i think thats what the whole team lacks. that bite! No intensity. No 2nd gear. We also have some good passers. Luiz,Jorgi,Kovacic. All good. But we dont get many of the lads moving into space off the ball. Yesterday you watch. Kovacic was always looking to see where Willan was. Amd the one time someone tried to get into space Luiz played a spot on ball to Pedro. We do have the ability to play well but its just getting that ooomph and passion thats missing.

I know I can have a moan about certain thing but It does get confusing sometime seeing as we are supporters to see anti comments in every post someone makes, My mates a lifelong gooner and he even says good things about us. Might stick in his throat tho lol

They didn't count the Int Friendlies It does concern me hes not scored a goal in 2 months but hes had 5 assists. 22 Goals last season. 16 assists Just depends on the price. IF he was cheap enough he would make a good backup. Dunno his price tho

Got 11 and 11 so far this season Tho 3Gs are in Int Friendlies. The assists interest me. And he plays ib numerous positions

Me too mate! You woulda thunk that after the 2 last week this might be the time to get him at his best time to score for us. He has 900 minutes less and 19 games less than Willian but scored 9 goals. I know he doesn't take his chances but I do think his option is better than a Eden false 9

He is so inconsistent tho. OK He wasn't useless and had usual good spots but he had his usual mediocre to good to missing a easy goal to scoring a cracker to missing another good chance back to medium. He just cn't seem to have a game where he stays at one level or able to go into a higher gear like Pedro does. Was a good goal tho. I see him here till he retires! Why wasn't Conte tougher on him and just sold him? Or we seem so intent on keeping him? I'm at a loss.

TBH we shouldn't give a fuck right now whether the poor lamb LIKES playing there or not. He should be doing his best no matter where he is played. He had a mediocre game today apart from the assist. Tho we wasn't completely useless today it was the 3rd from the bottom team we played so tell me was it the game we should have been watching? Willian goes from mediocre to missing a great chance after they scored to a great goal to missing another chance from that Luiz ball back to mediocre! Thats the story of Willian in a nutshell lately. Nut sadly I cant see him being anywhere but here till his contract runs out and then if it was renewed Id swallow pills! Alonso ------- WHY?? Pedro - Amazing the little butchers dog at 31 is our most dynamic attacking player and clear MOTM for me Kovacic - aleays looking for Willian and doing some nice flicks but sadly neither him or Jorgi was dynamic enough tho that Jorgi to Willian pass should have neen put away. Luiz/Rudi offered a ususl solid performance. Luiz gives us much more offensively than defending and his long passes are very useful. Once we have a proper striker it should help us a lot. CHO - I can't see the song we sang him doing anything to change his mind

Hard enough to get us to do one deal let alone complicated stuff like this! I know they have different charecteristics and strengths but I've seen a lot of comments in various sites etc saying that Paredes would be their 1st choice if they had the option. But as we are APPARENTLY wanting a replacement for Cescy I would have thought from everything Ive seen and read that Barella was more in that vein tho Paredes would be more than capable I think. What also really rattles my chain is that we bought Pully which I think is a great buy and a good move forward considering our history. And we are seemingly very serious about looking at Barella. Both great,skilled very young players with sacks of 'potential' So tell me why the fuck are we not seriously linked with the likes of Piatek,Jovic,Haller,Werner? Or even my old want Talisca instead of Higs? I have always leaned more towards the more complete high class EXPENSIVE players over yoof but they are all highly prized and very much difficult for us to attract but thru continual checking out all of Mz @Vesper posts about these players who I was previously unaware of shes got me thinking in different ways now. Just like a few different chats on here with different peeps. I still think the proper balance between youth and high class complete is necessary but I now am much more open minded on CERTAIN younger players.

Problem comes when the board and manager disagree on the quality of said player and he spends his time on his arse warming the bench. There needs to be a neeting of minds!

Off to watch it down the boozer. Very quiet watching a game on your own at home. Least it will be with others shouting at the telly! Lets hope the lads are feeling some pride in the badge and show up meaning business.

I do really understand where you are coming from mate and to an extent I agree akso. I do think we could get better for £80. Isco doesn't offer us the goals/assists that others can cheaper But IF we are going to sell to RM I dont see them paying us the price we put on him, as they would just wait and see. But IF they want to throw Isco in with the deal I do think it would be one of our best ways to do the transaction. Edens numbers are better than both Iscos and Asensios so that I see as the reason RM are looking at him
