Note... He's not 'The Real One' or the 'Real Madrid One' or 'The RMCF One' he's 'The Madrid One' which when he first came i thought he was from Madrid.... it's like me calling myself 'The London One'... There are a few teams in Madrid with respect to the Europa League winners.
-
The 'Madrid' one. Ok mate, so your a Madrid guy whose from USA wanting Portugal to beat Spain. Classy. Just another glory hunting dick and no... i wont be taking any hike anytime soon, not even from this piece of shit thread
-
Shame on you you mean, being a 'Madridista' or whatever you people call yourselves and wanting Portugal to beat Spain. Real ppl from Madrid would cringe at having you support their club. "We have the ability to gain profit, clear debts, and generate revenue which only a couple of other franchises can compare to, we have the money to do things" That's because the banks clear your debts for you. Well done.

Would be good if the 'only search in titles' and 'any words' was the default option or at least being able to save the preference.

A 2 year deal basically means if next year is shit, i'll give you another year to put it right. If both years are shit, you can leave without me paying you a penny in compensation. We've paid off way too many managers recently it's embarrassing. AVB was the worst tho, paid to come, paid to leave. 2 years is perfect for any manager but i think every manager should get the 2 years without being sacked mid way through. Can't keep throwing money away. Anyway.... Happy Eddie & Robbie are staying. Would love to win the prem with them.

Yeah oops but i edited it anyway. His assist in Benfica deserves a mention too, he did a lot in the UCL run. Lovely to see Terry get praised and Rooney the opposite in our media lol, quite amazxing.... but our worst player in the tournament was Ashley Young without a shadow of a doubt.

Champions League Final 2012 - Chelsea 1 (4)-(3) 1 Bayern Munich
Ollie replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Champions Archive
As i've been off today, ever since getting up i've just been watching a whole host of video's of us winning the UCL. Came across the penalty shootout from ze german point of view in 'their stadium'. NEIN NEIN NEIN!! SCHEISSE! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9Rms5QgAVA&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PL541DAB8EB941D169 -
Most if not all topics get argumentative because of a basic reply or non agreement along with calling the person a name or something nasty like a 12 year old would do. It is sad that the majority of people can't just say their opinion without having to abuse someone whilst doing it.

I wouldn't mind if he went to yids. He's a decent squad player but not the kind of player that i'b be gutted to see join a cunt club like Tottenham. I was gutted when Poyet went to Tottenham, i still remember the image on the back of the paper like a nightmare. Poyet was a great Chelsea player. Meireles is that 6-7/10 player that's part of most squads.

Not sure what Nike have been playing at the last few years. Their kits around 96/98 were really nice. They're trying to go back to basics and failing badly. Purple & Black hoops with red on the edges of the sleeves... weird.

I think LDN Would be a great mod here, he stands out for me.
-
I don't give 2 tosses about JT the person, if he does a good job for Chelsea and England, that's all that matters for me because Chelsea is a big part of my life, not John Terry. The Barca incident was crazy yes...we won the completion. Finished.
-
Didier scored, yay. Messi remains stupidly good.

Everyone had a part to play in our UCL triumph and everyone deserved to go up and lift the trophy, we didn't win the UCL just playing 1 game, we won it because of 13 games. Kalou got a vital goal at Benfica and was trusted as our LW throught the later stages Meireles got the killer against Benfica in the 2nd leg Torres killed off Barcelona and won the corner in the final, plus scored 2 vs Genk as well as a great assist for Kalou's winner in Benfica. Terry got the 2nd goal against Napoli and defended fantastically in all the games, especially Barca at the bridge. Mikel was immense since around February, excelled against Barca and Bayern Lampard scored the 2 crucial penalties and set up Ramires' stunning goal in the Nou Camp. Ramires scored 'that' goal in the Camp Nou just minutes after getting a yellow card that would rule him out of the final. Drogba was just immense throughout, so glad it was him with that winning penalty and equaliser. Written in the stars. Cech as well, back to his best in the UCL, fantastic in the Semi's and final and saved the pens in the final shootout from Olic and Schweinsteiger as well as Robben's pen in Extra Time. Fuck it, i'm changing my MOTM to him in that thread... Sorry Dids. Bosingwa, was needed in a tough situation at CB at the nou camp after Cahill and Terry had gone off. He put in one hell of a gutsy shift and was also good in the final. Ivanovic, again immense. He scored the crucial goal against Napoli and played with so much heart in Barca after his booking Cahill, what a few months for him. Brilliant in the home leg against Barca and to be out for 2 months and come back in the UCL Final to play like that? Unbelievable. Luiz, same as Cahill, got injured months before the final but battled and battled and made it back for the UCL Final. He got injured again after 10 minutes of the final but just kept going and was exceptional and scored a wonderful pen in the shootout. Cole, back to his best in every UCL game, an absolute animal in those KO rounds, still the best LB in the world. Also scored the vital pen in the shootout, expertly. Mata, what a signing. Bit quiet in the later UCL games as we were putting the emphasis on defending the goal rather than attacking theirs but when needed, his corner was delivered perfectly to Drogba's head and the rest they say, is history. Malouda, Sturridge and Essien didn't feature much and i dunno if i missed anyone out lol. I know this is in the John Terry thread and maybe should be in the UCL final thread but i'm just pointing out that it's a team game, a team effort and a team success. JT played his part and was rightfully up there to collect the trophy even if he did a mad thing at the Nou Camp. Maybe it benefited us in the long run anyway lol, we got through, didn't we? After all the hurt from '04, i'd've been gutted to never see JT (Cole, Lamps, Cech and Drogs too of course) never lift that trophy. It woulda ate at me forever. Let's just be thankful that no matter the circumstances, we've seen it happen so enjoy it.

Have a 'Bitch Board' where one calls the other out then have a massive bitching before one backs down and cries. Then move back to original discussion. This actually happened in a forum i was on back in the day, it lasted a few months lol but was very often used

They are back for now....

Doesn't matter how much one may cheat, if he's the best, he's the best. Scoring with a hand or diving doesn't mean you're not the best because of it. Everyone cheats anyway in their own ways nowadays.
-
Well, he accomplished everything, time for a new era. Just a shame he didn't help us in Japan and in Monaco, those 2 things he hasn't won with us or in his life but he's at a good age for 1 more chapter some place else.
-
Was on Sky Sports News, one of the media asked him while he was signing autographs after their training "Are you excited about playing against England tomorrow evening?" He replied, "Firstly i don't speak English and don't ask me questions" then promptly walked down the tunnel. bastard

That stadium idea is stunning, absolutely unbelievable. Seems they could get another 20,000 seats in the corners if they really pushed it but nah.... i love the look of that. Nothing like anything i've ever seen, so unique.

It's good that people are willing to be a mod. I like to just come here and post as well as many others but some people are different and also it's a good way for someone new-ish to maybe establish themselves here altho it's not gonna work like that this time it seems. As much as i like it here, i'm happy with what i'm doing pressure free, post when i want etc and well i work from 12-7 every day so i think i do well to post as much as i do anyway. The legend tags were cool, proper posters actually getting some credit after a couple of good consistent years of activity, it's a recognition of being a genuine good member and gives the rest something to aim for. Even if a tag wasn't there, the gold name shouldn't be removed. I was apart of it on other forums where certain members had different colours and there were legends etc, i always liked that not everyone was the same.

I think it's perfect for actual matches if i'm honest. Instead of running to the thread to post "GET THE FUCK IN!! you can all do it there without spamming post count. The chatbox needs to be back anyway or ppl will just carry on talking to each other in threads.

1) Get rid of that poxy globber face, it's abused and getting very boring now. I have noticed tho that people really struggle to understand one's sarcasm or sense of humour at times which is a shame and can cause the most fucked up arguments lol. Sometimes i cringe when i see a reply thinking "how can you not realise that's a tongue in cheek comment?" I'm sure the globber face was brought in for good intentions but it's gone too far now imo. 2) Stay on topic, it's hardly difficult. But again someone might say something that is on topic but can make something off topic so easilly. It's in our nature to reply to a previous comment, it's very easy to go off topic, even i do it occasionally, i don't mean to but it does happen like answering someones question or correcting someone. In a transfer thread, a common one is when taking about the person the topic is about, someone will say (example Hazard thread), "let's get Hazard and then Hulk then we'll be unbeatable" "I think Hulk is not the player we need to be with Hazard and Mata" "Fuck Hulk, Porto are asking for too much money, we should get Navas instead" Suddenly from being on topic, it's gone on to Hulk or someone else even tho it went off topic from a Hazard comment. These are just small issues that can be stopped with a bit of common sense. 3) Stop having conversations in a thread. Again can be hard, we're only answering the above both most of the time. At the end of the day, it's very easy to go slightly off topic. When you think it's going off topic, just make a note of it to stop and get back on it.

Must admit i was pissed off with the trophy lifting too, Wanted a clear picture of JT and Lamps lifting it together like they have so much in the FA Cup, shame really as this was the biggy.
-
Lampard indeed should be voted our greatest ever. He's achieved everything and done so much personally. The 5 of Cech, Cole, JT, Lampard and Drogba will never be matched. Soon it'll be a new era, just so glad this era have won the lot. I still think Frank has 2 years left but as a Scholes/Giggs-esque bit part player to help around the squad. 34 but still at a top level.
