Lets hope hes the 1st of a couple. Welcome to Chelsea Rossy

You have to think that this is a really big step for the lad too. Hes been with Everton since he was 11 ffs.So theres got to be some emotions going on in him. I know there are with Evertonians. Fuck me they're sagging him off. They must really like him or otherwise they wouldn't give a toss.
-
Dunno wha you guys think but isn't Mou looking rough? When he came to us and started with Mancs he looked calm, rested and up for it but he looks now like he did with us when it was going tits up too. I just dont think he handles pressure too well which is really strange as hes managed probably the most stressful clubs there are.
-
With him so good at creating chances last season and at least able to ind the goal without need of GPS then I reckon we give the lad a shot Its obvious the Don believes in Baks with all the time hes giving him. So lets see if Barkley gets some chances when hes thought fit enough to play in the side.

I hear ya mate! Nobody said Roman was a good scout? We put our heart into the club - he puts his dosh in as well
-
It makes sense on the transfer fee if the £15mill is right considering we offered £50m for him in the summer. When he signs outr contract he will be upto £30mill shirley. But with his wages at £100k thats why Poch couldnt sigb him. With spuds pay structure it would only put him £10k a week less than Mr Potatohead himself. Tho reports of Poch trying to get him to sign a new contract for £200k a week. So Ive been thinking this might just work. Pretty sure hes a Roman buy but lets see how he works out. With him being good at creating chances at least he offers more creativity eh.
-
Its plain that buys likeWaterboy,Barkley,Carroll are down to Roman. If you go read the media from early this season there were many stories about Roman wanting a strong ENGLISH (Homegrown?) core. He loved our English lads cause they were strong and loved the club. Also when Emenalo left there was reports he was going to be more hands on with transfers both coming and going. There as also a statement in the report I read that he would like Drogs back in some capacity with Drogs saying he wanted to be a Sporting Director when he hung up his boots. So I can see the 3 of them - JT,Lamps,Drogs all coming back as Coaching staff/Scouting/Transfers etc in some way between them. Not sure how it would work with them not really knowing the 'foreign' market. But the makings of a very god idea IMHO

Ex-Blues manager takes another jibe at ‘clown’ Antonio Conte

Hes making it very difficult for me to remember him with any affection. -
I know we ALL want 'A List' players but our reality is while we do sometime dig deep for one our normal cap is £30/£35k. I wrote in a post I thought I had become a bit of a snob thinking we should only buy big players. But in reality if you get a group of players of GOOD quality that gel and enjoy playing together then they can beat anyone. And who knows. Barkley at this cheap price might just give us that option we need. Just see this Chelsea to land Ross Barkley in £15million deal after Tottenham end interest over wage demands http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-land-ross-barkley-15million-11800306 Spurs' strict pay structure currently sees Harry Kane and captain Hugo Lloris as the club's top earners, with the pair currently earning around £100,000-a-week. But it's believed Barkley was looking for a figure in excess of the duo,

Well I'm of same thoughts mate. Its not like we have missed a Lamps since he left have we eh! And tho I would rather us get Vidal my minds completely open to him. And Ive only just read that he was 5th on the list of creating the most chances last season. Not sure if thats right but made me go hmmm
-
I hear ya about buses. I'm all for us winning at all costs but at least right now (I dont understand why peeps dont think this) we have a manager who isn't adverse to us going forward. We are creating many chances but just not finishing good. In my little nut I pondered whether ZZ would want to come to us. He would get his chance to be with Eden,Tibo and Kante without hassling Perez to buy them. Plus I read that Roman met him last year so you can imagine the subject did come up in chats. He would also probably like the chance to go up against the PL managers. Only thing is I dont think he would handle our transfer policy as hes used to an open ended budget. Could he handle it?
-
The thing that would be good about him is for when space is tight. When teams park their shiney bus between the sticks we ould stick him and Cescy together in a 352 to give us more creativity. but I also think that about Waterboy with Cescy or even put Luiz in CM as an option..
-
If Tibo is saying things like this in a interview then it must b a common subject among the players Courtois believes the huge fees currently being demanded in the transfer market complicates things. The goalkeeper says he understands why the club could be put off some deals. He said: ‘It’s easy to say “make big signings”, but the market went nuts. The price being paid for players is too much. ‘I understand the point of view of the club. You can’t ignore that. ‘You can’t ask a club to pay so much money that it is maybe too much for a guy. That’s what’s happened in the Premier League now… and everybody smells that.’

Still dont know where we think hes going to play? And it will mean no Vidal too shirley..

The defender has been targeted as Barcelona and Milan in European newspapers, but UOL Esporte has learned that Antonio Conte, manager of the English club, personally told the defender that he does not intend to release him

Actually now I'm thinking a little better can you all remember a couple months back with all those reports saying Roman wanted a strong English core (or would that be Homegrown?) back at the Bridge. How he missed the likes of JT,Lamps,Cashley etc?? Well all these English teams links plus Drinks,Moses,Andreas it sounds like there may be a hint of truth to it?
