I understand his bad points but why is it do you think that both Alonso and Moses are thought of better by peeps outside of Chelsea (or maybe in here I dunno) than we do. Media,pudits etc all love them. I'm worried that IF we bring in Sandro (who is only 1 step up on stats lists than Alonso) that he wont fit in/gel/handle the PL etc etc Or Telles to that matter. Are we being too hard on him. Cause I really dont mind him for most of the time.

It was BECAUSE they were the strongest team in Europe that they could bring him in. Like you say IF the other 9 could step up to make up for him then yeah we could/should do it. But no we dont utilize the youth enough. We shoulda used 4 on Saturday and we wouldn't have done any worse I dont think. But I also think like we should trust youth that we also trust the starting 11. The stick I see us giving Alonso,Moses goes too far I think. I know its because we always wamt more,better but those 2 are loved outside of here. Specially Alonso. Yeah of course I would upgrade if we could but fuck I'd upgrade alot of them. if possible. I dunno if we will ever get the youth ballance sorted but Ive always believe that tallent should work no matter where it is. Meaning IF our academy lads are as good as we/they are supposed to be they should excel wherever they go. We just dont see that tho. Is it because that in the academy they play with the same lads week in week out. They are perfectly gelled together. They know each other so well having grown up together. But take them from that comfort zone and put them with men they dont know then its different. Theres only the odd 1 or 2 really make it but thats the same at any club isn't it. So no bad reflection on our academy.

What do you think the best for us would be with him? I really like him but really not sure what is our best way to go with him. I would like to keep him to train at home. Either as CB or DM. I dont pretend to understand why he wasn't used against Norwich cause I thought it perfect for him but..... So its either keeping him like Mou did Happy which was working fine or do we loan him to Sunderland who are holding up the league. I think that particular loan would be good for HIM with Coleman knowing him really well (also wanting Ben Woodburn but with Coutinho going hes not sure to go) So Coleman being very clever bringing in excellent kids on the cheap who he knows both well. He will treat him right plus get regular playing time. I think he wants the loan till end of season but do we take that gamble letting him have 18 months? I know it worked well with AC and Tibo but theres always that chance of him enjoying his new place. Hard decision innit?

But we need the scouts to look at the players like that. But tell me just what our supporters would say if we started buying a load of £10m players? The interweb would burn. Everyone would be screaming for blood saying why arent we buying £100m players. I'm a bit like that too but I also realise theres cheap talent available too. I love a gamble but theres no way on earth I could risk money on either coming 2nd 3rd or 4th in the EPL seeing how tight it is up there. So while I do understand why we dont bring the youth on it doesn't mean I wouldn't like to specially in certain positions,times. And WE dont have any pressure being supporters but you can bet that Conte has to answer for everything he does to Roman. We slag off both our WBs but everyone else in football love them. I'd take upgrades on them if at all possible (and others) but we aren't the ones in charge. And the FFP would go out the window along with all the recent work of keeping to it. Theres just too much pressure on the club to take big risks. No most of our youth just aren't ready for us or a top 6 tean.

Why should they? I'm all for it IF and when they are good enough but I want the best player we can possibly find in each position. We have given youth a try but how many make the most of it? It would seem more sensible for MOST with a chance of taking it a higher step to go on loan to get experience first and to bring them home if they might fit in. Unless theres the odd 1 or 2 that just might work into the 1st team. I really like Ampadu. Kids so young and I would like to see us keeping him to train him on site giving him time when possible. What I wou;d like to see happen but is a big gamble is to send out our loanees for a 2 or 3 year period. That way they can relax tknowing they are in 1 team for awhile and now akk they need to do is study and work hard. A gamble as it leaves them open to liking their loaned team so much they want to stay. As in Tibos case. If we was a mid table club that was safe from relegation that would be ideal to promote alot of youth as theres no pressure for silverware drom fans,board,owner media. But just not peactical with us even with arguably the best academy in PL. IMHO

They live,breathe Chelsea and have visions of being in the 1st team. They want nothing more than to win the FA Cup and hold it high emulating their 1st team heroes.
