If we could morph Mou mkI / Conte year 1, a splash of Ancelotti and a touch of Sarri we would have the makings of what we need.

Thats what one of the problems is, Ive said it before. Its because the previous 2 managers (and the board) brought in players that suited their defensive ways of playing. The players we have no are all a missmatch of not 1 particular way of playing. They were told so often to defend at all cost that their natural instincts to go forward has been played out of them. Thats how I see it

I've been reading some of the pre/post game interviews and not sure if they are all BS ing or not but they all say they get on great together and feels like a family. And the same goes for the yoofs. I don't see the lads playing like a team.

Fuck that then I'd rather he stays then if thats the case, Hes made some wrong team selections and strange subs but we can't put all the shit we are in on his head. The teams hes picked - even Alonso SHOULD be able to make a better account of themselves. The PLAYERS are playing like school kids. They don;t seem to be able to remember their basic footballing skills. We all know Romans going to sack him and yeah we know Sarris out of his depth but tell me guys can you honestly tell me without laughing any other manager coming in with this lot could do better right now?

Bolloking players only makes a difference if they care what you are saying to them. They obviously dont give a toss as Eden himself has said. There is some fundamental flaw in the way they are treated or trained. I'm all for us being carefree but not 100% of the time.

There is definitely something missing from the 1st teams training. They need to spend a lot of time with some expensive team builder who takes departments from big corporations and gets them to trust each other and work together. Ive just spent some time looking at how our youth and womens teams are doing and all of the players interviews I read mentioned how they played for each other and how they felt like members of their family. Our lads haven't played like a team in a few months. Theres still lots to play for but they need to change their whole attitudes.

Not sure we have many heavyweights bud. We got some I would start - some I would keep for backups and the rest I would sell in a heartbeat. They don't have the heart to fight for that top 4 spot. Tho they have the skills needed to do it. They are like Eden. Fairweather players. Only play good when all is rosey cozy kushdee. I was just telling @mccg that Ive thought since I stopped following England that I didn't care about HG players and didn't think we should be made to use them But Chelseas always had a strong core of English lads. They were all strong passionate guys. Yes of course we had strong passionate none English but they were tight friends with the lads. I don't know if it was because they realized what wearing the Chelsea badge meant and the history and pride that went with it but they were fighters when the shit was going down. We have gradually lost all our strong players. I miss that. Maybe I'm a dinosaur and talking bollox. But its how I feel.

Don't think either are equipped to do it. ZZ might have the skills to deal with divas but hes never had to re build a team and thats what we will need if only for contracts running out and leavers. Not including all the ones that need upgrading! The jobs far too big for Frank. Maybe as a number 2 but not on his own. Magic Box the same. Hes just not good enough to be full manager here. I really don't know who to suggest!

A shame we cant play the womens team just to show the 1st team what its like to have some balls! I normally go into games confident or at least lying to myself we were going to win. But I ain't got the will to even lie right now.

Its this whole 1 out 1 in malarkey we are supposed to have! Still waiting to see who replaces Cescy! With No DOF we dont have the skills needed to be real busy at the club. Its our whole system that needs to be looked at not only on the pitch. Directors - Granny Penny Pinscer needs sacking and some football types need to come in. Need to look at our whole transfer set up and scouting. Academy - the loan system, a structured path for them to be cherry picked in to the 1st team or sell them if we can't see them getting better after a 2 year loan. Need to sort out our identity. A direction the club needs to go in. We dont have one. Using managers with similar styles, Right now we have a patchwork quilt of a tem put together by 3 managers with different styles. The previous 2 were more defenfer orientated and we lost our basic instinct to score goals and offend!!! It makes sense these players cant adapt to Sarris style. We need to knock the walls of our house of cards down and rebuild it from the foundations up!

MateGoa has totally changed in every way since I first went there at 17. You couldn't have found a better chillaxed place. Anjuna was like a heaven on earth/ The cops were still after backsheesh but they weren't the money grabbing cunts they are now. There were no big hotels, no sign of kids,families. Not a trace of Blackpool or Ibiza. All the drugs were 'controlled' by like minded peeps just out for fun. Nothing organized. No signs of gangs. But the Red rupee changed it all. Russia stepped in. Investing in all the things you dont want to see. Starting in 2000 or o you started getting those fat, pink, middle aged families thinking it was a cool thing to do, They didn't seem to notice the locals and the regulars staring at them cause they were just so out of place. It's like you ALWAYS know who the old bill are at the parties cause they are the only ones with polished plain black shoes!! They stand out a mile!' It doesn't help when you have changes in governments neither. One who thinks that having the full moon parties that last 3 days and the nightly parties up in the hills are a good thing. Then theres ones thats anti pleasure who want lessof the 'backpacker' type of tourist and want to cash in on tourism. I've been to Goa 19 times now and rented the same house every time but its changed mate We think we are racist but many there are of the mind we are killing them. About 10 years ago a young 15 year old girl was killed when I was there.Beaten,raped,murdered yet the initial reports blamed her and said she accidentally drowned cause she was a drug addict!! And its all changed for the ex pats who sold up to go move there. I know this couple that moved there in 2005. Paid £50k for a gorgeous house,land and got residency rights and moved there. They found that their residential use of their properties were revoked. And the Govt started fining these house owners 3 times the value of the price they paid for them OR they confiscate it!! Its crazy!! They have even changed the laws on visas - OK it might be frowned upon here too if what we used to do happened. But at one time me n the Mrs would get a 6 month visa. Then shoot off to Thailand for a week or so to sort out another visa then go back again. You cant do that now. You have to leave for 2 months. Yet theres hundreds of thousands going to India from Bangladesh without any form of paper work. Westerners go and add to their economy. As soon as they saw there was money to be made it just killed the place. Heartbreaking it is.

I agree whole heartedly Mrs but we can't play him purely out of respect. What he should be used for is getting the lads in some sort of fighting frame f mind, We are totally bereft of leaders or spirit.

The THEORY behind us getting Sarri was spot on tho mate. Its the type of football we should be playing. But our players apart from being gutless are not suited to this type of football. He has tried to put our players into his Napoli system who just are not capable to play in those positions. And he is just not good at adapting, substiitutions,team selections. Love the idea behind it and his Napoli was a joy to watch. Our lads right now are just not right for the job. Hardly any of them.

I have the back of all our managers until they show they are not doing a good enough job. And while I do think WITH THE RIGHT PLAYERS and a flexible attitude towards team selections,formations and substitutions the system could work. I feel exactly the same as you mate. It blew my mind last night when I saw Zappa getting up to go on. I've questioned some substitutions by our managers over time but even I wouldn't think that subbing Dave off for Zappa would help us in any fuckin way whatsoever to bring us goals!! What the fuck was going thru his mind at the time? Wjat was the reasoning?? PLEASE someone with a footballing mind explain why he thought it could help. I don't give a fuck about whether it upset Dave or hurt his feelings ffs. Thats got nowt to do with it. But it didn;t have any sort of impact or couldn't. It is pretty clear Sarri won't be round long but we really cant go back to having a defensive style. We really do need to bring in a manager that can play attacking football. I loved the way we played in the first few months. It was great to watch. I'm worried that the options of good managers - who will be able to REBUILD us are few and far between. Peeps talking Lamps - NO! He hust isn't big enough. Not got the necessary experience. I dont think ZZ could build a team. Hes had ready made teams. I'm worried guys.

I think thats what our club is full of. Nobodys got the bollox to stand up and be accountable or point fingers. We are a club full of piss weak nobodies who are all gobby in the dressing room in a group.

I'm normally a patient guy. I usually have the managers back and get behind him. And I do still think given different players this would work But I'll have our managers back just as long as I see that he's trying different things to get us better. Changing players etc. But if swapping out Dave for Zappa is the best you can think of to get us scoring goals then thats just not good enough! Apart from the lads having no bollocks whatsoever I do still think they are not listening or incapable of doing what they are practicing. Theres summet going on somewhere. I doubt very much that Sarri will be with us much longer and it worries me who we will get next, We DO need a manager that plays ATTACKING football tho. We cant go backwards. Can someone please help me out and explain why that substitution was made. I can normally see SOME readon but that one went right over my head.
