  1. IF Traore can get a permit, he'll be here - cover for AM positions. Kalas could come back and provide RB cover, but imo Christensen could do that to a similar level of ability anyway. Or if Terry or Ivanovic gets an injury. From what I've been told, Romeu has no chance unless he recovers from his knee injury. If he can he could take Mikel's place. I honestly hope he does but I just can't see it. Baker could come back if he excels in a good loan, such as maybe a Ligue Un side; see end of next season. If Bamford is happy to come back and be 2nd/3rd choice he will be here. Otherwise a Prem loan.
  2. He won't win Liga. Everybody knows that him and Ancelotti are cup managers. I think, actually, that the last time Rafa won a league title was with Valencia in 2003. To be fair to Perez, though, Atletico Madrid were only a man missing from the post away from winning the CL. Maybe that was a factor, but I doubt somebody could seriously sack someone over a maybe. To those drawing the Abra-Perez comparison, it's different. Perez is merely a chairman, while Abramovich fully owns the club, therefore he can do what he wishes.
  3. Wow. Both Diego and Cesar not called up again. Not that I'm complaining of course...
  4. I honestly believe that he did not think it would damage his Chelsea reputation. Each to their own opinion, though.
  5. Don't really understand why, though. Perez's Real is known to impatient with their managers.
  6. For me, Reus is the only option. Pedro is not good enough for us. Sterling is good but is he better than Traore, or than Boga in a couple of years? Not for me. He won't be staying at Liverpool and I feel he will go to RM when they have their firesale, or City to replace a member of their aging squad. Plus next season Cuadrado will grow into his role. Reus for £50m would be absolutely fantastic value for money. The only other person I would consider if I were Jose would be Robben, but Bayern are not ready to get rid of him yet. Reus/Robben-Willian-Hazard for me is unstoppable. I accept Oscar would go the other way for Reus to come here. Reus-Cesc-Hazard in big games. The further alternative is to put Luis on the right wing. Seriously. I don't know how Atletico used him as a fullback last season because it's like watching Valencia when he plays there for United! Good winger though. Has a good shot on him and as Ivanovic on the right wing produces the crosses for us he can cut in and go into the box.
  7. 13 years worth of actions > 1 mistake? I hated what happened as much as the next guy but he gets too much hate now considering that he was one of the most important players in our history.
  8. I'd like to see Iva-Cahill in CB. I want to see what Cahill is like for club without Terry next to him telling him what to do.
  9. Yeah. Explicitly confirmed too that CFC is his club love...Personally I think people should give him some slack.
  10. I'm sorry but I love the guy too much. Come home Frank...
  11. You need size in central midfield. If anyone other than Matic played next to Cesc our midfield would be raped. Jose clearly wants both more solidarity there and wants to be able to play Cesc higher, especially in big games, and that allows Jose to drop one of our AM 3 if they're under performing. That's just my opinion, though. Personally I think we should have had Frank for one more year.
  12. I enjoyed it. Lead the crowd well. Now stop being a miserable cunt and enjoy a legend while he's still here.
  13. IMO we don't need a new CB. Terry can still play most/all games next season, and still be playing the season after. Zouma is in the wings to play next to Cahill soon. Iva can play CB. And finally, Christensen, who is 18 is everything people above here is looking for and he will be emerging soon indeed.
  14. Meh. As long as Perez dictates what profile of transfer he wants to his managers (how Abramovich did in Mou's first spell w/Shevchenko ) then the manager will never achieve maximum success. Last season it was Spanish "talent". Carvajal, who probably wouldn't play ahead of Bellerin at Arsenal and certainly not Ivanovic/Dave here at CFC, Nacho who is average for a defender (although I'm sure City would still cough up £30m for him), Illarramendi who is so poor that the club prefer to start Sergio Ramos in midfield, and Isco who is certainly good enough for a top team but somehow still starts behind Bale who is having one of the worst seasons he's had since he was a left back for Southampton. Not to mention how the fans turn against a player or even you the moment a mistake is made. I still distinctly remember the press announcing when his children were training or whatever so people could turn up and abuse them. Sickening, fickle club and I hope that we have the honour of drawing them in next season's Champions League.
  15. He can press like mad though and would add a little creativity to the other wing too - something that on the wing Willian does not offer.
  16. He needs a statue. Him and Terry, together, arm in arm Literally defines what CFC has been for the last 15 and will define until the end of the Abramovich era.
  17. But he will be better and certainly is no worse than Ramires. He can also hold the ball and can dribble unlike Ramires. And he is English, and in today's market place that is priceless.
  18. The atmosphere at the parade was so good today, and at the white heart afterwards too. All of the celery everywhere hahahahaha the stewards were fairly loose too. You could tell they weren't employed by CFC!
  19. How about instead we try Oscar on the wing, Willian in the middle and make Ivanovic stay back and actually defend?
  20. That's what happens when you replace the old engineer with a new one. We'd have won so much more had Mou stayed...
  21. I'll be fine AS LONG AS he has a testimonial for us before he moves into coaching. With us.
