No one can judge him because none of us have ever seen him play, however would be quite funny and embarassing if we sign him and he fails to get a work permit, going on loan forever like many others. I hope if the club try to sign him they make sure all the legal documents are taken care of 1st or we will be back to square one if he can't play here this season anyway.
-
No official video of him crying but it has been going around on twitter, there is a video of him being abused as he walks off the pitch though.
-
Doubt it, he apparently cried yesterday after being abused by Everton fans. Don't think he got the balls to do what Sterling did.
-
50m release clause let's go boys
-
He is going to win them the league like Fabregas did for us. In fact unless we get Pogba and a defender think we will be fighting for the 4th spot with Liverpool as MU and Arsenal are definitely taking the other 2 spots.
-
I don't know but it is definitely more complicated than just paying the release clause. However we also paid the clause for Costa didn't we so maybe you are right. Either way 50m for Laporte is fine too if we are willing to pay similar amount for Stones.
-
So now both Stones and Pogba are dead deals can we actually look at realistic targets like this guy please.
-
Apparently there are some tax issue and stuff with release clauses in Spain so would be quite a bit more than 50m, maybe close to 60m and they don't negotiate at all ever.
-
so now 30m euros is not a lot should have got Otamendi for £30m when we got the chance, don't understand why we fucked around with the best defender in la liga last season.
-
In a world where Stones is worth £40m Sterling for £50m and KDB for £55m is nothing at all. Pogba for £70m looks like a bargain now.
-
along with around 180k in wages so more like over 10m per season. Also he is never getting full 90 so guess we will be waiting a while...
-
Another fan/itk account wanting attention I am guessing then troll by announcing that the deal is off/he is off to the toilet.
-
https://twitter.com/mohd_tagaya/status/636634638551678977 What a fucktard, who digged him up in the 1st place? please don't post any more itk apart from Di Marzio as so far all of them have been bs.
-
Knew it, that fucking Arab guy is an attention seeker like 99% of the other 'itk'. Imo all sources should be banned unless they are from big media companies or someone with proven track of reliablity like Di Marzio.
-
Sometime if they are good enough yeah. Messi and Neymar do hardly any tracking back at all. While KDB might not be that good yet binning him off after a few games purely because he refused to follow your defensive instruction completely is unacceptable.
-
All the bitter people wishing him bad luck at City lol, blame Mourinho for forcing every attacker to track back. He didn't want out of the club for some unreasonable reason, it just wasn't meant to be no need to get bitter.
-
Playing bad on purpose so we can sign him cheaper, good boy
-
buy a Ferrari to drive at 10mph.
-
It only applies when it fits the narrative if Mikel was out for 3 months and came back playing crap everyone would be on his back instead of saying 'he is not match fit'.
-
Need 15 matches to judge him then after that it would be 'he didn't start enough' then 'he is free anyway'. Point is he is past it and will flop here so badly but most people just jump onto the usual 'settling in' reason.
-
Why did you post a tweet that is 1 year old lol. They might have been interested in him then.
-
Would be funny if he picks up an injury tonight, instant kill to rumor lol unless we still plan to push for the move this window. But then he wouldn't be able to pass his medical.
-
What is funny about this bidding war is that all the 'interested' clubs all seem to go and get other expensive targets instead of Pogba haha. Barca with Turan, Madrid with Kovacic, PSG with Di Maria, City now seemingly with KDB. Clearly everyone got big money to spend, I wonder why no one got involved in this 'bidding war' Juve fans think will be happening. Maybe, just maybe they all think he is overpriced at £70m and we are the only team left interested. Not to mention he is demanding 12m after tax per year as rumored and that put him up there with the highest paid players in the world.
-
Azplicueta could be a surprising choice for me. Mou favorite, always praised his character and never seems to be involved in anything controversial and always does his job well. Then again he hardly ever seems to talk on the field either so don't know how inspired he could be for other players. As for people suggesting Fabregas, lol a bottler who goes missing in most big games and not someone to stand up and put his body on the line when things get tough, if he is made captain we are probably destined for Arsenal style trophy draught.
-
Hamsik doesn't want to leave, he stated many times before he is not willing to leave Naples becaus he loves it there and that Napoli president would want something like 70m euros for him anyway judging from his comments and situation with Cavani in the past. It is not just simple as bid rejected so let's open football manager database and see who is the next highest rated player. On Naiggolan, he seems a good player but until last season I doubt anyone heard of him and again Roma would probably want something like 50m euros for him. Also he strikes me as a CAM more than a CM anyway. This is why we didn't bid for Koke, Isco...etc because they don't want to leave and their club don't want to sell no matter what, Juve and Pogba on the other hand might if we offer the right amount. It is also why we don't look at Varane for example insteaf of Stones even though we are offering 40m anyway.
