No one is asking him to score 15-20 goals by himself like Reus, at least 5 goals and double figure for assists is an minimum of a Chelsea quality player.

I am not convinced by his defensive side though, tonight didn't see him press that much(not as much as Willian anyway) but going forward he is fantastic. Oh and he is faster than Willian, that is not even debatable.

Funny thing is we are LOOKING TO PAY 30M FOR THIS GUY yet not 5m more for a evidently much better player and who was a star at the WC. The problem me and many are not that Costa is a bad player, but for the potential cost we should have gone for Cuadrado.

Problem is we don't play that much anymore, maybe like 10 games a year max when we play the big teams away from home as evident by Ramires being dropped for the majority of this season.

honestly from Cuadrado to Costa to Sissoko(who is not a bad player) but still a huge drop in quality. Why the fuk can't we be linked with Reus, Bale...etc instead of these above average/decent players.

Sturridge is over hyped, it is as if some sort of messiah coming back because they have been so shit for the majority of this season until recently. He is a great player, but not as if he is Messi so no need to fear him. Also even if he plays he is going to be isolated for the majority of the match anyway as I am sure we will dominate until the 70th min or so where we retreat into bus mode.
