  1. Was the full quote posted, cause I swear there was something in the lines of ‘They asked me about him a month ago but I didn’t know it was done until they announced it.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. False 9 and Emerson suddenly in the group after being left out whole season, except for the cups. In case of emergency if Alonso (and he will) struggle too much.
  3. ''Blackouts" is the new "suffering without the ball".
  4. Hope Carlo and Napoli does the job in two weeks and Inter doesn't bottle it. It'so close to the perfect scenario for me.
  5. This. I really don't get it why he's constantly taken off in games like these which are still very close. We seem to lose control of the midfield every time it happens. It happened during the Liverpool game and yesterday too. Other thing is, Barkley may have took his chance with 2 goals in 2 games but this game + the Liverpool one, he was largely at fault for two goals. You can blame Alonso being high up on the pitch for United's second but there was such a big hole between him and Luiz which should've been covered a lot better. I like Ross a lot and I think he can thrive under Sarri but I don't think he should come on for Kovacic in big games, but it seems Sarri likes to stick to his 4-3-3 under any circumstances, and Jorginho is undroppable. If he took off Kante everyone would go for his head.
  6. Why not Liverpool too? It would be great if they play Thursday-Sunday in the spring too.

  8. Well, that would be the most logical thing, since the board doesn’t want to pay both Conte and Napoli. If it was only Sarri’s cause, it would’ve probably be done by now. Bad things is - if he does stay, next season the press will be even more insufferable. This season was “Will you be a Chelsea manager next season?” and this season will be “Are you going to sign an extension?” every week... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Exactly. If somebody was interested in Conte, like how we are interested in Sarri, we could've been in Napoli's position, but we are not. It sucks but the board needs to decide what to do, because we need to sort out the DOF and start on transfers as soon as possible. It's not like we're having a very long summer to do so.
  10. Because Sarri's not sacked. He's still their employer.
  11. Yeah, saw it too. Apparently Koulibaly's on his wishlist too. He's a beast but he'll cost a shit of money for a position that we don't need strengthening.
  12. From the newest Standard article: "He wants right-back Elseid Hysaj, midfielder Piotr Zielinski and 32-year-old defender Raul Albiol to join him if he takes charge of the Blues. All three have release clauses worth £44m, £57m and £5.2m respectively. "
  13. If the rumors about Sarri wanting Higuain to come are true, I’m starting to dislike him even before he has signed the thing. He’s got worse targets than Conte. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. So, according to Italian press, Sarri and his staff are going to be in London today, but according to the English press or Matt Law specifically, they still wait for an offer from the club. It must be great to be a journo.
  15. Well, according to Napoli fans he fears he will lose a lot of key-players in the summer, and ADL doesn't want to splash the clash. Sounds familiar?
  16. Could be, or just his agent doesn’t want to spill the beans. But until an official announcement or at least picture of the new manager at Cobham, I won’t look too much into rumors. The media was certain Artera will be the new manager of Arsenal.. and suddenly it’s Emery and that came from Arsenal’s spokesman basically. Atm, lot of things are kept in the dark in our club, even to people like Matt Law who seem to have some inside information. I’m more surprised, there haven’t been any talks about the next DOF since Emenalo departure tbh. Wouldn’t be more logical to appoint a DOF first, then a manager and then to think about the squad? I guess we’re doing things backwards. The club have their work cut out for them with the short summer this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. ^ I thought about that too but correct if I'm wrong but didn't Cahill sign a 5-year deal just months before he turned 30? That situation just shits on the over-30 policy tbh, but still Lewa will turn 30 late August. But it's too good to be true.
  18. I don't expect a manager of his quality to end up in Russia, but it would be interesting development if it happens.
  19. And I read, he was the first one to go down the tunnel and he didn't celebrate with his teammates and staff, which is very disrespectful. Even if Conte's gone, he needs to go too, regardless who's going to be the new manager.
  20. Because he was heavy linked to Bayern: The most reliable journo for Bayern. And from what I read, a lot of Bayern fans thought before he reported this, Leverkuzen won't sell to Bayern. Don't know what is the story there tbh.
  21. Apparently Lukaku won't start. He was very good against at Old Trafford, but still I have bad memories from the year before when they played with Rashford and Lingard.. Still, could be mind games from Jose.
  22. Well, if this is true and Conte wants to leave on a high (I highly doubt it), then he needs to drop every player from the match-day squad, who he thinks will not be committed to the game. And it's not like Willian has keep his form from two months ago, so won't be that of a loss anyway.
  23. What does another one mean? I think it was obvious the relationship between Luiz and Conte was damaged during the season and he was not actually that badly hurt. He may have been in some pain, but certainly not an injury that kept him out for the remainder of the season. I'm more surprised by Willian's comments tbf.
  24. Yeah, Enrique rumors heating up.. But this paragraph was the most interesting for me: "With the Paris Saint-Germain job going to Thomas Tuchel and Max Allegri and Sarri potentially staying at Juventus and Napoli, there is an increasing fear that Conte could take a year off and collect his full compensation." Does the club really fear this could turn into another Costa situation but with Conte this time? I knew our club is in shambles atm but this will be a new low.
  25. I agree with him too, but yes, for me too it's not his job to comment on things like this. How will the dressing room react when they read this? "Well, the best player in our teams think we're shit and need to be replaced." So, if he says, then I guess Conte was right after all?
