I would say Anelka used to get the job done. A very good second striker. Too bad he started playing the Mikel role - DM
-
**Cough** Etoo *cough*. If I remember, he was earning like 300K/wk. Took a paycut to play for us. And he never earned more than Drogba. #just saying
-
Well, Stoke city completely "destroyed" Liverpool, Leicester "destroyed" United. Does it mean they can "destroy" RM or Juv? We confortably beat those epl teams last year. What did we do in the CL? CL games are quite odd. Trust me, after the group stages, anyone can beat anyone.
-
what shit is this?
-
+1 But as I said before, its the second season syndrome for Ancelotti. The teams tend to be static, no inspiration and lack focus.
-
Tomo, I think since Mourinho left, this has been the trend: Avram Grant - took us to the final of the champions league, no trophy - consequence SACKED Luiz Scolari - the worst manager in the Abramovic era, - consequence SACKED Gus Hiddink - Only at Chelsea from February to May, won FA Cup. end of Contract. Carlo Ancelotti - Fantastic football in the first year, won the double. Second year was a disaster, no trophy - consequence SACKED Villas Boas - Tried something new at the club, terrible results - consequence SACKED Roberto Di Matteo - Stepped in to save our season, won the CL, stayed on. Next season things went terribly wrong - consequence SACKED Rafa Benitez - Stepped in to save our season, did great despite all the hate he got. Won us the Europa, but due to his unpopularity, compounded with the fact that the SPECIAL ONE was avalible, its a no brainer. He deservedly left. Offcourse all of you know all these, but I find no difference with what has been happening at Real Madrid, or any other big club.
-
He needs to hire someone. He knows the best suited person is José. He should be checking on Nuno Espirito Santos. This guy has Valencia playing some nice football, but then, he aint no big name. As someone said, Real Madrid are really running out of managers.
-
Offer him 35k per week take it or leave it.
-
Well, I am 99% sure if he won a trophy in his third year, he would never have been sacked, no matter what Casillas thinks. Florentino may still have a soft spot for him, but he does not decide everything. The pressure from other board members is immense.
-
He brings trophies. Thats what Real Madrid want. No trophy you are gone. Same with Chelsea. Unlike other teams like Arsenal and Liverpool that are content with 4th place. Mourinho wins Copa Del Rey in first season, La Liga in second season. Nothing in third season, he is sacked. No trophies, no work. thats the Madrid way.
-
Second season syndrome. Works wonders during 1st season, then gets sacked the next season. Chelsea and now Real. Real gentleman btw.
-
Oscar just needs a REST. 3 or 4 years without end of season holiday has really affected his game. He's no machine. I believe Oscar is going to improve a lot next season.
-
These are just figures thrown around and about ffs. IMO if we are after him, it will be in the region of 28-32mil pounds. Fsirely reasonable considering Costa cost us 32 or something
-
You see, they used to say Ivanovic was a waste of money. The thing is, a good investor or manager is the one that takes risks. At 4m, the price can only go high. #justsaying.
-
Glad he did not adhere to Mikel´s advice just before kick off. ie " when you receive the ball, hurriedly make a back pass to Cahill"
-
So this is practically Messi-like. "GOD-MODE". I think Messi has 51 goals in 51 appearances
-
Maybe the other Torres. Oliver Torres. BTW, he is having a good loan season at Porto from ATM
-
I wonder how many games has he played this season to get to 41 goals!!!
-
Bale is not as terrible as people percieve him. La Liga is not his cup of tea. Just wait for him to come out in the summer and declare "I AM JOINING THE CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND"
-
So Liverpool will play some youngster (Jordan Ibe) at the Bridge while we cannot play our own RLC? If it happens, that's really pathetic. TBH, I can't see Liverpool overtake United for 4th. This' a deadrubber match
-
So the match ended 3:1 with Musonda Jr. grabbing the third goal.
-
Sir, do you have any streams or rivers for this game??

GET IN. Good morning Champions of England. -
Or maybe a Matuidi type of player!!
-
For me its more like a Matic substitute. Both are very similar in playing style, both left footed.
