  1. Let's be honest here i don't rate Victor Moses but he's much more suited to the Premier League then Cuadrado. He just hasn't got the strength, technique or from what i've seen the ability to make it at Chelsea.
  2. Quick straw poll Chelsea fans when Cech signed 2004. Internet fans who had never heard of Cech or Chelsea then ?.
  3. This is my last post on Cech. Let's put it this way Chelsea have had only two outstanding goalkeepers in our recent history. Petr Cech and Peter Bonetti. We've had some good ones, Eddie and Cudicini but the only really outstanding ones were Cech and Bonetti. To say Cech is no longer a Chelsea legend is absolute bullshit and disingenuous. Apart from all the medals he won think about all his personal achievements only letting in 15 goals in a season and kept 24 clean sheets in his first season aged 23 that's just outstanding. He had 100 clean sheets in only 180 appearances another record. The man has been nothing but a credit since he's been with us and all that he achieved he did it with us not fucking Arsenal us. Yes some fans will get the hump about him joining Arsenal but as good as he is he's not the final piece in Arsenal's jigsaw not by a long shot. And Munich well you just don't need any superlatives for that night.
  4. The last England 21 coaches Pearce and now Southgate very moderate careers as coach/manager. Yet the F.A. decide they should be in charge of England's best young players why?. Surely it's jobs for the boys and they get these jobs simply because there ex England internationals. They keep saying there should be a root and branch clear out at the F.A. well they can start by making the next England 21's coach a young and up and coming coach like Karl Robinson. Not some failed old has been. I bet someone like David Platt will be the next coach the English F.A are so backward looking it's unreal.
  5. Well enjoy the film that first sentence sounds like a tag line. It's not a question of honour at all it's just a man making a career move that you don't agree with. Very little honour in football never has been it's extremely cut throat as is all high powered business.
  6. I agree but i think that too many parallels are being made with the Cole- Gallas deal and we definitely got the better deal there.
  7. Your taking the piss mate first saying he should join Fulham then West Ham. Now your saying he should play in the odd cup game and the Super cup and Club world cup are you serious?. You obviously think it's a given that we are going to be in these competitions every year. So you think that if you want to stay as one of the best keepers in world football you'd be happy as a bench warmer?. Ryan Giggs is completely different Cech has the chance to be the no 1 choice for at least four years. Giggs was a squad player for his last five seasons something he was obviously content with.
  8. I'm not sure if we were actively pursuing Walcott and Ox or if Mourinio was just trying to muddy the waters.
  9. What exactly do you want him to do sit on the bench just to appease you? He wants first team football it's as simple as that he's a professional footballer. You have to get over him joining Arsenal. I'm old enough to remember Dennis Law who has a statue outside Old Trafford joining Man City. Is he still a legend in there fans eyes of course he is.
  10. West Ham isn't much better if he was going to stay in London Arsenal are the only feasible team he could join. Dirtying his story what does that mean?. One year left on his contract no chance of playing for us unless Theo gets injured. In a season he would be a free agent and Arsenal could get him for nothing. Chelsea could have dug there heels in and said no you stay put and sit on the bench. But no Roman respects the job he's done for us and allowed him carte blanche and i think the club comes out well. Can you imagine the hue and cry from the media if we refused to let him go?. So yes he's joining Arsenal but lets get things into perspective we are selling our reserve 33 year old keeper not Hazard or Costa.
  11. Fulham are you on drugs mate ?.Why would he want to join Spurs? No champions league football and that could only happen if Lloris was to leave. Not quite sure how we are able to force Ox to join us. This is a different scenario to Gallas and Cole. A question of honour regarding who Cech or Chelsea because i think the club have acted very honourably. By letting Cech basically pick where he wants to go because of the impeccable way he's conducted himself while he's been at the club. Yes it sticks in the craw that he's joining Arsenal but he's going to be busier then anytime in his career, our back four and Arsenal's are worlds apart in quality.
  12. Pellegrini looks like one of those actors from the 70's who's always cast as a hairdresser or a gay informer.
  13. Ha ha good one Brooklyn Bridge maybe, Stamford Bridge? i was going when you were just a glint in the milkman's eye.
  14. Why shouldn't he be cheered every time he plays against us?. Like i said you don't represent Chelsea fans so it's irrelevant. Maybe that's the way they do things in the good old U.S.A. but we are Londoners mate so we are quite capable of deciding if we should cheer him when we want.
  15. Will you be at the Bridge to cheer or boo him i very much doubt it. Such a crass comment from someone who obviously knows nothing about Chelsea fans and our traditions. This overused word class it's got nothing at all to do with that. Cech has been superb while he's been here and the least he deserves is a good reception. To even consider booing him is insulting this is not Gordon Durie or Andy Townsend this is a bona fide Chelsea legend.
  16. Haven't worked out if this geezer is being serious or it's a comedy skit. http://t.co/6ZKy6zY6Q5
  17. Used to love the terraces back in the day. White Wall and the middle of the Shed. Not against standing per say but at my age and my back it's a no no for me.
  18. Kerry Dixon has been given nine months for assaulting someone in the pub. A real Chelsea legend hope he can turn things around. What a day this was 20,000 blue boys in the ground. Hello Hello Chelsea are back. https://youtu.be/v1bDQ6WoGGQ
  19. Nigerian businessman to buy Arsenal once they let him know their bank details A prominent Nigerian businessman has declared his intention to buy Arsenal football club. An email was received by several departments of the football club on Wednesday purportedly from Mr Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest businessman, although, the email did spell his name with several ‘Z’s. It began by saying “Greeting my friends from Nigeria,” It went on to explain that he was actually a ‘man of very success,’ and how could bring ‘mutual joy’ to Arsenal football club by buying it for ‘one hundred billion dollars.’ However, according to the email, owing to banking regulations in Nigeria, Mr DangoZZte (sic) needs full details of Arsenal’s bank account, including passwords and memorable pet. But once he has that then both he and Arsenal will ‘be enjoying great, great excitement in the time.’ “Well, obviously it’s a tremendous offer,” said 194 year-old Chips Keswick, Chairman of Arsenal football club. “And I intend to give it the fullest consideration.” Manager Arsene Wenger was more cautious. “We shall have to wait and see,” said the Frenchman, over a plate of snails and ‘frites’. “On the one hand, one hundred million dollars could purchase many, many tiny, quick, midfielders.” “But on the other we have to assess the value in the market fully before committing and, to be frank, even with that sort of money, I will probably just choose to loan an injured Inuit left-back for half a season than buy any new players.” Jose Mourinho is said to be pissing himself laughing
  20. A loaned pudding ha ha. I'd say Falcao is a collapsed souffle.
  21. You will be and don't call me Shirley (sorry couldn't resist)
  22. Here's a little piece about Falcao's sparkling season at United. Four goals in 29 games, a solitary shot on target in his last 12 Premier League appearances, and 71 minutes struggling to make any impact whatsoever with the club’s under-21s development side against Tottenham Hotspur in March tell their own story. His main contribution in the second string that night was to block two goal-bound shots. His attacking instincts in the six-yard box had been blunted The problem for Falcao is he's gone the same way as the likes of Michael Owen major surgery on the knee never the same player after. If he was to get a sustained run of games then maybe he could get back to something like his old form. But that's not gonna happen Mourinio only plays with one out and out striker and that's Costa. Also this Mendes geezer surely must have played a massive part in this deal because on paper it just looks a very odd move.
