1. I like Marina as a businesswoman and a closer of deals. However it really annoys me when she wants to get involved in the football side of things, when she doesn't have as much knowledge as the manager or technical director.
2. Amazing what this manager has done in such short time. Where are the Lampard-in merchants that called me a plastic fan for telling people that we desperately needed a new manager? Can't seem to find them on this forum nowadays lol.
3. I'm a huge Tuchel fan and was one of the biggest Lampard-out members on this forum, but I'm just not trusting the players to beat solid teams that can actually press properly. We looked bad when the likes of Barnsley, Sheffield and Newcastle have pressed us. Imagine what Southampton, Atletico and United will do when our only way to beat the press is to clear the ball? This is clearly not a manager issue but a personnel issue, hence why we're looking to get a lot of new players in the summer. I hope Thiago Silva returns as soon as possible, because we desperately need a ball playing defender to bring the ball to the midfielders or attackers. Without him we look toothless in possession when we're being pressed.
4. As soon as Newcastle pressed us, we look toothless. I'm very worried for the Southampton game.
5. I feel like many of us have overrated this squad in the past. Atleast 80% of them are not press-resistant, even though it's an attribute you need at the highest level. It was crazy how much we struggled against the likes of Sheffield and Barnsley when they were pressing us. If that was City, Liverpool or Manchester United pressing us we would have been destroyed. These past few games showed us that we have a bang average squad at the moment, however I hope that things change in the future.
6. We could have really won the league with a proper manager smh.
7. I agree that he is not the ideal first choice manager for the club. I'd rather want Tuchel or Nagelsmann but his time at Leipzig was nothing short of a wonder. What you are saying is undermining the way they were playing. Leipzig relied on fast buildup one touch football, and they were known to be the football team that is the fastest in transition which is something we heavily lack at the moment. The likes of Keita, Forsberg, Werner etc were playing beautiful football under Hassenhuttl. The only reason why I'd prefer a Nagelsmann or Tuchel is because of their flexibility. Hassenhuttl however would be a top manager in any big club in my opinion.
8. Hassenhuttl is known for his combination football though. With better quality at his disposal he'd ofcourse play much more attractive football.
9. He's staying for now, so there's no point talking about him getting sacked sadly enough. The board will kick themselves for not getting Tuchel in during and that's the last thing I'll say.
10. It's a waste of time and energy to talk about him leaving to be honest. The board clearly can't look at things objectively, and see his actual flaws as a manager. The only reason he got the job is because of his status and that's also the only reason on why he'll keep it for now. That's why I've actually given up talking about him being sacked until he actually does.
11. Nizaar Kinsella just said that he won't be sacked immediately but he'll be given another chance. The board are fucking idiots. We're going to win against Morecambe and Fulham, after that we'll lose points again and we'll be in the same position. If we sack him now the new manager atleast has some time to get ready for the Premier League match.
12. The media didn't predict what happened to Conte, Ancelotti etc. I don't think Roman cares about what the press think. Looking at our results and the amount we've spent I'm extremely surprised that we haven't seen Lamps sacked. It's worrying if he doesn't get sacked after this result.
13. I'm expecting to see " Sad news, but we will be parting ways with Super Frank" on Chelsea's front page tomorrow morning. If I don't see that then they're clueless as well. We have a FA Cup week coming up which means there's a week break between now and the next Premier League game. If we get a new manager now, then he actually has enough time with the players to get started. I don't want us to be stupid and get a manager in when there's two PL games in a single week.
14. Where's@Puliiszola ? He called me a plastic fan for saying Lampard out two weeks ago, but he seems to have disappeared. [emoji23][emoji23]
15. Damn even Jason is mentally breaking down. It just goes to show what Lampard has done to this football club lol.
16. I'm looking at killer1257 comments and all I can do is laugh. It is beyond delusion to still defend Lampard and only blame the players.
17. Pathetic deluded fans, they call themselves "proper" Chelsea fans just because they blindly support Lampard without questioning his tactics.
18. If Frank isn't gone after this then we're not a big club anymore.
19. I'm not seeing us press them collectively, whenever they have the ball we sit in our own half and wait for them to basically score.
20. Bailly should've gotten a red card for a two footed tackle, and a couple of minutes later Man UTD get a bs penalty. Classic Varchester United.
21. I'm disbelief to be honest, I expected Roman to be more ruthless. He sacked Ancelotti, Mourinho and Conte for much less.
22. Only 6 points ahead of Arsenal and we face City next, hows he not sacked yet? If you're looking at our next three fixtures then its very possible that Arsenal who've had one the worst starts in their history close the gap on us. Disgraceful...
23. I just have a feeling that it's going to take a long time before he's sacked which is extremely annoying.
