Aye, We are very quick to jump the gun after a player has a good game or 2. When he and RLC had a spell and all that palarva about them being the next English heroes was just too good to be true. Tho I do like Barkley and he has all the makings of a decent player. But like most of our lads theres no intensiity. No fire. No end product. I would also try RLC as striker. Just to give it a shot. Edens lost as false 9. And hes a big strong boy that should be able to bully his way thru. Hes not a ACM. And thats what we need as one of our priorities I think

I think sometimes mate supporters in general get fixated on supporting certain players over the team in general. There may be time that a fan fave COULD be replaced with someone not at our level of a club but it works out better for the team in general, I;m USUALLY of a mind to buy the best/ player in that position which sadly means probably the most expensive, But in the past year or t Ive become much more open to buying the young highly skilled player with lots of potential. But we also do need that big name to add the touch of class and experience, We need a good balance.

BUT is he good enough to be a starter if we want to be real contenders? I know hes got POTM at Wigan a few months back but thats Wigan. Hes not given any Gs or As BUT he is at least HG which is a big help and I see us using a few other yoof for his job too,
