  1. How many misplaced passes am I seeing? Unacceptable
  2. I'm legit losing hope in Pulisic. I don't think he can become a successful Chelsea player to be honest. He's way too injury prone.
  3. Rice is a baller. He's been playing so good.
  4. Liverpool will get exposed against Tottenham. Liverpools highline is made for Son to run in behind and to punish them. Tottenhams counterattack will kill them, but I can see Mane and Salah also score goals if Spurs park the bus. One thing I know is that it's definitely going to be Liverpools toughest game. If they somehow manage to beat Spurs easily then I can't see anyone stop them from winning the league.
  5. Pulisic is so unreliable, he is a ticking timebomb waiting to get injured. We should look at giving CHO more opportunities once he's fit, or getting another winger.
  6. Arteta is actually awful, the fact that he decided to go for an attacking approach instead of a pragmatic/defensive one shows that he is tactically inept. He literally gave Spurs the chance to counterattack time and time again.
  7. Very true. I hope that he starts as a striker against Krasnodar. He needs to score some goals against them to get back in his element.
  8. It was a very intense game for him so it's natural that he was tired at the end of the game. He has been massive for us, I pray that he is fit against Everton.
  9. Happy we got the three points, that's all that matters at the end of the day. We should have been way more clinical though, let's hope the lads learn from this.
  10. He missed more chances in the second half. Him missing chances in front of goal has nothing to do with him playing out wide. Instead of making excuses for him, just accept the fact that he is not performing at the moment. I believe he's not confident in front of goal at the moment, but I have no doubt he'll be a success for us. I hope he picks up form as soon as possible though.
  11. It's starting to get serious now. He is getting away with it way too often. We can seriously lose points because of him if he continues to miss the most easiest chances.
  12. We've given Leeds way too much respect after their goal. We should press them instead of sitting in our own half the whole time.
  13. Havertz looks awful at the moment, maybe he is not as sharp after his comeback. I hope Lampard puts Kovacic on as soon as possible.
  14. Great line-up, exactly what I wanted.
  15. West Ham didn't deserve to win after missing so many clear chances. What did they expect? lol
  16. West Ham should have scored more goals. Bruno coming on for Man UTD in the second half might change the game. Verstuurd vanaf mijn KB2003 met Tapatalk
  17. Abraham was playing very good to his standards. Is that enough to be the regular starter for Chelsea though? I've always pointed out his flaws, which he showed every single match. However the way in which we dominated teams papered over the cracks. Tammy's holdup play killed our attack so many times, for such a tall player he seems physically weak. He was bullied by a lot of defenders this season. Not only that but his positioning inside the box is also not good enough. Don't get me started on his heading ability and ball control. Whenever he makes runs inside the box it always seems like he ends up in situations where he is about to score or he is an inch away from putting the ball behind the net. That's because his positioning is not high level, I'm sure Werner would've scored more goals from crosses even though he is the shorter man. Positioning is key for a striker. The fact that Reece James only has 1 assist this season is such a shame, his crosses are one of the best in the league. Tammy has improved and I hope he improves even more, but for a team that has the ambition to challenge for league titles and champions leagues, he is simply not good enough to be the first choice striker. That's why everyone wants Werner to be our striker once Pulisic returns to his best.
  18. I gave you arguments that has tactical elements of why I'd choose Giroud in this game and you ignored it. I can't speak for everyone else, but I wanted Giroud to be in our starting line-up for weeks now. Why? Because Pulisic hasn't been fit for a while, Abraham is not performing to our standards and CHO is not there yet. So that leaves us with Giroud, Werner and Ziyech. Make no mistake, I want Werner to be our starting striker once Pulisic is matchfit. Pulisic didn't look good against Sevilla, that's why I'd rather play him against Krasnodar. For now Giroud is a better option than CHO or Tammy.
  19. The only reason we're having this conversation is because we beat Sevilla 4-0, no way would people say that Leeds are better even when Sevilla made a couple of changes. Sevilla did press insanely high in the beginning, they started to fall back a bit once we've exposed them using Pulisic, Giroud and CHO. Don't discredit our win just because we've battered them. Crystal Palace scored goals against Leeds that had nothing to do with Leeds openness at the back or Palace's mobile attackers. They scored a freekick, corner, a deflection and a regular goal when Leeds's backline was already in their own half for a while. Leicester did expose Leeds's highline however that's what Jamie Vardy does against every team. He's an expert at running in behind and finishing teams on the counter. We are not a counter attacking team, we play possession based football and to change our whole playing style just to suit this game is wrong in my opinion. Other teams that don't rely on the counter but have fast mobile attackers tried to expose Leeds backline by running in behind and they failed. Aston Villa have Grealish, Watkins, Trezeguet and Barkley that are fast and mobile but they've scored 0 goals against Leeds and the same goes for Everton, Man City and Arsenal. This whole perception of Leeds backline being easily exposed because they play such a highline is false in my opinion. We should just play our own game and use Giroud who is very capable of bullying their weak defenders.
  20. Are people actually arguing with me for saying that the Sevilla team we played is better than Leeds? The same Leeds that lost 4-1 to Crystal Palace and Leicester? I know we shouldn't underestimate them but my point is that Giroud faced a Sevilla team that are better than Leeds. They have a similar style of play, high press with a high line as well. Giroud's hold-up play would complement Werner's runs and Ziyech's passes would be put away by Giroud. He's perfect for this game in my opinion.
  21. Sergi Gomez, Diego Carlos,Gudelj and Rakitic are still better than the likes of Koch, Cooper, Phillips, Klich etc.
  22. Sevilla play a high line and press at a higher level than Leeds, and look at how Giroud dealt with them. There's literally no reason for him to be on the bench.
  23. That backfired against Spurs didn't it? I'm not in the mood to go back and forth with you. It's a pathetic attempt to explain your arguments after I didn't even mention you. Just enjoy the win and good night bro.
  24. Yes the way it was looking and the way his agent was talking I thought he'd leave. The only reason he is getting game time is because Tammy choked against Spurs by the way. The funny thing was that you didn't mind him rotting on the bench, yet I spoke out when I saw a player that was mistreated by the club. I stand by what I said, if Lampard would not have started him then we all should've respected Giroud's decision to leave. What happened today strenghtened my argument even more, he is a better player than Tammy. Yet he was dropped in the beginning of the season..... your argument for why he was dropped still doesn't make sense mate.
