Real shame that Contes stay has ended in this miserable way after he set the league on fire in his 1st season. He deserved better treatment and respect from the players,the board and from us supporters. Yes he took things too far but hes a man who acts on emotions and he felt let down and pissed off at not being given enough support. But too much has happened for him to stay so its time for a fresh start yet again. Its going to be impossible for the players we have right now to play Sarriball so lets pray to the footballing atoms the board manages to get us some players who can. Ive felt very pessimistic since the end of season but I must admit to liking the players we are being linked with that Sarri SUPPOSEDLY likes. They may not be big names but SEEM to fit the type of player we are going to need. Lets hope we manage to keep Eden and N'Golo especially as he would be impossible to replace. Fingers crossed guys.

Theres times where the loan system works out and I cant see this being one of them. Sell him for as much as poss (along with a pile of others) and use the money on 1st team starters - and depth.

Tho I would be sad to see him go I would much rather we sell him to Barca even if it was for less than Manure offered. I do think tho it would be one less reason for Eden to hang around, They get on well as mates and play well together so him leaving will just mean another player for him to get used to. I've realized I had started to go down the worse possible path. I had found myself into thinking like a Manure 'supporter' Some footballing snobby twat that thinks unless a player is a household name and costs close to £100mill then he wasn't worth looking at. But its ALL about putting together players that combine to make a single working unit. And thats what fucks Manure up. All of our best buys have been under £35mill while not being pocket change it certainly is nothing compared to whats being asked for many options. Before we was linked with Rugani and Golovin I wouldn't have even pondered buying them but the more Ive read and watched them the happier I get about us hopefully buying them.

Golo 'n N'Golo sounds like a match made in My Blue Heaven just a perfect match up. Those 2 running around like hamsters on their wheels would be amazing. We could use Baks/Barks or RLC as 3rd man IF of course we dont manage to buy Seri too/ It would go a long way to help restore my faith in our powers that be.

Me too mate In a perfect world I would swap Higuain for Icardi and add a upgrade on Willi but its at least showing that SOMEONE SOMEWHERE has bought into Sarriball and wants to back him up. That is of course its not all just a load of media bollox cause that would piss me right off. But the problem we have got won't be fixed in 1 window. But hopefully at least Sarri and our board can get along well enough that he will be able to get SOME players in this window to at least make Sarriball work for us, make a decent enough showing that will capture new targets attention and give the board faith in what he is trying to achieve then we continue strengthening till we are rulers of the known universe! I'd be content with the players happy,gelling,buying into Sarri style, playing really good football and would be happy with a top 4 this season - lets hope Roman doesn't get trigger happy if we end up with no silverware or a top 4 and we ARE playing good football/.

Couldn't agree more about needing a technical CM but I'm going by all the reports that I've read about how Sarri builds his attacks from defense and we don't have a technically gifted player that is able to do that Its not a matter of them struggling they just aren't capable of it. And if we seriously want to make any attempt at competing at any level then we do have to bring in creative players in defense,CM AND forwards. 3 VERY GOOD players at a minimum but 5 to be serious. We need to start offloading all the deadwood wonky donkeys,The loanees,the over aged.the slow,wannabes,hasbeens and total utter shite. This should have been happening each year but we have accumulated a forest full of it now and its time for a bloody good clear out.
