  1. This could work. It seems like Roman has liked him for a while and his Liverpool side were similar to ours. Hard working, tough to beat, solid and causing problems to top sides. Rafa seems so happy to get this job, he's turned so many jobs down, he was never going to get an opportunity bigger in the premiership than this one which is the league he wants to be in. He's dreamed about a job like this. He knows he's only got 6 or 7 months to make an impact and put himself back in the shop window or try and cement a bigger contract with us. He knows what he has to do, even if it's only for his own ego, it will still be good for us, he'll put everything into this period. He wants to win trophies, just like us. He also hates Man Utd and especially SAF. Don't get me wrong, i'm against him being our boss but it adds a bit of spice to some of our games doesn't it. Anfield and Old Trafford will be interesting games. His English is good, he's not scared to voice his opinion, he's not boring and he has many players he can relate with, especially our hopeless striker and Juan the man. Mata certainly seems happy with the appointment. Just trying to sound a bit positive, i'm so intrigued to see what's gonna happen to us, just makes it exciting. He is a pretty decent manager but can feel pressure too. FACT
  2. Feel worse now, i mean, this is just employment for Benitez, he loves Liverpool, he don't give a shit about us, it's just a job. I only ever want people who love the club or have had to bad history against us in the past. This is a disaster for us and for them.
  3. Reading through this is awesome. If we think we're pissed off.... read through this, it's great. Now we have to win the league at Anfield. http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=300132.0
  4. He got sacked from Liverpool and he messed up Inter. I'm sure he has had spells where he hasn't won for 5 games, anyway it's been an emotional day, my facebook has had lots of action too, been hectic so i'm going to bed. But not before i search RAWK with the thought in my mind of Benitez and Torres' Chelsea going to win at Anfield. We tried to take their players, Benayoun, Torres, Meireles... they failed so next we took their manager, the manager of that mega annoying night in Istanbul. Gonna enjoy reading through these rats forums. Ahh here we go guys. ENJOY!!! http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=300132.0
  5. I know lol, it was a bit tongue in cheek, of course i hated him too but always respected him as a player, you do hate opponents from rival teams. It's just gonna be so interesting to see how this goes. I was stunned when we signed Mark Hughes from Man Utd, Weah, Zola, Vialli, Shevchenko, Ballack, Torres but this has shocked me more than anything else. At least he's Spanish, he'll connect to many.
  6. To be honest, those guys is probably still doing that to Torres. Nothing has changed there. I'm actually excited as well as gutted, it's a weird mix.
  7. Be serious, he will be manager until the end of the season, i can't see it getting cut short even if we go below Liverpool.
  8. This is surrealism without the art. It's mad, it's strange, it's weird, i just don't know what i'm thinking right now. Rafael Benitez is Chelsea manager, i mean, i can't imagine it, i can't even picture him wearing a Chelsea logo and celebrating a Chelsea goal or win just feels weird. What's going on? Please someone wake me up, this cannot be true. At least it's not permanent, It's intrim, that fucking word again. it's a "Steady our ship 'til the summer and i'll give you a nice pay off".
  9. He's going to be appointed today. It's done n dusted.
  10. Mourinho would sort the defence out and keep the attacking threat. Look at the attacking players he has at Real. he would sell Luiz, he would sort out everything. He should never have been sacked in the first place. It's ok saying you should never go back but this case is different i think. The fact is, Jose is coming back to the premiership and his family live in London. It's simply either us or Man City. I'd say we have a pretty good chance. I'm 1000000000% against Rafa but at least he has great defensive organisation.
  11. It's ok, he's only coming til Jose comes back. I can live with that.
  12. Watching SSN and Guillem Balague said that Mourinho wants to leave Real Madrid in the summer as he's sad seeing his wife and kids pictures from London. They still live here? Did i really just hear that or did i hear wrong? EDIT: Just read this Jose Mourinho's family is preparing a return to London, British tabloid The Daily Star reports. The British tabloid discovered that the manager’s wife Matilde and daughter Tita were this week at the Camberwell College of Arts in London to enroll for next year's classes. Both arrived at Heathrow airport on Friday night from Madrid. The 16-year old daughter of Mourinho will be studying Fine Arts in London next semester, will begin his studies in Fine Arts in the city of London (which is only five miles from Stamford Bridge). I swear Jose is coming back, i swear by it. Rafa will take over til the end of the season then Jose is coming back, it's looking so realistic now. It has to happen.
  13. there's only 1 man, ONE man. Please Jose, please come home.
  14. Gutted, absolutely gutted and devastated and pissed off. If we get Benitez, we need to start an AFC Chelsea or something because it's a fucking sham! For everything he's done, he couldn't wait to get rid of him could he, couldn't fucking wait. Any excuse he had. He won the UCL so couldn't really sack him could he, but now 5 games without a win, he has that excuse. We're 4 points off the top of the prem, it's sick, absolutely fucking disgustingly sick. Hope Man City smash us now and hope we go down. Cunt of a team.
  15. Shakhtar will beat Juve if they want to. I feel they'll rest players and cruise through it. Think about it, Shakhtar are already through. Juve are corrupt and Platini's former team, he's a Juve legend. There's no way we are going through so put that optimism to bed and concentrate on facing Liverpool in Europe again.
  16. The way we're playing, we won't even win the fucking thing anyway. May be good for the players though to give them a new focus and a genuine trophy target.
  17. Tried to post yesterday but i was so angry and drunk i struggled to focus clearly on the keyboard and therefore thought i'd go to bed and post the next day. So here i am, still extremely pissed off i must admit. Our defence was awful and if we're not gonna take our chances, what's the point? It might do us good getting knocked out anyway, we can play our youngsters in the Europa League, giving them great experience and rest ourselves focussing fully on the premiership which we CAN win because nobody is looking exceptionally good to me. We have more chance winning the prem if we get knocked out the UCL. We've won the UCL anyway, let's add the UEL to our CV lol. 5 games without a win, it's that fucking month again. We start so well every season, i mean EVERY SEASON! Even Scolari's Chelsea and AVB's Chelsea started well first 7-8 games and then fell away, it's very frustrating to go on these runs. Robbie won't get sacked though, he'll get the chance to win the prem and we have the club world cup soon too so all is not lost. There's no disgrace coming 3rd in a group with Juve and Shakhtar in it, losing that 2-0 lead against Juve was the killer. Channel 5 here we come. Man City players can get Ashley Cole back now. Funny how there things come around after last year when we played Man City at home after Man City were pushed into the UEL, Ashley singing "Channel 5, Channel 5" to em. Shakhtar and Juve will play out a goal less draw and make sure we're out but if Shakhtar tried, they would win the game.
  18. Yeah, when he was first choice under AVB he was one of the most confident players i've ever seen for us and he made so many things happen, even as a RW what he was being used as. A confident happy Sturridge is a very good player to have in the side.
  19. If Torres starts the next league home game against City, the whole crowd should just put in a "One Daniel Sturridge" Chant just to stir things up a bit. Danny had a great game in that fixture last season.
  20. Saw the goals on Sunday highlights, Danny looked like a real striker in the brief highlights they showed, just their GK seemed to have a pretty decent game and thwarted him on a couple of occasions well. Any other day he woulda bagged a couple. He needs a run now, he should be our main striker.
  21. Wouldn't surprise me if we won this game at all. Juve have had a couple of bad home results and were comprehensively outplayed at home to Shakhtar too. If everyone's fit, we can beat them there i feel. Our bad spell will be over very soon, if we win the next 2 games, it's absolutely game on!
  22. Terry and Ivanovic or Terry and Cahill. I wouldn't have Luiz anywhere near the back 4. Our best back 4 is Azpi, Ivan, JT, Cole.
  23. So would you all say that atm, our best defence is probably Azpi, Ivan, JT and Cole when all fit? I wouldn't have Ivan at RB and i wouldn't have Luiz anywhere near it. Our 3 CB's are Ivanovic, Terry and Cahill, end of story for me. Luiz imo could play CDM or even CAM too. I'd put him anywhere but CB. Anyway it is gutting to lose and go 4 without a win. Losing happens but it's not nice when its part of a bad run of dropping 10 points in just a few weeks.
