Also one small fault imo is his pen, his confidence is so high and he is very clever he can fool the GK. Sooner or later though he will miss a crucial one imo with that style, especially if he makes that habit of putting it down either side of the middle now. It already happens twice in CL this season and a couple of years ago. I hope he tries to make it at leat closer to the corner now instead of just outright straght down the left/right part of the middle.

Thing is I think nowadays that award is won based on headline and stats. As long as Neymar bangs in 30 every season I don't think Hazard stands a chance sadly even though he is overall a better player for me. The days of a Zidane winning it imo is over now Ronaldo and Messi has made the award purely based on stats because they are so good and constantly putting up incredible numbers.

Atm he is more comparable with Tom Cleverly's ability to pass backward.

Most underrated and underappricated player at Chelsea atm. His contribution defensively is immense and offensively he has been improving a lot in these last few weeks too. Not to mention his pace is a vital asset and he is never injured. Atm if Cuadrado is 23m then this guy is worth at least 30-35m min. Can't believe people are comparing this guy to Oscar, who is a far worse player despite being more naturally talented.

Think unless something changes dramatically his career is gonna be another Salah or Schurrle for us ah well Sterling in summer will be OK.

Shocking predictable line up. Luis instead of Dave Zouma instead of Cahill Cuadrado instead of Willian Maybe Costa instead of Remy These are the changes that should have been implemented. Could see a predictable 0-0 at half time then Cuadrado on for Oscar but probably too late by then.

Not hatred, just that atm he seems to be the weakest link of the team in attack and most people recogise it. Not as obvious as previous seasons but still contribution is no where near good enough to be CAM for Chelsea, a position that is highly demanding both offensively and defensively. While his defensive is decent the attacking side is not good enough. Nothing wrong with talking about replacements by better players like Koke, Pogba...etc. No one is coming in and say we should sack him or something but if PSG offer something good we should take it to sign the better replacements.

Cuadrado is a MUST START for this game. I mean Stoke is gonna park it hard and we are gonna be attacking non stop from the 1st min. Will be really dissapointed if Willian starts on Sat.

Doesn't always work as well as on paper/fifa though. I mean there are track backs, not stepping on each other's shoes...etc. That is why dream teams rarely work in football, because sometime a limited player is better for the balance of the team than a more talented player. I mean it is all well having 2 great wingers who can express themselves, but it is useless if they both neglect their defensive duties or not being able to do it both to a good standard anyway. That is why Willian seems to be working well for us even though his offensive contribution is next to 0, he is one of the best tracking back attacking mid in the world which allows Hazard the freedom to do his things more often.

Lets hope he is the new Rooney and not Andy Caroll if we do sign him for 30/40/50m.

At the same time won the Europa League which in theory makes it automatically a better season than 13-14 or any other trophyless season as well. Also we signed Hazard, Oscar, Dave, Cahill in Jan 2012, Mata and Ramires both had 2 of the best seasons of their career. Agreed it was far from perfect but also far from 'dark' time either. For me the dark time in modern day is from 2006-07 to 2009 where we were so close but ended up winning nothing sigificant. Then again in that 'dark time' we finished 2nd and runner up in CL...etc which is better than 98% of other clubs. 11-12 was a freak campaign, happens once every 10-20 years or something, I wouldn't go too much into it.

While Sterling is demanding 150/180k per weeks the best Brazilian CAM(on paper) is happy at £90k. It shows how far we have come, I mean look at Courtois, Matic...etc all border or around £100k or so and they are the best in the world in their positions. The days of us being held ransom is over and I really like it. I mean apart from Fabregas and Hazard anyone else is even above £150k per week?

Because Carlo or almost any Real manager that is not Jose don't get any say about signing. In theory they are not even 'manager' but merely 1st team coach, didn't he state numerous time last season he wanted to keep Di Maria and won't need anyone...etc.

Comparing Sterling and Bale is like comparing a Mercedes to a Nissan, just doesn't work...

The thing is who is 'good enough' to be that Hazard of the right we want? Cuadrado was as good as it gets on paper and affordablity. Obviously Bale will cost 70-80m min. I can think of a few players in the world who can do what Hazard does and they are Bale, Neymar, Sanchez, Robben, James, Reus. Half of them don't even play RW.
