I am starting to see peoples hate for barca now, even my uncle said he hates them more than man utd. He hates Liverpool the most (watched Chelsea through the 70's & 80's) but he really does have a hate for Barca because yes, they play very good football but they are cheats and hugely unsporting and disrespectful to their fellow professionals. A point that i do agree with now after seeing their last few matches, especially their encounters with Real Madrid. I'll always hate the usual suspects more tho, the Arsenals, Man Utds, Liverpools, Tottenhams because they are our rivals and who we have yearly battles and histories with. If Barca win the UCL, we wont hear it, only Madrid fans and other spaniards or spanish la liga based fans will. We won't care. If Man Utd win it.... boy we'll hear about it (and rightly so btw, if we won it, i'd never shut up about it). Outside the premiership, i hate Barcelona simply because of their play acting. I'll never respect a cheat or a fraud. I don't particularly like Real Madrid either and i have a pretty bug hate for Roma too, the dirtiest fucking football team (over the last decade) to grace turf. Red Cafe have started their match day thread now, interesting to read it really, nobody is mentioning how lucky we get or putting us down really which is kinda respectful. It's a massive game, very similar circumstances to when we went there last year and won to go above them and then stayed there. It's been an amazing season and i feel another twist to come from somewhere. It is a huge ask tho to expect us to win our last 8 games to win the league but 5 down, 3 to go. Arsenal did win their last 13 games in 2002 tho so its not like it's impossible to finish the season like that. And their last 2 games were Man Utd and Everton. They actually won 18 out of their last 21 games drawing the other 3. Incredible really. We have the harder run in without doubt but we have the best record against man utd and the best record at old trafford out of everyone in the prem. If we go at them like we did in the first 20 minutes of the 2nd leg in the UCL, we might score early this time and it could be a springboard to win the game and the premiership title Doesn't get much bigger than this.

I'd be surprised if we win but the motivation of winning and going top and the memory of what happened in the UCL, plus having a fit squad to chose from, we should be well up for it. They're good at home because of officials and the fact that so many teams are already beaten when they step out onto the pitch. Time to ruin their home record and their season.

It's amazing really, from losing 7-1 at home to Colchester United to then stealing Colchesters manager, going top of the league, gaining promotion, getting revenge on colchester (5-0) in the process then the next year coming up tgo the premiership. Awesome for them and very happy too. In 2005 we got 6 easy points against them and they beat Man Utd 2-0 so 'mon the canaries!

Just win at old trafford, GD don't matter in this game. 2-0 would be nice because it would make us 4 better off but you can only look to win the game. Newcastle home is the chance to try n bag a few but we just have to win all 3 and see. Blackburn might go n hold Utd or beat them, that aint an easy place to go.

o be honest, no matter what happens in the next 3 games, hats off to the lads for a great fightback and great spirit. Since losing at home to Liverpool on Feb 6, we've played 9, won 7, drawn 2. Full credit to our boys.

I think Carlo knew what fuck up he made after the UCL away game by not playing Drogba and regretted it so much. Now he has a chance to redeem himself, save our season and save his arse too. If we win the league, it would probably eclipse what Man Utd did to Newcastle in 1996.

I thought he played well yesterday and all this about the 4-4-2 not working was bollocks because we were excellent in the first half hour and the only reason we were losing was due to a long range strike (that Cech shoulda saved) and a bit of bad luck with hitting the bar. We dominated them and Torres' movement was really good.

Sometimes you get luck, sometimes you don't. If there's one team that's got hugely lucky all throughout this season, it's Man Utd so we deserve some. We hit the bar, we shoulda had a penalty, we scored a goal that wasn't over the line, we scored a goal that was offside.
