more success than Liverpool then that factor will favor us. He is signing on a long term basis, i am sure he will not pick Liverpool because they play in CL this season and Chelsea doesn't.
  12. He was Real Madrid first choice, and clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool are willing to pay extra extraordinary price for him.
  13. Why does RLC needs to go on loan? He is better option than Barkley, Drinkwater, and Mehyoko. RLC is not going to play in every game at the club, no youth will ever make at any big club with that entitlement mentality. He needs to come in with the same mentality as Christensen, earn his playing time. And that is the only way you will ever make it at Chelsea, and that goes for every youth. I strongly believe in Golovin, but at the end of the day he is coming from the Russian league. RLC has experience in the league, if he believes he belongs at a club like Chelsea than he should have no qualms with competing.
  14. https://twitter.com/Esp_Interativo/status/1018978496566177793 Apparently we are close to offering 45m, anyone know anything about him? And the credibility of the source?
  15. A midfield of Kante-Jorginho-Golovin would give us the most balanced midfield in the PL, and also imo the best in the league. Have to get this done.
  16. For me Hazard is a model of professionalism, these athletes get interviewed tons. Some fabricated by reporters and some fun by the athletes. It is not a big deal. Judge Hazard by the way he carries himself on the pitch and off of it. Few athletes do it better. Who in your opinion embodies professionalism more?
  17. Kovacic has a realese clause of around 40m, that is not really great for us, hellva deal for Madrid though.
  18. Dybala is not realistic, he is not leaving Juve especially after they have signed CR7. He is playing at a top 3 team in the world. If we sell Hazard to Real, i would demand Isco + money. Martial-Morata-Pulisic Isco Kante Jorginho Palmieri Rudigar Christensen Azpi Alisson
  19. Or what I have been saying, you guys are massively overrating Seri. There is a reason why he will land at Fulham. Good signing for them, not for us.
  20. btw James Rodriguez is a top player, he is a bit one dimensional player. fantastic player, as long as you know what you are getting from him and comfortable with it.
  21. I would be worried too if Golovin was a one dimensional player; he really has all the qualities to be a top player. pace, athleticism, touch, passing, stamina, etc. Looking at the body of works during these games, and very few games of CSKA. I am very impressed. I do really get your point about not falling for the hype. Look at my posts from last summer i was very against Bakayoko. I warned this forum about him being a one year wonder, and some of his short comings that i didn't like. Plus he fits tremendously in Sarri system, and plus it is not like we are breaking the bank here. No reason to doubt this signing imo.
  22. Freaking awesome signing if true, really feel good about him.
  23. At this point i am really on board with anyone that is not Conte, and will play proactive football. Prefer Sarri by a great distance, but in the end i think Blanc is a much better coach than being credited for. Still believe Sarri will be Chelsea next coach.
