Not good enough, Swansea destroyed this team 5-0 ffs
-
Salah staying, he is not going to Roma

Football manager hat on...If it isn't broken don't fix it, don't want to do a MU and play something ridiculous like 3-5-2 do we... Only change it if it isn't working, atm only 2 defeats in the last 30 games so it is fine. Obviously when we are chasing a game the formation might have to change to 442...etc when we need 2 ST on the pitch.

Yep if this transfer doesn't go through time to block Express for good
-
'Jose...' something like that, the German guy that used to swear at everyone on here who comments anything remotely negative toward Jose. Probably got banned so now he doesn't directly do it anymore, but still keeps that tone.

Worked well for quite sometime but now it is kind of a broken record...fans still love it though because it is Mourinho playing some 'mind game' to them. I personally don't care what he says, all I want for him is to change his tactic and mentality a bit away from home. That is the real flaw I still see in him and after 10 years at top level it still hasn't been addressed. All the other stuff like media...etc are pretty much ignorable.

Next time coming back at least change your nationality mate, making it painfully obvious who you are haha
-
Was hoping he would be out of our game, but now he is fit I can see him scoring a late winner next week and open up the title race again, while probably semi-permanently ending our supporters' love for him(at least on forums like this). Would be ironic and not surprising since football is always like that.

Also the idea of just because the team just played some of the best football in the world, means they can do it again. Barca 10-11, one of the best club team in football history...knocked out by us a year later with our worst team in a decade and Real Madrid won the league too. Even if Bayern do win every single trophy this season, no guarantee they will do it again with Pep or someone else next year. All great teams come to an end at some point, or at least not as good as they WERE at a certain period of time. Therefore all the argument of Pep destroying Heynckes team is not that valid imo. Who to say Madrid wouldn't have still fucked Bayern has Jupp was still in charge.

Well he is at least capable of doing this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKe8263CAes

Maybe Cuadrado move isn't off after all
-
Off the top of my head...Liverpool 1-0 Garcia goal, Liverpool won on pen 4-1...after 2 games of 1-0 to each team, Inter hardcore bus parking at Barca...but needed so not gonna judge him on that, Dortmund 4-1 rape, Barca 2-0 at home because trying to park it in the 1st leg...etc Basically not a single one where I can think of his team DOMINATED the other away from home, even at home there was none really. Maybe that Inter 3-1 Barca but it helped by an offside goal too.
-
Naaa that 2nd leg can't really be used a great example imo. It was a all out battle because we already played the other leg, that is why he encouraged his team to get that early 2nd half goal to basically kill the tie off and it worked. Once we went behind we had to go full on attack to score 2 more goals, they barely hanged on thanks to Courtois saves and then obviously at the end we are so committed we left lot of spaces for them to counter attack and eventually score that 3rd goal. Usually like last week against Real, they scored an early goal then did full on plane parking. Same with yesterday against Barca, hard defending from the start with no intention of trying to get a winner. Against Barca last season in CL they barely hanged on? Diego with that wonder goal, I remember Courtois making like 5 world class saves to deny them getting that 2nd. Oscar not flair enough for you? WTF best Brazilian no10 is apparently not good enough for attacking football, who do you think is better and we can get? Gotze? Isco? James? whoever they are there are very few in world football that we can get for a reasonable price that is better than Oscar atm. Willian I agree, but then 1 out of 5 world class attacking players in the team shouldn't have hindered it that much(Costa, Hazard, Oscar, Fabregas and Willian). Yep something 10 years ago. Tbh that game was more like the Everton 6-3 in Sep last year. They kept on scoring so we naturally had to attack to take the lead back...hence leading to the ridiculous 4-3 or whatever it was in the end.

Ah yeh makes sense, we only really played that in big games nowadays. I don't understand why Jose now prefer Mikel to Ramires in some big away games though, surely Ramires can do everything Mikel does but better.
-
Meh would have been a good signing as I think he is a good player, but doesn't matter if we wait until the summer and go for the likes of Reus...etc or him again, getting 5 more months to pass judgement. Doubt many are that desperate either, some are talking as if he is from Urganda and never played football before . What I hope though is that we don't go for Costa for 20m+, that would be madness.
-
Look like the transfer is reaching its ending in the end as Jose said, no one is going anywhere haha
-
The only problem I have with him is his negativity away from home and the old fashioned mentality of play safe 1st leg, nick a goal and hold on to it for dear life. That is why even at Madrid he never handed out a battling score line of 4-0, 3-0...etc away to a big team, it is always a draw or a close victory. Suspect if he was still Madrid manager last season I doubt they would have won 4-0 away to Bayern, after that Ramos 1st goal it is probably full on defending, aka Liverpool yesterday. He needs to realize eventually that sometime OUR TEAM IS CAPABLE of handing out those beating scorelines away from home too. We are not Chelsea 04-05 or Porto anymore and do not need to have a inferior complex. Lets see if he has learned his lesson in a few weeks when we play PSG away, I doubt it but maybe for once he might surprise me like Wenger did at City last week. Always, always set up to be conservative in big game, EVEN AFTER WE HAVE TAKEN THE INITIATIVE/LEAD. Could argue Simeones is the same but his Madrid team is not as capable of dominating the whole match as this Chelsea team with much more flair players.
-
Torres level of purchase that is,,,
-
Hmm if redemption means must buy then I would take it...
-
Thank GOD, OMG please sign Cuadrado for 25-27m than this guy for the same.
-
is he still injured or did something that upset Jose? never seem to be playing anymore.
-
Messi and Ronaldo both scored 50+ goals every year so they are similar if you like going by stats... Cuadrado is more daring than Willian, sometime he tries to dribble past too many players and lose the ball. Willian always play the safe option once he got into near the box and looks for support from Ivan, Fab...etc immediately. Sanchez is more like Cuadrado but he likes to get into the box and in position to score instead of just dribbling on the side and looks for team mates.
-
Tyson MK2 more likely than Willian the 2nd. If we miss out Cuadrado to sign this guy for a few millions less I will be so fricking pissed. A overrated player that most likely suited to Russian football more than high level BPL football.
