As soon as Erdogan won his presidential elections, he ordered to start transporting injured individuals from Gaza to hospitals in Turkey.

What a man. If Israel were so worried about civilians, they would have done this long ago.

I loved David Luiz, actually thinking of buying a Brazil world cup shirt with him on the back now, but he has gone from our 3rd choice center back to the most expensive defender in history

If hes mucking about, angling for a way out ala Robben, he can fuck off, no player bigger than the club etc.
However, its more than likely the media meddling as usual in undermining the greatest London club

I'm trying to give my two cents here as a guy who loves football:
Look, when Courtois was bought three years ago, he was nothing but a promising young keeper that was seen as a backup for Cech and a possible replacement in the far future. The fact he grew to be one of the world's best so fast, is his own achievement. Chelsea had nothing to do with it. Chelsea had the money to bet a little on this guy and it bet well.
Loaning him out proved to be an enormous success, gaining the club (at the very least) a good deal of money and a superb keeper in the years to come. He might join Chelsea next year or the year after that, but in the player's head, right now, he's an Atletico player. This is the squad he trained with, won prizes with and grew with during the past three years. Making him sit this one out will make him grow further away from the club and looking at his character, that wouldn't do anyone much good. It might be business to you, but to a (young) player, there's a lot of emotion involved as well. I don't think he's been at the Bridge much more than I have (which is never. ).
Personally, I think there should be a maximum number of players allowed in every senior squad in Europe. If you want to buy more players, you should sell some first. This will stop a lot of what's happening right now, and will make for a more honest game.
It's not normal for a club to pluck every decent player away from the smaller leagues and to have a senior squad of 60+ contracted players. This is not a dig at Chelsea btw, you're just rolling with it and doing it very well, this is criticism of football in general. 15-20 years ago, there was much more variety in cup winners, now maybe 6 clubs can still win the CL. Bayern, Real, Barca, Chelsea, Man Utd (in a good year) and City (if they learn how to play properly in Europe). Freak years like Dortmund had last year or Atletico is having currently are very rare exceptions. As a neutral supporter, I don't really like this.
How many leagues still matter? The Spanish one and the Premier League. Germany is coming, yes, and in France you have two rich oil-teams and a lot of crappy ones. The Serie A is crumbling to the ground and can only get scraps now. The Dutch league (Champions League winners until the mid nineties) might as well stop trying by now. Portugal has Porto and Benfica (both multiple cup winners), but as soon as they face real serious competition, it's finished for them too. Football is being monopolised. It wasn't like this in the previous century, and it sure as hell isn't very interesting to me anymore.

congratulation on your victory i don't think our defeat is unfair if we look the 2 legs you deserved to go through the semi final
as a psg fan i'm very angry we have been outplayed out thought and outfought such a disgrace for our team! we had played well in the first leg but yesterday we lost the game before it started as a team we need to display a more ruthless mentality , we really lacked a pair of balls ! When you win 3-1 in the first leg its unacceptable to be kicked out by 2-0 without playing your game
Some of our players have failed big time especially our strikers that could be the end of some of them at Psg
Blanc sucks big time compared to Mourinho ,he is a complete amateur in every way he 's been out coached by a top coach shame on him for allowing this happen with the top players he has at his disposal
All in all i have to admit Chelsea has a better team I will be backing them , if you continue to play like yesterday you will be very hard to beat this year

I Am a LOSC fan and i am a huge fan of Eden, thats why i am on this forum.
I hope some of u guys are able to understand French because there were a very interesting report on Eden this weekend.
He describes his way of seeing football and why he is not scoring more goals amongs others... I found him very lucid cause he said he is a good Player but still not one of the best and he highlights some other interesting stuffs
It was very interesting because i finally got why sometimes It looks like he stops playing and just wait for the final whistle, or sometimes i am frustrated because i wish he plays better but he doesn't.
Just look at It and try to understand !

Here is a recent interview with him; in Arabic. My girl is half Romanian, half Lebanese and I asked her to translate it, but when she heard she has to listen to a footballer for 20 minutes she ran away and never seen her since.
Maybe someone could summarize it in four or five sentences?

He had an interview yesterday on beIN sports. Would have loved to share it but it is in Arabic and sub titles. But every time this kid speaks he impresses me at this age. He said that the closest players to him right now are Luiz, Ba and Hazard. He said he was very happy with the way all the players and managerial staff welcomed him in the club. Life in England is easier for him than in Switzerland and he is adapting. When the host asked him about his thoughts about Mourinho saying that next season he will play an important role in the team, he replied by saying that he was happy about this but that doesn't mean that he has to wait for next season. He believes that he has to work hard from the moment he arrived. He does not have to wait till next season, but by working heard he may earn the chances of playtime this season and he has to keep fighting for it.
That was a very responsible answer to me and reflects a fighting character. I hope he maintains it and his backs this up with hard work and actions.

Didn't Chelsea play Stoke before the 2nd leg against Napoli? I can remember that Fuller stamp on Ivanovic.
1-3, 1-0, 4-1 again? Man, just imagine Chelsea winning 1-0 against Stoke, then knocking-off Paris 4-1, then drawing Barcelona and finally winning the trophy against Bayern. Haha, what a fucked-up scenario this would be

    My first impression:

Salah’s already better than Moses and has a much higher ceiling than him.
Moses needs space to accomplish anything: he dribbles long, by sending the ball into space, not completely in possession, hoping to get there before the opponent does. He relies mostly on pace and power to accomplish that. This is the least technical way of dribbling – I know because that’s how I played the game (wing too). Sometimes this is good enough when the player is also good in other areas, but this will never make him a world class winger IMO.
Salah on the other hand has far better technique: he does not need much space to play. He can dribble in tight spaces or in wide areas with more pace, but he’s always in possession with quick precise touches (fewer when in pace). Salah’s technique, (first touch and tight control of the football) is rare and combined with the great mentality he has shown at such young age, makes him a fantastic prospect. This does not guarantee anything and it’s really up to him (and a number of other variables including luck) to work hard to fulfill his potential.

I’d not rush him this season though. It’s not really about whether he can be effective right now, but to let him develop at his own pace. Imagine how his life must have changed in such a short period of time.
please note that if I end up being completely wrong about him I will merely delete this post, thank you.
