ZIDANE TO JUVE? Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane will join Juventus as an advisor, Libertad reports. The Italian giants are desperate for Champions League success, and have acquired the services of Cristiano Ronaldo and Zidane in an attempt to bring the trophy to Italy. The pair were key to Real Madrid's recent back-to-back triumphs in the competition.

Cant see us going for him or Petr wanting to come back
-
Whats wrong with Cillessen or Done a runner
-
I was quite open minded about him when he came. There was some games he was OK and a couple he was very good but what I'm never able to understand is how a player can have such good games 1 week to absolute howlers the next/ We have a few that just have no continuation of form. I cant see him in our future so if pooss we gotta cut ties.

Well we haven't gone down no drain yet tho! We are selling 2 players who dont want to play for us any more
-
I like forums cause they are full of different types of peeps with a big range he of opinions. I dont even mind other teams supporters joining in with banter as long as you can give back what they give But yor're a right buzz kill sometimes mate. I dont know whats got to happen for you to crack a grin. Right now I'm buzzing. We have gpt a manager that has the chance to teach us how to play attractive attacking football. Bought one of the best playmakers going. Links with some very skillful players. OK I would have loved it if we could have sorted the managers shit out sooner but I need to remind myself sometimes we are speaking in Millions of pounds I'm very optimistic right now.

Amy way at all we could add a DISLIKE THIS button? Would prove very useful.
-
If we are going to lose him this might be the best time to do it, With a new manager who hasn't worked with him, under a new system using new players we are in a state of transition so all the players are adapting to each other,
-
Amazing @ almost x2 what we might get for Tibo! Should have sold him last season
-
Hes not God almighty mate. He kicks about a football. He might do it very well when he is in the mood but tell me what would we do if he happened to have an injury early on? would we say fuck it we cant play because Hazards out? There's teams that manage to play and win very well and they don't have Hazard. I'm not at all knocking those of us that think the sun shines out of his bum (I've got my own players I love - I'd have a fit and a hangover for a week if we lost the wee baldy man) but there's got to be options mate.. If hes going hes going. We have lost good players before
-
I've got a fence wedged firmly up my arse about our best thing to do 1. sell him now. Take advantage of how much RM apparently want him. We have the upper hand with him on 2 years left in his current contract. Do we include Isco or Asensio in the deal? 2 Tell Perez to piss off. Gamble that we can talk him into re signing after we hopefully play some excellent football with some crackin new players. This of course can turn round and bite us next summer with 1 year left on contract. I'm falling on side 1 right now if we get a good replacement in the part ex.

Gotta check these HG's Chelsea: Homegrown status becoming a factor in who stays, who goes https://theprideoflondon.com/2018/07/18/chelsea-transfers-homegrown-players/

Anyone read anything about what formation etc Lamps is using in practice
-
Morris knows him inside out and has the kids best interest at heart. He wont want to see him fuck up. Its a strange time to make this decision tho as you would think that Sarri might have appreciated giving him a once over which is why I'm thinking this was sorted before Sarri came and gave Lamps/Morris preferential treatment.
-
We dont know how the deal was set up tho. Allot of these big nimber deals seem to be made in installments But Ronaldo should have made that much purely on shirt sales. From bits I read when we were first linked to Morata I remember reading Morata and Ronaldo didn't get on and Ronaldo was wanting Morata to leave. Thats gonna be awkward. But same with Perez not wanting Eden according to ZZ. Hows that going to be explained? Just waiting for someone to ask ZZ that.

I do think Emerson will work out really well in a Sarri team. Has everything that Ghoulam has IMO
-
Hes not really got the character to be captain IMO. It needs a strong character that can roust the team when needed. It takes him all his effort to roust himself sometime.. Dave does the job well enough now.
-
thats why we always fill the rest with academy lads
-
I think you are totally wrong Higuain would provide Chelsea with a starkly contrasting character to placid Morata https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/higuain-would-provide-chelsea-with-a-starkly-contrasting-character-to-placid-morata/

Could he be the type of keeper we need in a Sarri system?
-
I dont think Gazza was completely taken to by the supporters. Probably accepted much more when JT was here tho. Since then I think hes tried too hard to be captain courageous. It doesn't sit well taking the captains armband off Dave coming in as sub like that. He could have led just as well without it if he had the teams trust. And the way I look at players since Lamps left is totally different. MOST just see clubs as another job. Change jobs, wear a different suit to work, new boss and workmates. Just like the rest of us change jobs. Keep some mates at old job but do your best for new boss. The days wgere peeps enter one job from school and stay there till retirement has gone. And happens very rarely in football. Thats why when it does they become legends I dont mind where peeps go as long as we dont strengthen our opponents and we have an upgrade or decent replacement before they go. Gazzas lost what is needed under Sarri - time to say good bye
-
Sorry mate was thinking more along the lines of Morata at the time.
-
haha Sorry bud. I do this allot with @the wes
