But in a fast playing, fast passing attacking team with a manager who has faith in him you dont know what will happen do you. Its all hopes and ifs. Its the same with RLC. I know I'm not his biggest fan but I'm open to the possibility he could get better under Sarri. We just dont know. But to have a goal scoring CM would be perfic.

I like what I've seen of all the preseason training vids of him. Allot of the lads Alonso,Cescy,Pedro are laughing joking quite a bit. But barkley has got his head down and is really looking into it. Hes looking really fit. I will be interested to see what Sarri makes of him

He might be a short term plaster but he is what we need right now, We have to realize we are going to lose both Eden and Wili. Our 2 main guys up front. They enjoy playing together and do it pretty well. None of our strikers have the technical ability to keep the ball, take it into the box and score. We have been using strikers as targets for their heads apart from Diego.. I dunno if Sarri will be able to get into Moratas head and find his lost confidence but he might be our best hope right now in a Sarri side. But I would rather us lose some money for a player the new manager knows well and he knows how to find the goal without a GPRS I think he would work really well alongside Eden which is a shame.

Way I see it is he would definitely be a step up to what we have at present as for being more technical and for giving us goals. A big plus is Sari knows him well so will know what each other wants. If course the downside is his age and lack of resale value/ But if we get 3 odd years out of him would be great and HOPEFULLY in the meantime we can be training someone younger. In a perfect world of course I'd rather buy a top young striker now. Icardi would be my choice and many more of us no doubt. Roman should get over to Inter and do some of his business.

I find this statement ADL made strange "But it does not depend on me. If Jorginho moves to Chelsea, my agreement with Abramovich does not depend on Sarri becoming their next manager." Sounds like the 2 deals are completely separate
