Even Torres had some great games for us and I dont think it was all his fault he wasn't more of a success. We failed him too. He didn't feel at home and our style didn't suit him neither. He came from a club that loved him, the team,manager,fans ll loved him and he didn't get that here. Just as alot of players have success when they leave to a new place. Feeling appreciated and wanted is a makor part in a player doing good.

I've never been a big lover of RLC but I hoped that regular playing in the PL ould give him that step beyond ll the hype on his back. But Ive not really kept an eye om him apart from reading replorts and theyve not been too bad. Would WVG be better than RLC or???? Would they work better in a 2 or 3 man CM? Agree. And we are still paying for it. But I think Roman enjoyed that time so much and he made friends and connection. Plus liked that we had a team with big strong lads and a big English presence (that I read he wants to replicate). But we cant have a different contract for each over 30. If we give 1 a yearly renewable we should with them all. Even tho some are much fitter than others. We should just scrub that ridiculous outdated practice. But theres past his best and BAD! We got a few players past their best!
