Bookies are not so up to date re. election results as other pundits, but they are up to date enough - at least for us who do not live in the States. So today it's Trump 1.66, Biden 2.50. Biggest margin ever for the b****rd, after the conviction as well !

I don't really believe that. There are so many wars happening now and forget whose side you are on. Afghanistan - Middle East - Ukraine. The military's mechanisms work. When I was in the services sometimes I was peeking into the various little booklets they had in the "second bureau", the mps. Some of them were old, from junta days. In one of them members of the armed forces were advised to make junta propaganda thus: If you go to a football match when you buy your ticket you should shout "thank god for the revolution - we no longer have to wait in endless queues for a ticket". The other one was more serious. Writen by a wing commander who was himself the son of a war hero but a junta supporter himself. He wrote "the army is a war machine destined to operate during peace time". That I think was a spot on observation.

In the war there is only one way, forward, The nearest I have been was when we were extinguishing a forest fire. There was a hut infront of me and I was supposed to go to the left of it and attack the fire. But that way the wind was blowing the flames into my face, so I negotiated the hut and attacked the flames from the other side. This movement the officer who was behind me he perceived as a retreat and said something to me - felt ashamed.

They will be first - no majority when all the others are added. In Greece New Democracy ~ 30% from 33% taking into account the loose vote in euroelections, then extreme right ~ 12% from 6%, then left wing imbeciles the rest plus many small time candidates.

The coalition of the parties of the extreme right is expected to come first in the euroelections of 9th of June. They have expelled the German party because of openly pronazi statements but the rest of them are expected to win the first place. They will not be the majority in the Europarliament because there will be more of all the others added together but will be first. Before you make comments about it on the 10th of June I will tell you why: - To the left of the European People's party (christian democrats - liberals) is a sea of i-d-i-o-t-s, they have made lots of people sympathetic to the extremists. - Together with the CDUs - so called libs they tax the sh*t out of people with objective taxation which means sizeable downpayments before one has seen the colour of one euro in his pocket. Maybe there is more. You will give me your reasons after the 9/6 because now most of you believe ... Yanis Varoufakis is out to sweep the boards clean. About taxation you know what one of the leading leftists said a few years back ? ... why are n't these people making consortiums with Citroen, Mercedes Benz ? meaning the veg vendors outside your house of course. This man expects my vote now.

Farage is the British Tsipras. The Greek Tsipras fell on his knees infront of Putin during the last days of the Greek crisis, 2015. But Putin was not in the mood and all he gave him was a puppie dog. So Tsipras sacked Yanis and returned to the EU. Farage hopes Trump will become president and fall on his knees so UK can become the 51st state.

The Tories have been thoroughly discredited since they adopted brexit - Rosemarie's baby. Labour used to have problem with their left - some of them had openly marxist views. But essentially both parties are into making themselves rich while doing nothing and the same goes for the parties of the extremists as well (commies - blackies). When something positive happens in the country it is always from external factors. Take for exaple the Pfizer covid vaccine - and assume that that was a positive development. The announcement came a few days after the elections of 2024 and Trump was furious. He said it was a conspiracy, he wanted the announcement to have come before so he could own the vaccine (as if he was a medical researcher !).

Is it me to blame again ? Circa 2000 we had in Greece the famous debate about ID cards - whether they should include religion or not. I followed because it was fun, everyday on tv a different panel. So I counted them: 95% of those who were in favour of not including the religion were marxists of the various shades. 4.5% were dodecatheist pagans (!). 0.5% were Roman Catholics who said they did n't feel at home with the orthodox majority. 0% Jews - they decided to abstain from the debates. But the dodecatheists may have been the same persons who appeared in many panels - their leader was a crazy woman who believed in the 12 gods.

Religion did not cause wars, but is true it could n't stop wars. Islam is the exception because it is the religion of jihad. Even so this is disputed by some of the imams. It's a piece of communist propaganda that religion causes wars.

You cannot beat corruption whatever you do or say. In fact there exist dictatorships under parliamentary cloak all over the place. But to change those with the original dictatorships is hardly recomended. It would be like throwing your old car over a cliff because it is old and walk the rest of the 500 miles to the nearest civilization. As for me all I can expect from the government is ... not to allow Erdogan reach the outskirts of Athens, the toll boths. Nothing else and that may be too much. I realise of course that all political parties have numerous cronies ready to jump into the gravy train and they do. Tell me this: How much does it cost to install a voting website ? The voting could be about anything, for example "who do you fancy as the next Chelsea manager Maresca, Zerbi or Mc Kenna". To vote you have to go to a local office where they are logged in to the website and you can vote. So you don't vote twice you are logged out from the voter's page after you place your vote and the operator in the next room has to login again for the next customer. Your vote is transmitted via the internet to some other url where all the votes are added and the partial sums are displayed. If this cannot be done with freebies tell me someone how much it would cost.

Sexy affairs is the first thing people forget. Forest fires and the like also - even if governments are accused for those. I believe that Boris's party gates also would n't matter - had he stayed as prime minister. Other things that matter, do matter. Is America different ? Are they so religious ? They are into some such antics. For example they do not allow football betting. Once upon a time an American saw in my sports website the words "Manchester United - Liverpool" so he wrote to me and said "mate, your site may be illegal in America - what is this Manchester United ?".

I wonder. Suppose it was n't Stromy Daniels but something else. Donald Trump was smoking weed and some weed vendor's website threatened to spill the beans. Or he was a race course fanatic and used to spend all hours of the day gambling and again someone threatened to spill the beans. All extracurriculum activites but I bet Trump would n't mind his former weed smoking habit / gambling habit to become public knowledge. Sex appears has that much of an extra mystique - makes you steal $ 130,000 from the republican party campaign funds. I still think it is kinky.
