  1. See that Argie scored 2 again for Barca. I predict a good future for this young lad....
  2. Yeah, we should lock this thread until he scores. He needs to score to unlock it.
  3. Would be quite funny if Warnock got Leeds into the playoffs and up to the prem and replaced QPR. I can't see it happening but Leeds did a very good 2-0 win at 'Boro earlier.
  4. I can't believe how many games Juve draw, it's unbelievable.
  5. Moyes will go to Tottenham i reckon.
  6. This has turned into the Falcao, Munian and Llorente thread lol. No way Atletico would sell Falcao after buying him for £40m unless we offer a lot more which won't happen. And AVB is no longer here so the 5% chance is now 0% chance. We should focus on spanish, spain are currently dominating the football universe. Muniain and Llorente shouldn't cost loads and they are good enough to replace Drogba and Lamps imho. Oh and btw, i don't only watch Barca and Madrid games, i've watched Llorente for a good 5 years and the guy is fucking superb!
  7. You know, when i read everything back starting from when Andre came to how he treated Anelka and Alex, 2 players who did a lot for our club, so nastily to him sacking Tommy Langley for something he said, to showing a complete lack of respect for Lampard, a true Chelsea legend and reading in the paper about what he was like with his time keeping on the players and sleeping at the training ground obsessed with this job and being such a strict cunt.... I'm so relieved now that he's not our manager any more. I always did my best in trying to defend him and say give him time to build hgis own team but we never really saw what he was like and tbh he was a bit of a prick wasn't he. We would of only got worse under him and under his methods i think and this season woulda ended in a disaster. I feel a lot happier today than i did about 3 weeks ago. Not just because we've won 2 in a row and not just because we have 2 Chelsea legends back but i just feel that the players are happier now, there's more passion and they're more relaxed without this control freak in charge. For a new manager, i don't really mind who it is as long as they know how to respect the players, know how to treat the players and at the same time know what's right for us and aint afraid of changing the team around. The working relationship between players and manager cannot be understated at all because it's the biggest part of the job by a mile and this is why we were so bad and inconsistent this season, because the players and Andre weren't together, they were rather against each other. Players & manager must be united and not divided. If we do really well from now til the end of the season and win the FA Cup and qualify for the UCL, there's no reason why Robbie can't keep the job on a permanent basis, especially if the players show the owner and everyone else that they are happy and reinvigorated . Team spirit is more important than having a big name manager imo because it's the players who play the game and get the results at the end of the day. It don't matter how high profile or big the manager may be, if the players aint happy, performances and trophies will simply not happen.
  8. Ronaldo and Messi never get injured either, really unbelievable i've never, ever seen any of them stay weeks or months on the sidelines. The Messi drug thing is only mentioned because he is so good. They have nothing to do with how he plays, it's still him who decides what he does when he does it.
  9. Yeah.... Arsenal and Tottenham starting shockingly, still Yids did play both Mancs in their first 2. At least one of our London rivals are going down tho. Was nice seeing you after all these years, now fuck off back to where you belong.
  10. Agree, just leave it now as it is. 2 works, 3 is too many, 1 is an overcrowded thread. 2 works nicely.
  11. Blimey, this thread is hotter than the sun. He didn't even play today and still it burns on. This will definitely get over 1000 pages in time. For the record, i think he's shit and must fuck off ASAP.
  12. You lot moan when we lose and moan when we win and now we beat a team 1-0 who are hard to beat at any time. Tottenham have lost 3 in a row, Man Utd have lost at home to Blackburn this season so we can't just expect to turn up and win easily 3-0. If u give me 1-0 before KO, i woulda been happy to take it. Now we win and it's "Why didn't we win 4-0 we were crap". Complete shite.
  13. Stoke posed precisely no ambition and no attacking desire. They played to score 0 and were so negative they coulda finished with -1, Mikel had an easy game today. Lets see how he does against City, Spurs and Arsenal if he plays. What even happened to Romeu?
  14. I don't know many teams to easily dominate stoke city and win by 5. Not this season anyway. This has actually been Stokes worst season in the prem because they aint been great at home, maybe having problems with the amount of games as they were in the europa league but they aint been thrashed often have they? And we aint lost to em in the prem yet, they've beat Arsenal a couple of times lately. It's so hard to play Stoke and especially when they have everyone camped behind the ball. Ungrateful cunts be happy we fucking won a match.
  15. Worry about that after the season, if we've come 5th, if we lost 4 more games, if we start pre season with all the old guard. Don't think negative after a win otherwise you just aint ever gonna be happy are you. It's been a tough season so i'm grateful and happy for the wins we do get and now we can relax not worrying about a Chelsea game this weekend. Maybe we don't wanna be brought back down to earth because we aint won many lately. Enjoy the win, be pissed off when we next lose with a whimper.
  16. Why make a thread like this after we've just won? Why don't you just enjoy the victory, have a few pints and enjoy the rest of the weekend just like i'm going to do.
  17. Very good result and not a bad performance at all, Gary Cahill was a fucking wall today, was an absolutely fantastic defensive display. Didn't commit himself or do anything rash, contained and went in when he needed to. Ash was better today too, was a the Ash we all know and Lamps was also pretty good too. In some ways the sending off made it harder for us because it made Stoke's decision for them. They were simply gonna try n hold on, they were really poor today btw. Mata made the difference when he came on i feel and it was a great move by Robbie to get him on early after they went down to 10, we needed as much time as possible with the spanish genius on the pitch to break through. We hit the woodwork 3 times too. The goal was nice, shit defending from their left side but Drogs finished it really nicely. Big win, very satisfied.
  18. Chelsea's birthday the same day as Robbie takes charge of the blues for the first time at home with Eddie. Tooo sweet a story, we better not fuck up.
  19. One good game? I actually have sky and do watch the spanish league. Llorente is so dominating, i'd have him as my main striker any day.
  20. Fuck Hazard and Cavani for £60m, get Muniain and Llorente for £25m
  21. Actually in his last 2 seasons we finished 11th i think. In 94/95 we came 11th and Arsenal came 12th, how times change lmao! I remember the Zaragoza home game, such a great effort, looked good when their keeper smashed a clearence against Furlongs head and it flew in but wasn't meant to be. Then Nayim vs Arse in the Final, legendary moment from the ex yido. I remember the Brugge games too just like they were yesterday as an 8 year old loved those days. He couldn't do the job now. Would rather Ruud back.
  22. Would love him at the Bridge, quality player. We need to keep the spanish influence going because we could be fucking awesome with Romeu, Mata, Munain and Torres with Llorente. Llorente is one of the best strikers at what he does.
  23. AVB's Porto were great last season and look how shit we were with him. Some managers are simply just made for smaller clubs.
  24. He could score 1000000 goals and still not everyone would say he's the best ever. From my opinion, he's the best player i've ever seen and ever will see. I'll be proud to say i watched him throughout his whole career like how ppl saw Pele, Maradonna, Best, Cruyff, Van Basten and so on.
  25. I would take the end if offered. 8. Made UCL Semi 9. Whipped Arsenal 4-1 at the Emirates 10. Finished in the top 4 11. Won the FA Cup
