You have to accept it's a generational thing. Supporting a football team the way I see it and have experienced it is completely different to way that most people here see it.

It makes perfect sense to me how anyone can possibly think that massive signings can be made and given an exact date when their going to happen. I did say earlier to be cautious about potential buys they will come but you can't expect massive deals to be announced three weeks in advance it's not credible or practical. I don't recall anything official just media speculation. They announced they were buying a mystery signing on July 1st which you didn't need to be Sherlock Holmes to suss out it was Willy. Don't be surprised if not a lot happens. The media have been surmising that a load of players will be joining on July 1st the club have not made any statements saying that is a fact.

Signs are that those sort of wages are likely to be on the decline. Sky Sports are cutting their prices because of falling viewing figures and it's so bloody expensive. A lot of pubs don't show live football anymore it cost £30,000 a year to show football and pubs are closing down left right and centre. A lot of people are using Now TV where you pay £7 for a one off game. Is the bubble bursting not quite but the halcyon days look like they're slowing coming to an end.
