From what Ive been seeing on the guy I like him. And I think putting him,Costa,Falcao back together MIGHT just turn out as the matching of the decade. The thing I'm worried about is we need to find some way of getting more shots on goal. It did my head in last year that we had games we actually made no shots on goal. And while I do think he would help the team as far as teamwork he doesnt bring alot of goals to the table does he. And I think we are going too much towards being the FFP monitors.Its got to the point where we are penny pinching £2mill for a keeper we need and doubtfully get a better one and hes going to sod off to the bleedin Mancs. And moaning and bitching about overspending £5mill on a great player that would obviously help us alot. Its not like we are skint.

Not too sure if we should brag about his qualities out wide as he didn't set the world on fire did he? And if we was going to get a Swiss Army knife of a player wouldnt it be great if we had one more central midfield? I agree with what everyones saying about Filipe. The good and bad. It was a very strange buy tho and IF we could use him as a part ex instead of the money I'd prefer it But I would like us to get a good LB so Dave can take over from Bane. Then all we need is for Happy to take over from Cahill and a replacement for el Capitano and our back 4 will be sorted lol

I'm sure we all know everything youve just said already. The point I'm trying to make is this is why we must pay a few quid more to get the standard of players we SHOULD be attracting. It will crack me up if the rags go and offer the £8mill for Begovic (who will no doubt play in the 1st team when De Gea goes)after we have tried to penny pinch £2mill for about as good a 2nd keeper as we are likely to get.

Hazard was just a hot youngish lad with potential, we all looked at each other when we went back after Matic and it came as a shock to us all that he turned out so good. Those 2 have got their reputations with us. You know I'm not talking about young lads. I mean world class complete do yer bollox game winning players, already complete, no history of serious injury And why is it any different with next generation of players that grew up watching the likes of Lamps,Drogs etc? We have always had a few great players, we wasnt invented in 2004. For some reason we just havent been able to compete with 'the big boys' unless we throw money at the problem. Take into account the wages cut hes taken and add that to the depreciated loan deal. As for Juan the prices thats always mentioned in these 'links' are always either high or low depending what type of spin the 'reporter' is trying to make so we cant believe any numbers mentioned. But if after 1 season Mou isn't playing him for whatever reason us loaning him out, still paying a % of his wages and hoping he will capture enough media attention for us to sell him for at least as much as we paid for him then I think whats the point, we might as well take a loss on the over inflated price we originally paid for him.

I do agree that we need a balance of our up and coming world class lads that you mention and more 'complete' players. .But if we get the chance to possibly upgrade then we should do it. And in these times when allll teams are wanting to be the best we can then the top players aren't going to be cheap. We aren't RM/AM/Barca/Juve/United that players all want to goto (might even put fuckin gooners over us) So it means us having to shell out for them. We dont get many Cesc,Costa steals so I dont mind if we have to pay a bit over the odds. If we seriously want to make some sort of a LASTING impression in the PL and make a dent in Europe then we need to have a balance of top shit hot players mixed with our young incomplete upwardly mobile lads. Its time we put our hands in our pockets and tried our best to get the standard of players we need.

Our problem isn't new this season. For some reason dont ask me what it is we just dont have the magnetism that draws TOP players generally. You never hear of one saying I cant stand playing for Juve and its always been my dream to play for Chelsea. So we might have to pay a few more quid to get the level of player we should be aiming for and if it means having to then fuck it we gotta dig deep.
