  1. Sacking a manager after four games is madness but replacing him with (possibly) a dullard and extremely average manager in Roy Hodgson is ridiculous. You can only presume the Palace board thought with the tough matches they have on the way that things wouldn't get any better but hiring Hodgson won't make any difference and could make things worse. He's not the sort of manager you need when you're bottom of the league anyway bollocks to them and there wannabe ultra fans.
  2. The best song that we have come up with in the past few years is definitely the Kalou one. ''He comes from the Ivory Coast Kalou, Kalou. He don't do coke like Adrian Mutu Mutu. He crossed the ball in from the left and it landed right on Riise's head and that's why we love Solomon Kalou''. That's what football chants should be witty and over the years we have had some really good ones. Certainly better than Arsenal Arsenal or Liverpool Liverpool which is all those pricks seem capable of.
  3. Here's a bit of background on them. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/09/10/fk-qarabag-club-war-zone-return-dead-play-chelsea-champions/
  4. It's against the law to shout racist abuse in England mate. So if you were at a train station I started to shout anti Italian songs at you how would you feel?. The whole yids thing is a tricky one and is for another debate and frankly I can't be bothered.
  5. For fucks sake mate do you really think there's a comparison with a football fan and a terrorist?. Just such a moronic thing to post. Who is likely to get nicked a football fan who's shouting from the top of his voice or a young teenager sitting quietly with a backpack?.
  6. Vialli is fronting a crowdfunding campaign to get closer links between fans and clubs. It's obviously aimed at lower league clubs who don't have the financial clout of the big clubs. Always loved Luca and I'm sure there's a lot of members here who would agree with this quote. This, intriguingly, may also apply to those fans who never go to the stadium. The explosion of international interest in English football is really what makes businesses such as Tifosy viable. As Vialli puts it: “You’ve got 40,000 supporters going to the stadium but 1,000 times more available through the internet. I think in a way there’s more of a desire to get involved [from] the fans that are not regularly coming to the stadium. They think: ‘I can’t get to the stadium because I live 6,000 miles away but I really want to feel like I’m part of the club.’”
  7. It's a Geordie accent Newcastle. This is from an English drama from the 80's the actor is a bloke called Jimmy Nail (massive twat) he's got a really strong Geordie accent you might need subtitles for this
  8. One good thing to come out of last night is that it's finally dawned on the media that England are shit and are coached by a bloke with a lamentable managerial record. As for the Ox and Barkley they have committed career hari kari just another couple of overhyped English players who will never deliver on the big stage.
  9. Big match tomorrow night North Korea vs Lebanon get your nukes out for the lads.
  10. What for? it was a tongue in cheek comment fair play to him.
  11. Did you know Kevin Day used to be in the National Front ?. I only posted what a Palace fan said I don't really watch much football apart from Chelsea so have no idea how's he playing. There's far too much football and analysis it's extremely tedious especially from the likes of Keown, Savage, Crooks etc. If I'm not at the game I watch Chelsea in my local and we get the governor to turn on the telly five minutes before kick off to spare us the adverts and Carragher and Neville snoozefest. And I do the same at home find out the team and turn on just before kick off.
  12. Are you referring to how close he was to signing for us ?.
  13. In the Guardian there's a fans view of the transfer window this is what a Palace fan said. • Best buy: Sakho, given how well he did for us last season, though Loftus-Cheek has been a revelation
  14. Didn't see much evidence of that a couple of weeks ago despite having 70,000 fans in the ground compared to our 3,000. A team that's won fuck all in the past 25 years apart from a couple of league cups. Shit fans, shit club, shit area.
  15. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if neither of them become top players. I do like RLC reminds me a bit of Eider.
  16. The whole thing is utterly bizarre. Did he or did he not have a medical?. Everton clearly want rid of him yet he doesn't want to join us waiting for Spurs in January maybe. Or he signs a pre contract with us in January moves on a free next Summer and pockets himself a massive slice of the 35 million quid we were going to pay for him.
  17. Remember it well the day of Hillsborough. Terrible start to that season terraces being shut affected the players.
  18. Well Barkley is a scouser he was probably worried someone would burgle his house while he was in London that's why he left the medical early This window has just been bloody awful bordering on the surreal for Chelsea
  19. You get the impression that Marina has done herself no favours and in football circles has the reputation as a hard arse who you can't do business with. Think the Llorente deal is the straw that broke the camel's back as far as I'm concerned. He's been on our radar since the January window and Spurs pinch him from under our noses.
  20. On the radio it said that Mahrez is doing a Peter Odemwingie no one knows where he is he was last seen at Paris airport.
