We do have to get another goal scorer apart from striker mate. A ACM would be perfect cause we dont have 1 to give us goals.

We do get good signings for around that £30mill mark. All 3 we mentioned have been similar price. Did our homework. Knew what we needed. Got our targets set early. And they were ours. Makes it sound easy lol

This first touch spot on pass just showed what a good eye hes got. He saw Andre come from a mile away amd knew where he would be. Always loved Schurrle too. This is one of the goals that sent me crazy that year. Buying Cescy and Diego together was like a perfect recipe. The MH was just electric that season. Excellent atmosphere. This made me crack up. OK it was childish and under different circumstances it mighta turned out bad for us. But I loved his spirit and enthusiasm. Going to watch him on the North Bank with my best mate from about 2005/06 was a great time and some brilliant memories. My Gooner mate still used to come to the Bridge to watch him till he began to take a back seat and we not know if or when he would play, 111 Assists in 350 games - not all starters. Agree to alot and of course a proper pre season makes a big difference and changing out style 100% is a major thing. But we have seen from a early time upto Shitty that theres been times we have IMO played great attacking football and that his way of playing works against the likes of Shitty and Victimpool/ We just dont seem to have the ability to remember - or put into practice - what we do from week to week. And I'll say it again theres something missing in our players character - or THE TEAMS character. We dont have that urge to win. OK we have been real unluckyy and we would be much better with a overhaul, but till we get into the players heads the song will remain the same (Set you up @Fulham Broadway =D)

These links just aren't going away are they. But Sarri did say he wanted more strength in MF He does seem pretty good but IF we got him it would be like our board going from night to day. Buying these young talented,technical lads. Quite refresdhing thinking to get a team together that will be playing for awhile together - getting better and more valuable.. But I would still prefer to see us going all out for a TOP striker and AMF. Its goals we need.

Its nigh on impossible to promise regular game time unless you are shit hot and hard to replace. This SHOULD make players strive to be their best but it seems they want it on a plate. IF he thought he was good enough to be a regular starter he would say bring it on. No confidence.

That Kompany is a real gent lol But I'd love to have a defender with that sort of grit and determination! We have always had strong defenders with real strength. I understand we need a more technical 'modern' defender nut we do miss one with that nite. I know Rudi is a big lad and has the ability. I di wish he would use it in a different way. He seems to go into Luiz mode instead of a JT mode/ And we forget we have beaten both these slags before this season. The lads just need to remember how they did it and the feeling they had to achieve it.

Mate it was a sheer miracle we started the season as well as we did. We couldn't have had for a worse pre season even if a Gooner cursed us to have one. Conte had absolutely no chance to do his ground work and properly evaluate the lads so he had to go by what our remaining training staff told him. And of course they were held back by their favoritism and familiarities with the lads instead of a cold eye of a proper evaluation. But we have seen several times that our lads - the majority, can play this system quite well. And this is where I dont fully agree with @Tomo The problem we have is not as simple as lack of training time on the pitch. Its more deep rooted in our players characters and personalities.. They just dont seem to have the desire,ability,character to get the intensity to win. They cant move it up that extra gear in the final third of the pitch to strive for goal. OK you might say we have had the chances and been unlucky or have squandered them. Thats part of our problem. I'm sure that on the training pitch Sarri puts the guys thru all the training he thinks we need and it probably looks to him that its working or I'm sure he wouldn't select who he does. But its the guys putting that into the match and finding that final push thats missing. We have a team of bery similar 'nice' players. Stable,friendly. We don't have game changers to go to so can only sub for a similar type of player in that position. Sorry mate but we need to have a complete overhaul. Something is missing somewhere.

But you talk like Diego was an all scoing goal machine. He went for weeks without scoring/ There were peeps here saying to send him back to Spain. Sometimes we look back with rose tinted specs or selective memories. Yes I loved him. Yes hes better than our 2, yes I'd love to have him when he was in full flow. One of the best sights we have seen. Its that fighting spirit thatt our players are missing. They dont seem able to dig down and find that extra gear or intensity.

I still haven't seen enough to keep him but think we should still use him as striker.

But I do really like going up there mate. They are supposed to be the jolly jokers with the good humour but I find them so easy to wind up. I really can't stand their accents (or Brummies) but once you get them riled up you cant make a word out. They spit and drool all over the place. And its even better when you just stand there being calm and laughing at them. Not got a clue. The Mancs take it easier. But the north London lot is always best.
