Haaland destroyed West Ham today. I never understood why we lost this player. Last summer ok, Dortmund were not letting him go, but this summer why were we beaten hands down by Pep ? I don't believe Chelsea's scoring problem are the forwards are such. Ok Lukaku proved wanting and Werner is one of the inglorious league of chance wasters. But Kai-Pulisic and Ziyech ? Why ? The real problem is we don't have players to open up defenses and free spaces. Hazard was definitely one and Cesc with his accurate passing. Really I don't see how if we had signed Haaland he could pull things out of the fire without a Hazard to do the preliminary work for him.
