In big games this problem could be solved by playing him in the #10 spot. He plays both positions very well but in this kind of games I think Ramires-Matic is better suited to protect Cesc and the defenders. He is the main creator of our team and should always play and in big games his main task should be helping the attack. In the last few games he is holding back while pressing, doesn't do the hard work he normally does. Looks like he is saving himself which he shouldn't do. Workrate is one of his strongest points, but I don't see him giving 100% which for example Willian always does. In attack I never rated him highly, want Cesc up there for the killer pass. I don't blame him for missing that creativity as long he compensates it with workrate which he isn't providing 100% currently.
