  1. Clearly Memphis is the future starting winger in that team, Mata isn't an RW and if Mou says he will play, he will come back. Grudges usually aren't as severe as the media speculate, and Mata loves this club. If the terms are right, he will come home.
  2. Mikel is 28, Rambo is 28, JT still has it, and Cahill is in his prime. And we have the French incredible Hulk, Costa, Willian, and Dave who give absolutely everything they can irrespective of the context the match is in. I did read the facts jibe just now. Sorry, wasn't aware of that.
  3. Considering our striker gets no service with a CAM behind him as it is, imo leaving him isolated is a bad idea - unless we go 2 up top. Mata's probably available now that Memphis is with Utd, maybe we can buy him back. He would be the perfect replacement for Oscar if supplemented with a proper box to box CM.
  4. So because he came up with a decent response you just slate his opinion instead.... There is no reason for someone to lose their character because they are a few years older. This team should have won the last 3 games comfortably, played like it even, but we've been denied and we'll have to live with it for now. We will start winning very soon, I'm certain of it.
  5. Put the handbags away ladies nobody wants bans here... On topic, he was good tonight. Credit where it's due, he's probsbly the only addition to City's 2012 spine that has not been a waste of money.
  6. It really bothers me that there is not a single English starter in that side...
  7. I do agree with that - if we are suffering in attack we should get a worthy striker to partner Costa up top, Lacazette would be perfect.
  8. You know what mate if you can see into the future go and get a fucking coaching job because you will be the best in the world, otherwise hush down because 99% of members here thought Cuadrado was the right choice.
  9. Sorry many of our players can be aggrieved about not being picked but he is not one of them, if he had any brains he would have looked at the squad and realised he is just about last in the pecking order.
  10. In my opinion Begovic Rami Cahill Terry Azpi RLC Mikel Willian Oscar Hazard Remy 3-1 Terry, Willian FK, Oscar penalty Got some tickets for East Upper - time for a war with the stewards :D
  11. Yes he can. Although if Oscar isn't good enough then neither are Rambo/Mikel I think he will bring in Pasalic next year (we brought him as the next Frank, and he is doing well at Monaco, who I believe are in EL right now?) and sell one of our midfielders. Who knows? I honestly believe the club will go without CL football to keep Jose around.
  12. I didn't get to watch the match but I hear that yet again we deserved to win, and we found our attacking football in the locker again. Liverpool is the game.
  13. Some would say that sacking Mourinho would solve all of our problems but I think an interim manager would just exacerbate things - we just need a couple of squad changes and some discipline and we will come around. Example in hand, we could have put 4 past both Kiev and WHU. So I don't think the situation is that dire really, albeit frustrating, but the next 3 games are must win and I think we will.
  14. If he were a right back I would have thought he club would not have sent him out to begin with.
  15. I wouldn't say that he has failed in that aspect much. If you look at the squad he inherited, which was basically Cech Iva Cahill Terry Cole Mikel Rami Oscar Mata Hazard Torres he has improved it exponentially. If Jose manages to ride out his 3rd season hoodoo and gets us winning again I think he will be around for a very long time (although a big if). And he can play good football, obviously after getting us winning that will be the next goal. I suspect he will get another defensive right back to allow Cesc to play deep again without leaving us horribly exposed. Just for reference, this is the team we will probably see from 16/17. And once it returns to form this season I believe we can easily recover this season and come at least top 4 - first place is only 9 points away. Courtois (RB) Cahill Zouma Azpi Cesc Matic Willian Oscar Hazard Costa Now imo the good outweighs the bad decisions here. Yes, Mata and KdB are gone and Oscar is still here BUT He ousted Cech for an even better keeper, a monumental task. Renewed JT's career again, kicked off Zouma's, got rid of Cole, put Azpi in the side, he brought in Cesc (who is just now recovering his form) and Matic (he seems lost, but he is capable of being a midfield monster), moulded Hazard into one of the top 5 in the world, and brought in Costa to a team that needed a striker more than anything. From what I hear the club will put up with no CL football next year and keep Jose if it comes to it - unless we get relegated or other extraordinary event occurs I believe that the club will stick with him.
  16. You mean a 3-4-3? Our wing options are not balanced enough to both attack and defend, we will become even narrower than before. Although if it were done I would probably use Azpi-Cahill-Terry as CBs and stick Zouma in midfield, Willian and Baba as the wing backs.
  17. I think there is a penalty but yes a contract can be broken if both parties agree if there is no break clause. Ie paying Watford a tidy sum of money for their permission.
  18. Never seen a title winning manager be called a dud before. We will bounce back but if we go out of the CL, the COC, and lose against Pool I think the board will lose patience. But as of now I think we will win all of those games. We could have scored for against WHU had a couple of decisions gone our way and luck smiled at us for once - same as against Kiev, and we have some heart in performances now. We will see.
  19. Begovic - 7/10 Courtois N/A Zouma 5/10 Terry 5/10 Cahill 6/10 Ivanovic 2/10 Azpi 8/10 Baba 3/10 Aina N/A Matic 3/10 Fabregas 4/10 Ramires 6/10 Mikel N/A RLC 5/10 Oscar 4/10 Willian 9/10 Hazard 3/10 Kenedy 7/10 Pedro 4/10 (but I think he is carrying an injury) Costa 6/10 Remy N/A Falcao N/A
  20. Firstly, a senior RB(or an LB), because currently the situation in that position is completely unacceptable - Jose Gaya would be an option, or Carvajal, or even Aaron Cresswell. So that's £20m spunked. Other than that I don't feel we can improve until the summer. At which point we should dump Fabregas and Oscar if they still need dumping, spend our money on Isco/Reus and a B2B midfielder - I still can't believe we didn't get Vidal when he was available, that boy was the heir to Essien.
  21. You could write the headlines now - Frank bailing us out one last time...
  22. Well so far he's been crap so I'd bet against your prediction.
  23. Time to clear up or clear off Jose... Begovic Aina Cahill Terry Azpi RLC Mikel Kenedy Cesc Willian Costa Bench Baba, Zouma, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard, Falcao, Amelia
  24. From the way I saw it from the stands he was not fully to blame for the sending off - yes, it was probably another yellow but the ref was going to let him off before the west ham players ganged up on the ref and forced him to give another yellow as the cfc players were organising their box. But he has been rubbish. I don't understand the averse reaction to Mikel-Ramires, right now Mikel probably can defend better than Matic can.
